I applied for a TA job via indeed on a Sunday. By the Monday, I had been contacted by the lovely Alex. He is outgoing, bubbly and professional, making me feel very comfortable in the job searching process. He contacted me explaining the job I applied for and another potential job in more detail. He answered all my questions promptly and efficiently.

Alex contacted me again the next day to offer me a trial day at the school of the TA job. He explained everything that was expected of me, including dress code and the structure of the day.

I had a wonderful trial day, and I was offered the job starting in September. Alex has been in regular contact, answering any further questions and setting up paperwork.

He has been brilliant liaising with myself and the school, and I am very grateful for his constant effort and support.

I’m very happy with the support I had from Josh Haynes at EdEx. I signed up to another agency prior to EdEx and they made me complete all these forms and do a virtual interview for my profile and then I didn’t hear back from them. I was glad I found EdEx after as I had a much smoother experience.

During my initial call with Josh he really took the time to listen to what I wanted out of the role and what my end goal was. With that in mind Josh found me a role that I’d never heard of before so I was a bit sceptical but it met my specific requirements.

Josh informed me of the role on a Wednesday, I was offered an interview on Thursday, had the interview and Friday and got the job on the following Monday. I was in shock! The role was also permanent and salaried which was fantastic because I initially sent my CV for a contract role that had weekly pay.

Although I only had a day for interview prep, Josh really supported me through this as he sent me a lot of resources. I truly appreciated this.

All in all I would definitely recommend Josh from EdEx to anyone I know that is looking for a job in the education sector.

I initially spoke with Becca who was a great in discussing and understanding my situation and giving me confidence with the process in finding a teaching role.
