Convenient location and easy process

Convenient location and process is so easy to collect parcels - simply scan the QR code in the email from your phone and wait for the door to open (which one will it be? is a fun game!).

Delicious meals + Simple prep = Healthier me!

I have not been moved to try meals delivered to my door before, until I saw an advert on social media for Planthood. The meals looked so appetising, I thought I would give it a go. I have been so impressed with them. The meal bag includes all ingredients, as well as a delicious chef-prepared sauce. A QR code for the recipe is on the bag label sticker - simply scan with a phone camera app to open (or go to their website to see the menu from there). Every meal has been easy and quick to put together. The method is always straightforward and simple to read.
I have suffered with chronic pain for 2 years and the right meds along with Planthood's delicious diet has meant I have been pain-FREE for two months! I have lost weight and feel much better in myself.
I love this company's ethos and cannot express how much I am grateful I tried the meals. Thank you!

On time but couldn't reach parcel!

Delivered on time = great but parcel was pushed right to back of locker. Unhelpful. Being 5 foot nothing, I couldn't reach. Only got out by asking a (taller) stranger to get for me.

Parcel pushed to very back of low down compartment. I struggled to get it out. Other than that, fine.

Great customer care and very comfy sofa!

Spotted a sofa we liked on our last visit to the Barnstaple store and went back for a serious look! We spoke with David, who is great at answering questions honestly, without a 'hard sell'.
He also measured the sofa for us so we could check the dimensions at home and also informed us about extra insurance cover offered (we have pets, including a very excitable puppy!).
The easy-care fabric is just what we wanted and the payment plans offered are very good with 0% interest. We have chosen this option and are now counting down the weeks to getting our brand new sofa!

So much to see

Only went for a browse in the Barnstaple store! Such a great array of pictures, lamps and accessories for making a house a home. Some lovely furniture too. Spoke with Paul J who kindly measured up a wardrobe for me. Very good customer service. Added delivery to home address for £50 and this service was excellent. Very efficient, all staff respected our property and brought furniture up into the room. Can't wait to shop there again!

Star Movers with Excellent Customer Care

Mike and Ricky in the office were so obliging with our quote. I asked if two smaller moves would be possible to quote for, as well as one move from Tiverton to Barnstaple (3 bed to 3 bed. They were very happy to help. Both quotes were fairly priced. We decided on two smaller moves and we're booked in on a day that suited us for the first move.
Ross and Delvin helped us with the actual move and they were absolutely superb! Nothing was too much trouble and they were a very entertaining double act! They were also amazingly quick, despite Ross having a bad knee. Most big furniture pieces were taken in 1 go (i.e. drawers kept in sideboards/bedside tables) - very handy at the end house. However they also happily dis-assembled our massive bedframe and sofa AND reassembled the sofa once delivered.
Thoroughly appreciate West Country Movers' excellent customer care and personalised service: Highly recommended.

Impressive commitment to solving our installation issues

When the engineer couldn't solve our out-of-date cabling problems, a BT specialist engineer was called out. A couple of existing issues meant a delay to having service installed (e.g. not gaining permission from an adjacent property to access our cables) but the customer service team and the BT engineer were persistent in resolving the problem and it was sorted very quickly. Excellent communications all the way through.

Excellent Quality Photobook

Worked for a long time on a photobook. No problems saving work - which I was worried about! End result was brilliant - exceeded expectations with printed quality and clarity. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Very Disappointed

Holiday cottage was not cleaned to Covid-19 standards. Came home 3 days into week-long booking.
My feedback was never followed up on. No reply at all from Sykes personally just automated messages saying they may be in touch.
Very disappointing.

Excellent efficent, clear, honest service

Very efficent; my car was admitted immediately and inspected. I was told I needed 2 new tyres and the staff clearly explained what tyre date code stamps were to me. I hadnt heard of these before. I feel angry because I have only recently bought my car (elsewhere) and was told the front tyres were new. This appears not to be the case! Thank you to your friendly, approachable, knowledgeable team. I would highly recommend you.
