I was helped by Becca. After a very upsetting finish to my existing contract, Becca was very understanding and handled the emotional side of my job hunting due to school closure extremely well. She deftly dealt with all questions and concerns I had through the process and picked the ideal school for me based on a single conversation. Her strategy of selecting one school profile at a time and then deciding how to move forward was ideal, and her quick responses meant that just three working weeks after finding out about my school closing I had already secured a new post for September! My experience with Ed Ex was outstanding! Alex and Josh were attentive and supportive and I felt truly supported throughout! The onboarding process was thorough, and I felt well-prepared for my trial day. Their ongoing support made all the difference.

Although starting promisingly, my advisor only ever offered me one placement opportunity. After agreeing to try it out, she then did not respond to me for several days until she eventually told me the school had no funding to take on new staff. I completely understand that this was out of the agency's control, but she followed this up by suggesting that I look elsewhere for work since 'these things take time', and suggested different agencies to join.

I have not had any correspondence with the company since, despite my advisor promising to continue looking for opportunities for me. I feel as though they just wanted me to pay for the DBS check and leave.
