Have used this service twice to convert old cine film to digital, protecting it for the future.
The service is easy to use, efficient and very swift turn round.

Quick, took a few days, the video was 40 years old so I was pleased that it came out so well, it's not magic so the quality is terrible by today's standards but it's watchable and certainly better than I remember from watching it on a VCR.

Family members that have died and its been so special to shown to their great grandchildren

Very good. The tapes were not very good quality, but the reproductions were a bit better. Good show.

I have about 30 or more camcorder tapes going as far back as 1993. For many years I was meaning to have these transferred to usb to let my Grandchildren watch us and their Dad when they were children. Initially I sent 3 tapes to be converted. These were returned within a few days and it was great to relive old memories. I sent a further 7 tapes and again these were returned within one week. The tapes are not edited and will show the times when I was recording the ground where I had forgotten the the camera was recording. This did not detract from the enjoyment of watching my recordings. I would highly recommend Your Video 2 DVD to anyone and I will continue to send my remaining camcorder tapes for conversion.

Excellent personal service! This was the first time I'd looked for a VHS-to-DVD conversion provider; I easily found a number to choose from, with a wide variety of presentations and prices. 'Your Video 2 DVD' caught my eye as being less 'flashily' presented and offering a lower price. Normally I'd be wary of cheaper options, but after having my initial query answered quickly and helpfully I was well reassured and placed my order.
On a Monday I sent the tape by Royal Mail - on Friday it was back with the three DVD copies I'd requested!
Better still, they played perfectly; I'd say in better quality than the previous 40-year old combination of tape and VHS player. What's more to say than "great service and great value - many thanks!"

Quick delivery and good value

Quick service, professional and I got exactly what I needed. Was really happy with the whole experience.

Sent the ten hi8 video tapes away on the Thursday , they got them on Friday , copied and sent out on the Saturday recieved the dvds on the Monday.
The only way to better the service would have been to allow me to hand deliver the tapes and pick them up.

Transferring my videos was quick and easy. I haven't managed to check each one, but what I have reviewed so far is very good, especially as a couple of them were originally on 35 mm film from the 1920s and had already been transferred onto video from that. So I wasn't expecting miracles! But it's good to have ready access to all those memories. Even the Royal Mail managed to return the parcel okay – I was a little bit worried when I saw that was the courier being used, but I'm glad to say it was successful.

Ian was extremely helpful whilst I was arranging the sale; the recordings arrived quickly and were of very high quality. Ian also generously provided extra copies. I would most definitely use this service again and thoroughly recommend it.
