Ripoff, about once every 10 years or so I purchase a lead referral system like this one, and kick myself for doing so. In 4 months I received one single lead (for vacant land) called the prospect immediately, the lady let me know 5 days previous she had received a call from another broker and had entered into an agreement with him.
Paid the company $575 for the $35 per lead tier. Guaranteed double vetted leads/ appointment. I received a total of 3 leads. 2 refused to speak to me and the other said he didn't request a meeting with an agent and he wasn't interested in moving. That was 3 months ago and I can't get a response from the company.
Zillist is a made up company that scams you for an upfront lump sum of money. Currently under investigation with the Better business Bureau and State Attorney Generals.
I was totally mislead by this company even the contract is a scam as it clearly states your deposit is fully refundable if you are not satisfied with leads generated. I have been with this apparent lead generating company since July 3rd, 2025 and have not recieved a single lead. I chose to go with a plan that would cover more area and negotiated a deal that I would give half the deposit upfront and the remainder after the 3 month trial period. I have sent a number of emails and text requesting my initial deposit be returned and no response except that leads are coming. I have been put in a position to report this company as a scam as I have not recieved any information regarding my deposit. My advise to any Realtors looking for a legitimate lead generating company stay away from Zillist they will scam you out of your money.
Signed up with Zillist on June 23, 2025. Absolutely no leads provided close to my area. I have called several times and they always make an excuse that they are working on trying to generate leads. I realize now that they had no leads in my area (which is a very viable real estate market as I have been selling here full time since 1995! ) They sign agents up and then try to generate leads vs already marketing this area and having a pipeline of leads in place. I feel like they have just scammed me.
Zillist has been great and is only getting better! Being licensed for 15 years, I value my relationships with referral partners, Zillist is an industry leader with the experience and processes in place to match me with quality leads in my territory. Tom is ready to help and answer any questions I have at any time.
Recall from my previous review - never got any more leads…for almost 4 months.

0 stars. Scam. Zillist breached our contract, according which they had to provide up to 6 leads per month and if I'm not satisfied during 90 days, I will get a full refund. They provided 1 fake and 1 rental (I don't even sign up for rentals) leads. After my request to refund my money after 90 days, they started playing games "give us another week, month... "you call wrong department" game, "you will get a refund"... but since May - no refund, they don't respond anymore...
8/6/25 I still did not receive refund (per contract)! Zillist do not return my calls nor emails.
Do not trust your money to Zillist. They do not deliver what was promised in the contract!
8/20/25 - Zillist does not respond and still did not refund the money, according to the Contract!
DO NOT TRUST your money and your business to Zillist

Legit, very first lead got in listing agreement. Not all leads are good, but that’s part of the business - Zillist does their part well.
