I have had a fantastic experience with EdEx. I applied for a teaching assistant position, and I have since been placed in it. The entire team communicated with incredible professionalism and helped move the process along swiftly and smoothly. I mostly worked with Ryan, who was amazing. Before my interview, he personally helped me prepare by providing useful tools and advice. I cannot fault any part of my experience with them, and I highly recommend them. I normally have a cynical view about recruitment services but have nothing but good things to say about EdEx, in particular George.

It took a week from me first messaging them to them securing an interview with a school which matched all my criteria. It was clear from the get go that George had actually read my CV in detail and had listened to and understood my requirements during the initial interview. Not only this this, but he also had a good knowledge of local schools and their hiring processes and requirements in detail. At no point was I pressured to make any decisions and was treated as a person throughout (which was hugely appreciated coming off the back of a stressful PGCE year).

I've since recommended them to many of my teacher friends.

I spoke to George a few terms before I handed in my notice. He really look the time to listen to what I was looking for, understand the role I was currently in, and get to know me. Honestly the whole recruitment service was 10/10. It was smooth from the get-go. EdEx made the process of applying, interviewing and looking for a new role seem less. Everyone at the company is really friendly and well organised, I never had to chase anything or wait for a response. I ended up securing a really exciting new role that I am really pleased about. If I was going to go through the recruitment process again I would always go to EdEx.

I can’t recommend EdEx enough. Having looked for jobs in education over the last few months, I came across EdEx and within a week I had found the perfect role and school for me. The team are hugely supportive and I can’t thank Ryan and the rest of the EdEx team enough! Highly recommend!

Josh was incredibly helpful during the whole process. Helped maximise my chances of getting a role and was incredibly respondent to any of my questions or requests.

Both Ryan and Joe went above and beyond to secure me a teaching role for September. After an initial setback and some intensive prep, it turned out that the perfect role was waiting for me at the first school we initially discussed. Josh was amazing throughout the whole process of helping me successfully acquire a job. He was happy to answer any questions I had and kept me informed with the whole process. Thanks to his support I landed the job. I couldn’t recommend him more highly!

Really wanted to trust the reviews for this one but unfortunately despite it initially seeming really positive and being promised a job, I was ghosted after paying £65 for a DBS (which is more than they cost!) and despite following up repeatedly I have heard nothing since December.

I actually have confirmation they lie about the jobs as I have contacts high up in one of the schools and although the recruiter said had a job open, this job never existed and they were not looking for anyone to fill any roles even remotely similar!

Furthermore, communication was terrible after the first two meetings. They really load it all on initially, contact you minutes after you apply and schedule a meeting for that week and a follow up for the next week. After this? Radio silence. There was another meeting scheduled, but George missed the call. I was contacted by someone else after following up, but they were unhelpful and also stopped communicating.

Also, one of the references I put down said that she’d been getting spammed with messages from them even as little as a day after receiving the initial reference request.

All around terrible service, I wasted time and money and hope on this company based on the reviews and I am so disappointed.

Through EdEx, I secured a position as an MFL teacher for this September, and I couldn’t be happier. George was knowledgeable, communicative, and supportive throughout my contact with him. His guidance and attention to my situation was invaluable, especially when quick decisions were needed. I feel that his advice on the interview process and positive approach played a huge part in helping me find a school that I am genuinely excited to join. I am very grateful for all his support and would highly recommend EdEx to anyone looking for a teaching post.

Honestly awful recruitment service. Spoke to someone named Ryan ages ago, then he parred me off to someone named Joe, Joe helped for a little and then I had to chase in order to be remembered.

I feel like they have big talk on LinkedIn etc but when it comes to actually helping they don’t. I feel like it was directly not helping someone like me and I did take it personally but who knows. They just give big talk without any action.
