Great price for comprehensive policy

Great price for comprehensive policy to travel to Caribbean (older couple). Able to choose the level of cover for lots of different elements. Unfortunately, fell quite ill and was hospitalised for two nights. First travel insurance claim for over 30 years! Axa in the UK handled the claim direct with the hospital, dealt with all the payments. It was a marvelous service, great to be able to phone someone and get through straightway. claim settled without us getting involved at all. Axa were just great, helpful, professional and very speedy service. Will definitely use Leisure Guard again.

Woolwich waves is a great place

Woolwich waves is a great place. Spacious, clean and welcoming. Plenty of staff although maybe not in the gym a lot of the time. We are happy with the cost of our memberships which suits us. There does seem to have been a mass drive to recruit members because the gym can be so packed you cannot use the equipment you want. The use of the pool by school groups is great except they are given three-quarters of the pool and day time swimmers are squashed in thin lanes, not a great experience. Lockers and toilets plentiful. It might become necessary to return to bookings for sessions but that never worked at the Waterfront.

Very easy to get quotes

Very easy to get quotes, lots of information stored for automatic use again really helpful. Newer companies now featured most of which get really good reviews on Trustpilot so moved to some different providers.

Could not fault the booking process over the phone

Great experience throughout booking. Got the tailore made multi centre holiday we wanted but even better. Flights trains transfers hotels all done super fast. Given options to choose from. Could not fault the booking process just waiting for our holiday. Thanks to Sally great job.

Great range and website is great, bare root plants not so good

Great range and website is great. so much choice and good value offers. Ordered five strawberry bare root plants but two failed to make it out of the box, were so fragile just disintegrated once the band was removed. The other 3 have one leaf each. Have ordered more elsewhere. Postage a bit high.

Huge range of options and price points. Great choices. Very easy to buy and book. Costings can sometimes be a bit misleading but just check what is on offer. Had some great experiences but usually around dining offers and new locations to try.

Really easy good service to use

Received the auto renewals quotes for car and building/contents insurances. All details were accurate and updated and prices were excellent. Only went for buildings/contents as car insurance renewal with the same company was more competitive and best terms. Really easy good service to use.

Offered the best flight options

Found the location and hotel we wanted with several companies, all with their different advantages - luggage included, able to book private transfers, etc. Prices vary quiet a lot for the same holiday mainly seems to be down to the suitability of flight times. Managed to find the holiday we wanted at the price we wanted and the flight options were the best of all the companies. Easy for us to be able to choose any dates so that helps. Website booking is very easy and very versatile.

Easy to order, good prices. They called to say one of the items was no longer is stock even though website said 197 in stock. Quickly cancelled missing item and other items received next day.

Very different shop from the past

Very different shop from the past. Not so many staff, prices can be incredibly high. Department on second floor at Bluewater was freezing, air conditioning on ridiculously high. Did buy very nice items so pleased with purchases, just not the environment it used to be. And just remember that the worst thing is cannot return items if you change your mind as will only issue you with a credit note.

Very useful card to have

Very useful card to have. Recent problem with expired card/activating new card. Difficult to contact at first - only live chat and emails (which has a backlog) but Hollie has now agreed to sort it all out for me. Will continue to use when abroad as feels secure for me.

Update on review from 13th February - Do not buy in store - bought gift for granddaughter but she already had the same item and has chosen another gift from JD Sports instead. Took jumper back to store to have cashier point out small plaque on counter that says can only return if faulty. Offered a £40 gift card in return. I do not want to buy anything else from Sports direct but they still have my £40. Was informed if purchase on line you can actually change your mind as long as you pay for delivery and then pay to return. Avoid - only buy if you are certain you cannot do without the item as once you leave the store it will always be yours.

This simply does not help at all. I do not need or want anything else from Sports Direct. Never heard of another retailer preventing their customers from being able to change their minds. Recently returned items to M&S and Next without any trouble. They now have £40 of my money.
