Chaotic software results in wasteful phone call

Chaotic software resulting in nearly 1 hour on phone. AXA email sent ,e to web page, saying my direct debit details had changed 9they hadn't - AXA no longer accept bank direct debits!!). My account would be 'expired' (English?). Phone agent tried to take a credit card (via phone keyboard). Failed 3 times. Then tried to set up new account, was half way through, phone call cut off ... no call back. Decided to try again online (with same credit card). What a waste of everyone's time. Does not someone test this before putting into action? PS Agent pleasant, but just 'obeying orders' from his screen.

Renewal quotation arrives, but ...

Renewal quotation arrives, but .. no indication until last moment of the large processing fee (about £70). Never had this from any other commercial transaction.

Chaotic waiting area for coach

Chaotic waiting area for coach. Single notice on board ('Delayed) but no indication of the time. Doors to coaches left open with people going in and out (our coach?). Small First Express person shouted something in front of 40 people - very few heard or understood what she said. Just like airlines - the vehicle is very modern - the human organisation is storage.

Not allowed to board bus for low tech reason

Not allowed to board bus because I did not have the physical Senior Card (despite a high resolution scan on my phone clearly indicating name/ID number/DoB/address). Driver insisted on imposing the 'letter' of the regulations - because he 'might' get in trouble. Info agent (3 metres from bus) gave me phone number to call to ssesolve problem, but no answer after 14 minutes and coach left).

Thank you for your 3-star review. I am sorry to learn that you were refused the travel by the driver due to failure to show the physical coach card.

I can understand you had the scanned version but as per our conditions of carriage, when travelling on our services, you will be required to show your Ticket, together with your physical Coachcard, to the driver when boarding one of our coaches.

We currently do not have the e-coachcard option but I am sure in the future it will be helpful to avoid similar incidents. Please feel free to send us an email if you wish to raise this concern with our team https://www.nationalexpress.com/en/help/contact

Although I left a poor review 3 days ago, the company has since apologised and quickly refunded me, with a promise to improve their service. So will give them a 2nd chance!

Useless, and forced to use another service.

Useless - I had to quickly book another service (called Bounce). No sign from the street of Nannyback (had to go behind a building to find a small door - and it was called by a different name - StorageBox). Closed and locked door - no indication in app or email what I was supposed to do. Phone number in app did not function, so tried 0800 number on door. No answer so left a message. Given 2 stars because they called me back - but could not resolve problem. My first and last time with this company.

Disappointed that I still seem to know…

Disappointed that I still seem to know more about the technology which can help a patient than this service. An example - I am using fully the services of the Apple Health app, including the ECG writ band from Kardia (I have a heart problem). Both the headquarters (in London) and the GP I visited listened politely and did nothing, despite repeated proposals to meet and demonstrate 'real life' experience. I feel it is a slightly 'privatised' version of the NHS. If something genuinely proactive does not happen before my subscription ends, I will return to the NHS (the biggest purchasers of fax machines in the world!).

Quick, clear transaction

Web application reasonably quick, with confirmation emails following shortly after. Provided that any possible future claim is met efficiently, I would recommend this company.

Fast, knowledgeable response for obscure part

I needed an obscure part which my local plumbers could not trace. When I called National Shower Spares, the first person I spoke to worked out the correct part I needed within 1 minute, and it arrived 2 days later.
A very impressive performance.

They did exactly what they proposed - simply and quickly

Once you are happy with the price they offer, they made it very simple to complete the few simple steps, and the payment was made just 3 days later.
The only reason you might hesitate to use their service is because you think you might get more on eBay etc. More hassle - but the choice is yours.
