Having had exceptionally bad service from an estate agency, a friend suggested going to Auction.
I'm so glad I did. The service I received was amazing. James was friendly , professional and above all else honest. He gave an honest appraisal , he kept me in the loop he was extremely informative throughout the process. I genuinely cannot recommend highly enough. The rest of the team were equally helpful

The whole process, from meeting Bryony at the house for the initial valuation, to James selling the house on the day was as smooth as it could possibly be! I was kept up to date throughout with the number of registered bidders and interest in the house. Bryony is lovely and very professional, a pleasure to deal with. James was brilliant on the day and the price achieved far exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend AHWY enough.

We were a bit apprehensive about going to auction, but following discussions with my sister in law we decided to sell the property this way for several reasons.

- the traditional route was stalled because of unreasonable demands of the various mortgage providers.
- the quick completion time following the sale was attractive because the house is empty and another winter would not have helped its general state of repair
- with regards to Jamie Fraser (Auction House Manchester) we can’t thank him enough for the support and quality of service through the whole process.

The process all worked well. Melanie Vaughn was excellent throughout, nursing everything along when there were potential delays due to late arrival of certain documents from the vendor’s side. Empathetic and professional, she is an asset to the auctioneer. No issues at all.

We would like to thank Romilly for helping us with our first auction purchase. She was quick to respond to our queries and very friendly.

We had an issue with the seller's solicitor being unresponsive after an error in their documents was raised, but Romilly chased them multiple times, keeping us in the loop with all replies/progress, which was much needed in such a stressful situation. Doing this, she also enabled us to complete a week earlier.

We hope the house we have purchased is our forever home, but if not, we would definitely be looking at properties available via Auction House due to their support and fantastic communication throughout the process.
