Battery swapping service needs improvement

Battery swapping staff are not able to fulfil the promise on the website:.This what is says: The number one reason for getting your car battery professionally fitted is that in most start-stop cars, a new battery will need to be paired with the car’s onboard computer before it will work properly. This requires the use of an iMAT tool, which is a special piece of equipment that you’re not likely to have to hand.
Also, if your new car battery hasn’t been paired correctly with your onboard computer, then you run the risk of the start-stop function not working at all, increased emissions, greater fuel consumption and non-critical vehicle systems shutting down.

Does the job

I'm going to say that I have read all the negative reviews and I understand why some purchasers are disappointed. I've given it 3 stars because it does record activity at the door and the picture quality is OK. It does require recharging every 10 days or so, but the app works and the annual charge (despite being unexpected) is reasonable at £36. I did wait a long time for it to arrive but the postman did eventually deliver it. I received mine in October

A prompt and painless service

A prompt and painless service. Deal agreed in two swift text messages and the bike was collected two days later. Aaron, the pick-up person, dealt with the DVLA details and payment transfer. Glad I found on the motortradeteam internet.

Attention to detail

The turn-around time of several days for single vision lenses is very impressive. I appreciated a callback concerning the add-value for reading and intermediate glasses. Having liased with the Spex4Less, I team now have pair for the computer that precisely fits my distance from the screen - the high street optician's guess was far from satisfactory. All that for an amazingly inexpensive price!

The best full fibre service in Marlow.

I've been with Swish since the early days. The best full fibre service in Marlow. 400mb/s was promised and that's what I generally get. It was useful to have the Swish shop in town but I understand why it closed after a couple of years once the roll-out was complete. The online support is fast to respond. My modem broke once but I had a replacement delivered within a couple of hours. I haven't taken up the VOIP offering yet but I be prepared to trial it, if an offer was available.

Almost perfect

I enjoy the speed and the reliability as well as the excellent customer support but I'm withholding the final 5th star until the VOIP system is finally available. I was told Spring 2022 but there's no sign of it yet. I'd like to finally ditch the BT landline.

Great place, great people

My 2018 Golf had its 4th year major service in October. All done in a couple of hours but I had neglected to say that I wanted the MOT too. It was included in the service plan that I'd bought but nevertheless I felt a bit stupid for not specifying it - but the team pulled out all the stops and got it back in the workshop and all sorted in 30 mins. Brilliant!

After an offer from SAGA which was £132…

After an offer from SAGA which was £132 higher than what they charged me last year, I turned to WHICH and got the LV recommendation. It so happened that LV was the underwriter for my SAGA insurance.

I entered all my details online and received an offer of £253 inc.extra legal and hire car and NCD protection. I accepted.

OK - I'm a new customer with LV so i hope that it wasn't an artificially tempting quote because I accepted and I'll be back next year, if it stay competitive.

Unwashed for 3 years - you wouldn't know it !

I had my car Gardexed 3 years ago when I bought it new and I don't think I've washed it since. When it rains i wipe it down and Gardex does the rest. It looks like it has just been waxed and polished

I finally visited the branch in Marlow…

I finally visited the branch in Marlow because my wife said some good things about it. I was given a very thorough eye test which, for an extra £10, included the machine for inspecting your retina. I'd had a macular hole repaired in the last few months and I was surprised that an optician would have the same machine that I had encountered in hospital. The young lady who analysed the images was very knowledgable. Choosing and later fitting glasses was equally trouble free. I'd like to commend Caine, Jess and Ilana for their role in various parts of the process.

All the latest tech

I was impressed that my Marlow branch had the same instrument for taking a picture of my retina as the ophthalmology unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. The optometrist was able to interpret it authoritatively. OK - it cost an extra £10 on top of the eye-test fee but I have undergone a repair for a macular hole and the reassurance I received was well worth it. Also the field vision machine was able to conduct the test far faster than the usual devices that I have experienced elsewhere. I ordered a new pair of variofocals with tailormade lenses. The measurements were also made with some clever tech on a tablet software. An altogether swift and confidence-inspiring visit.

Enjoyed a swish SWISH install

Enjoyed a swish SWISH install today at the hands of Fahmy, Damien and Ed, a very efficient and well coordinated triumvirate of engineers They had the system up and running within a couple of hours with neatly laid cables inside and out and a working wifi mesh. Thanks lads!

I'd forgotten what proper customer service from a utility provider was like ...

I am at the pre-installation phase but I have been very pleased by the response from SWISH. The local team listened to my queries and concerns about losing the landline and quickly came up with a solution to meet my conerns and to ease the transition to full fibre.

The real revelation is having a SWISH office in my local town centre where you can speak to real people and get information and answers on the spot. Try that with BT - endless button pressing and referral to FAQ pages that are too general to be useful.

A return customer and very happy once again

I am a regular client of goggles4u. have received 2 more pairs in recent weeks made to an old prescription that I tweaked following a cataract operation.
