It was brought to our attention by an estate agent of this company that did Shared ownership for any property on the open market so we actually didn’t use that estate agent and found a home that we loved on Rightmove which was actually built in the 90s, I thought that all shared ownership would only specalise in newbuilds! I for one much prefer “2nd hand homes” than new builds so that was already a massive plus for me but to then find the “your home” so extremely helpful from start to finish was the icing on the cake. From initial phone calls for just questioning to completion they were just excellent each representative that I spoke to made you feel like nothing was a silly question and nothing was too much to ask and it really was just as good as it sounded. No “hidden catches”. Thank you to your home once again for making a home possible to me that I didn’t think could be!

We are so pleased to have bought our first house through heylo housing. We were looking for sharia compliant way of home ownership and didn't want to get a mortgage. When I called heylo housing, Emma answered all my questions and guided me throughout the process. The best part of this scheme is that we were able to choose any property on the open market and convert it into shared ownership. As we managed to arrange a large deposit, we didn't need to get any mortgage to buy our share. This means we are only paying rent on the remaining share which is affordable. We are able to staircase, until eventually we own the 100% of the house. The whole process took around 3 months. I found Heylo very accessible. Emma provided update every week and kept the ball rolling. This is a brilliant scheme for people like us who are looking to own their own house but don't want to get a mortgage. Buying through Heylo was easy and quick. I thought the shared ownership was means tested and affordable housing. I had no idea they offered a shared ownership scheme which benefited people in employment. I took this scheme instead of a mortgage as the repayments were cheaper and The scheme allowed you to staircase the purchase to eventually own 100% of your own home. You have the ability of paying off chance of the part that you don’t own which made it very appealing to me. From starting to finish the whole process only took 12 weeks. Heylo were efficient at all times. Again I had no idea this scheme was available and no idea that it could apply to any house not just the house that we saw advertised on. But Heylo were very helpful and talked us through every step of the way I can’t fault them at all. Such an affordable option to home ownership

I had come out of a divorce, sold our family home and needed a home and security. Without this company (Your Home) I do not know how I would have afforded the monthly mortgage payment the lenders were asking.

Camilla was my contact person/case worker throughout the whole process. She was a gem. She was always ready and willing to answer any questions or queries. To my amazement the whole process took less than 12 weeks. I keep pinching myself to make sure I’m not dreaming. It is real, I have my own home.
Camilla was the warmest person to talk to. I enjoyed her wittiness and her professionalism. She is the kind of person you feel as if you have known for a long time. That is how comfortable she made me feel.

Heylo housing just take take take your money, put your rent up, service charge, building maintenance up… but when it comes to cleaning of the communal areas, lighting in the carparks, they don’t want to know. False promises about getting it cleaned and maintained but why should we pay more when this isn’t done!

We have an excellent experience with Heylo to move up the property ladder and get our first family home. We were looking for a non interest based Sharia compliant option. After a thorough research of available options in the market, we found Heylo’s part buy part rent Sharia compliant scheme to be the best option for us.

Myself and my partner had been saving to try and buy a house for years. We’re both self employed singers and mortgage companies kept turning us away.
