I attended the doctor.ie In swords co Dublin today , Dont get me wrong this is a good service , only I was left waiting almost 25 mins to see a doctor with no one in with them , Found the lady Indian doctor a little rude if im being honest , little disappointed with such a good service

Three different occasions, a different doctor each time I used this clinic in the space on a month, constantly fobbed around, being given meds that were not actually dealing with my problem. So I had to keep going back, 185 euro I have spent going to this absolute scam of a practice!! 25 euro I was charged for a nebuliser yesterday ( one that I didn't ask for might I add ) because the doctor literally did not have a clue, eventually just got told to go to A&E because the doctor was just looking at me so clueless?? I had to google to make sure he was actually qualified, surprisingly he is. Absolute scam racket, they make it seem like they are so great and convenient compared to your GP! 30 minutes I was waiting in the waiting room, no one ahead of me, and no one in with the doctor, receptionist in and out and they laughing and giggling between them, and I was treated like such an inconvenience when I was eventually called in. It was clear the doctor was just on his phone not a care in the world, because even when I was in there his phone was still vibrating away on the table so its obvious you dont have their full attention!! NEVER AGAIN!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF GIVE YOU WRONG MEDS NOT ACTUALLY TREAT THE PROBLEM SO YOU HAVE TO KEEP COMING BACK!!! THIS WAS IN GALWAY

I am extremely disappointed with the level of care and professionalism I received from this practice.

During a visit, the nurse attempted to take my blood three times unsuccessfully and eventually had to call a doctor for assistance. The doctor offered no practical help, even though it was clear the nurse was fairly new, which left me feeling uncomfortable and poorly cared for.

Shortly after this appointment, the practice closed permanently without any notice to patients. Some time later, I managed to speak with a doctor by phone regarding the stress I was experiencing due to work, and I was advised to take sick leave. I followed this medical advice and went on leave.

When I later requested a routine extension of my medical certificate for stress leave, I was told it could not be issued without a physical examination. However, the nearest available practice is now two hours away, making this requirement unreasonable given the circumstances and my condition. It is also unusual to require a physical check for stress-related leave, especially when continuity of care was disrupted by the practice’s closure.

Despite having a call scheduled to discuss this further, no call ever took place, and my follow-up messages have gone unanswered. I feel there has been a complete lack of communication, support, and duty of care throughout this process.

Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

Kilkenny Dooctors experience, firstly the place looks thrown together cheaply! Receptionist, although kind and trying her best lacks experience and professionalism, For Example I could overhear other patient's phonecalls from where I was sat waiting.

Two doctors in office, both uninterested and quick to temper and became irritated when I had questions!

Prescription not sent to Pharmacy, had to return to Receptionist who asked what medication was prescribed to me on the script in front of the whole waiting room, I was embarrassed for her and all there!

Look if you need a quick Prescription for symptom/pain relief or a cert for work it's grand but do not expect a thorough or professional service! Avoid if possible! Dopesick vibes sadly.

Great experience with dr hashish

Filled out a consultation for chest infection. Went down to pick up prescription. Absolutely off the wall what was in it - anti allergy tablets (???), cough medicine, paracetamol, amoxicillin (for an 8 day old chest infection!) and steroids.Why paracetamol and cough medicine would be put on a prescription is beyond me. Would never use this service again.

The online doc service is a farce. Do not use this company! They are not dealing with a backlog, they are understaffed. Then the rubbish excuses… just use another service…

Awful experience, booked my phone consultation for 10.15 after calling twice eventually got a call at 12.00. Doctor told me not to take the antibiotic for 2 more days despite having told him I had a long haul flight in 2 days, and that’s why I had called them. Eventually got the antibiotic, but when I went to the pharmacy it wasn’t there and they had no record of it. They sent the prescription to a pharmacy in Dublin, I live in Clare!! Shocking service, will not be using it again.

Had a UTI it's impossible to get appointment with my GP. Got prescription in no time. It's amazing service

Dooctor Carrigtwohill: Rude, arrogant, goddess complex of a receptionist. With an air of misery and poor excuse of a human being.

I arrived with my son at18.35, 25 mins before they close. I was told 4 people were ahead of us and we could not be seen. We were advised to use the online service and get a telephone consult.
We completed the online form paid the fee and never got any consult. We callled back in to the clinic to ask how long we should expect to wait, they had no more patients at 18.50 (could have seen us) and told us we would have max 45 min wait. I’ll be seeking a refund as we had to go to ShannonDoc in the end. They only charge after they have given the consult! This online service is shocking, like a scam! We never got the consult we paid for

I attended the new GP service in Waterford City, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Anwar Raja, whom I previously attended in another practice, he is an exceptional GP, very thorough and such a lovely man, The whole experience was seamless, from meeting the lovely receptionist, I walked in as couldn't get an appointment with my own GP at such short notice, I got my script sent to pharmacy below the practice which made it even better, such a brilliant service and great team.🙂

Scam! Very unprofessional and poor behavior of Dr.Sally, very bad knowledge and not having proper experience at all. i wouldn't recommend them absolutely to nobody! Stay away as much as you can, there are so many better local Irish doctors in the town. You will just waste your money.

Brilliant service. Used both walk-in clinic in Athlone and their online doctor at separate occasions. Both very quick and easy services and was able to collect my prescriptions straight away from my local pharmacy.

It's been several weeks, and multiple visits, and I still DON'T know what's wrong with me. I also don't know what I should be doing going forward.....I'm STILL in serious pain!! They are refusing to give me my scan results which I have already paid for (€305) on top of the €120 I paid this "doctor". Please heed these reviews.... Check the other reviews who went through the same experience as me. Avoid at all costs.....or you'll spend money for no reason, with no recourse

I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with Dr. Sabrina in Limerick. I came in for a simple consultation to get a prescription reissued and was charged €50 ($80 CAD), only to be given a prescription that multiple pharmacists later told me was written incorrectly and couldn’t legally be filled.

When I contacted the doctor’s office to fix the issue, I was brushed off with a vague “we’ll pass it on,” and no real sense of urgency—despite the fact that I rely on this medication and can’t just stop taking it. It was incredibly stressful, and completely avoidable had the prescription been written properly in the first place.

Beyond that, the consultation itself was unprofessional and uncomfortable. Dr. Sabrina was dismissive of my existing diagnosis of anorexia, even though it’s formally documented. She acted as though she didn’t believe me, which was hurtful and demeaning. She also seemed unsure about basic details of the medication, like what was written on my previous prescription, which didn’t inspire confidence.

I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone, especially those dealing with ongoing health issues. It felt careless, unkind, and unprofessional.

I had to visit the Limerick clinic with my 84 year old Mother in law on last Sunday afternoon. The receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.
The doctor was really pleasant , she put my Mother in law at ease , and took time to get her full medical history. She wrote a letter for the Emergency department in the hospital as my mother in law needed to be admitted. I would 100% recommend this clinic .

Professor Ray Mc Dermott should be struck off. He is arrogant and unhelpful. He dismisses patient concerns without explanation or hesitation. He was outed in recent years as a tax dodger when Revenue levied back taxes and fines for over 1 million euro. No doubt he will avail of his gold plated public sector medical consultants pension while attempting to avoid paying his share of income tax

I was recently seen at Dooctor.ie in Sligo and had an excellent experience. The Dr. Hana was very friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. Everything was quick, smooth, and easy. I really appreciate the kind and efficient care. Thank you for the great service!
