At first everything was smooth sailing, was told that the agency was confident they would find a position for me. Later abandoned, not offered a single job from EdEx. Decided to take matters into my own hands and found my ideal job within my desired school on my own. To anyone reading this, have confidence in yourself, apply to schools directly on Tes. It's also better to apply to schools directly, you are paid over 12 months and opportunities for progression are avaliable as your employed directly by the school. EdEx is not needed.

Maddie and James were a total pleasure to work with! Super communicative, always supportive, and my preferences/skills were taken into account every step of the way. James provided a ton of information on prospective schools too, which helped make a difficult decision-making process a little easier. Finding work was fast and easy, it took about 2 weeks from application to trial to offer. Plus, the role I ultimately secured has proven fun and rewarding - totally exceeding my already high expectations!

Can't praise this team enough! Alex and George helped me find a fantastic local opportunity as a Teaching Assistant in a School. They have been friendly and professional and worked on finding me this role literally within the same week of applying to the advertisement on Indeed. I applied one Monday and by Tuesday I’d already received a reply and a call. The staff have been so lovely and supportive along the way. I’ve mostly communicated with Alex and George. They are so clear and transparent in all the information they give me. When I start my position next week, which was exactly what I was looking for, I feel excited and know exactly what I can expect. Finding a new job while working is really stressful. Holly was there throughout and really got to know what I needed to elevate some of the stress durinf this process.
