I am very happy with the support I received from Young Writers. I missed the permission deadline for my daughter’s work, but the team responded very quickly, professionally, and kindly, and reassured me that her work will still be published. Thank you Gemma!

Young Writers gives our GCSE retake students the opportunity to have their voices heard, to build their confidence in writing, and to raise their self esteem. The variety of themes that Young Writers share means there's something for everyone and students can interpret the given themes in ways that are personal to them. The Young Writers team are very approachable, friendly, and quick to respond. I would recommend Young Writers to all educational providers!

The school had mixed my son’s work up but Aaliyah was amazing and rectified everything, the service was amazing.

We received a letter stating that our child’s drawing had been selected for inclusion in a competition, with the opportunity to be featured in a published book. The letter encouraged us to go online and provide “permission,” however it did not clearly explain that this process involved a payment.

We found the wording misleading and felt the approach was quite aggressive from a marketing perspective, particularly as it appears to target parents. Greater transparency upfront would make a significant difference.

After proceeding, the overall experience on the website was disappointing. We encountered technical issues, including the image not loading properly during submission. In addition, once the initial payment (referred to as “permission”) was completed, we were prompted again for further payments, which added to the frustration.

Overall, the process felt unclear and poorly executed, both in communication and user experience.

The children loved taking part in this opportunity and look forward to seeing their work published.
