The representative was patient and explained everything well when I renewed, but I was absolutely stunned to be paying approximately three times as much as when I last renewed for the same level of coverage with the same company. The reason was because Covid cover is included, but it still seemed incredibly expensive. On the positive side, we stick with Flexicover because of previous good service when we claimed when a woman jumped from our cruise ship and forced us to spend an extra night in a hotel and find a new flight because our ship had to delay getting to our final port. The fine print did not cover this "man overboard" situation, but Flexicover paid for our extra expenses anyway, which has turned us into loyal customers.
