Terrible experience

Food was so mid, after are order didn’t go though after already waiting 20 minutes. We were told our order hadn’t been acknowledged , 30 minutes later I received my 6 piece chicken nuggets. Eaten after 5 minutes and waited for almost an hour. Not even an apology. Wendy’s Exeter do better..

Good and great service

Visited the Wendy’s in Wood Green today, very nice and clean, lovely atmosphere. Fantastic service, lovely food and huseyin, who served us, was brilliant. Very nice lad, very respectful. Great experience, thank you Wendy’s.

Declining Cleanliness and Beverage Quality

I'm not sure if all Wendy's locations are the same, but the one location in Myrtle-Ridgewood has not met my expectations during my recent visits. The soda fountain area has been noticeably unclean and poorly maintained, with spilled drinks left unattended.

Additionally, not all beverage options are consistently available, and when they are, the drinks often seem overly diluted, lacking the expected flavor. This has been disappointing and has negatively impacted my overall experience

DREADFUL AWFUL PLACE NEW STORE EXETER MARSH BARTON...AVOID
The marsh barton one in Exeter is verv POOR, first time there, filthy dirty place tables uncleared not wiped and food on floor. Toilets disgusting. they missed large parts of my order, i got half the food i ordered. I also waited an hour at the counter. All cold by the time the other items added. Staff are rude unfriendly. Overpriced food and low quality £30 for a couple of burgers and soggy chips. and Wendy's has blocked all the local traffic because the drive thru gueues outside pure chaos. back up alf a mile down the road... Also the location not on the app. Three ordering machines out of order! Won't be back, going to Mcdonalds

Wendys Exeter

Thought I'd give it a try but was quite disappointed. Burger was a double, a bit like a whopper, but the square shape is just a gimmick as the burger itself had no substance, no bite or chew. Just dissolving into lumpy beef paste. Burger was same price as a BK double whopper, but basically slop. Nice staff and atmos though doesn't look like a prison canteen like McDonald's so that's a positive. Avoid if you want a good burger, there are better options.

Portion size

The size of the salads have gotten significantly SMALLER! It’s very disappointing paying all of that money for something not worth it.

Created duplicate order instead of making change in existing order.

I ordered a Wendy's double and a chili tonite and changed the double to a triple when I got the notice that I could still make changes. But instead of integrating the triple into the existing order, the Wendy's/GrubHub system created a duplicate order. So I received an order I didn't want yet was charged for. I called Grubhub customer service and they said they couldn't refund me for the duplicate order because I had already received it.Huh?

Unprofessional management

March 12, 2026 between 12pm to 1pm I ordered a Dave’s combo and 10-piece chicken nuggets from Wendy's through Uber Eats. When the order arrived, the burger from the combo was missing, which meant I basically received fries and nuggets.
I called the delivery driver to let him know an item was missing. He said he didn’t know what to do but would call Uber Support. I never received a call back.
I then called the restaurant and spoke to the manager on duty. She said they had been “swamped” earlier and were trying to double-check orders, and she immediately knew I was calling about the missing burger. However, she did not apologize and told me my only options were to drive to the restaurant for a refund for the burger or drive there to pick up a replacement. Since I otherwise wouldn’t have had anything but fries to eat, I drove there to get the burger.
When I arrived, the parking lot had only a couple of cars and the dining room was empty, which made the “swamped” explanation questionable. I told the cashier I was there to pick up the burger that had been left out of my order. She took my receipt and quickly brought the burger out.
As I grabbed the bag and started to leave, the manager sarcastically said, “Well, have a good one!” I stopped and looked back, and she gave me a tight smile. The interaction felt completely unprofessional, especially considering the mistake originated with the restaurant.
My coworker and I ordered delivery because we didn’t have time to go out during work. Instead, I ended up driving to the restaurant anyway and returning to the office to eat my now cold fries and a cold burger.
Between the missing item, the lack of apology or accountability, and the sarcastic attitude from the manager, this was a very disappointing experience. I won’t be returning to this location, and I’ve also cancelled my Uber Eats account.

Not a great first impression of Wendy’s Exeter

We used the drive-thru which was fine as it was quick and easy to order, when we got the food it was hot and looked good however the burgers had no taste to them and were greasy. The kids meals were ok but no toy and poor options for drinks and the doughnuts had seasoning on which wasn’t advertised, £47 for 2 adults and 2 kids meals not the greatest and doubt we will be back.

Bland, over priced rubbish

My first ever trip to wendys with my 9yr old. Exeter new store. I wont be going back.
Firstly it's vastly over priced for the amount of food you get (or don't get). I had a jacket potato with chili and cheese etc. It was very tasty, but for nearly a fiver, the potato was about the size of half a tennis ball. Come on - potatoes cost next to nothing. I'd want at least 3 of these to make a standard sized dinner portion, and im not a big eater. That's an expensive meal.
My son had a double burger, I had a taste, and I could genuinely not taste any meat. It was packed with onions, pickles, different mayos or sauces etc, making a hell of a mess. How about just a burger, that tastes of meat? Burger king do it very well.
And the frosty? What a joke. For the same price as a mini Mcflurry, you get a junior frosty. About 3 spoon fulls of bland icy rubbish.
With mcdonalds opposite and burger king down the road, I know where ill be going in future. Good luck.

We went to Wendy’s in Exeter today. Long queue and waiting time but partly expected. Sadly when the food arrived it was lukewarm and my spicy chicken burger was missing the chicken. Very disorganised and lacking customer service

The marsh barton one in Exeter is very poor, i have been there twice, both times they missed large parts of my order, i got half the food i ordered. I also waited an hour in the drive thru and Wendy's has blocked all the local traffic because the ques back up half a mile down the street.

Absolute chaos! NO GO AREA!!

Marsh Barton, Exeter - absolutely awful location. So much traffic generated by this it is out of the area and down the main road with cars mounting pavements to get past - in both directions. Totally unable to access the gym, Consol or Starbucks. Plenty of car parking spaces available, you just can't get to them and when you finally do you can't get out because this drive thru traffic blocks all the junctions!!! Won't be visiting this area again. Why is there not someone from Wendys out there directing and managing the traffic queues they are creating and why was this allowed to happen anyway in such a small and already busy area?!!!!

Ordered a double stack

Ordered a double stack. Got a Jr bacon cheeseburger with tomatoes and lettuce. I hate tomatoes. "Large fry" box was half full. Also ordered a small and medium frosty for my friends. Both were smalls. I asked 2 staff who were outside smoking about the frostys, was told both are medium. Didn't know about the burger and fries until after I left. Needless to say, I wont be back.

Rude stuff wait 45 mins for the burger not to be cooked probably and all food cold waste of £60 for 4 of us absolutely rubbish gue out the door there was 8 of us who had cold food and now my husband got food poisoning wouldn't waste your money you should just go McDonald's

Never saw that coming

Never saw that coming - While I’ve never been a Wendy’s regular, I might now reconsider my Fast Food Restaurant of choice…. Thanks to Matt and his team for putting a smile on our faces. Common courtesy, a sense of humour and putting others before self is always a good recipe for success, and Matt (Brampton Hut Wendy’s) certainly gets our thumbs up - thank you

Ordered Payed but never got my food

Ordered 2 four count chicken tender meals from Wendy's Drive Thru paid and was told to pull ahead to wait. 20 minutes later still waiting. Walked inside, was nice waited through the line asked about my food the cashier just ignored me. Manager walked into the back. Walked around to the drive through and aske d what was going on. Never got the food I paid for now I need to dispute the charge. The best part was I called Wendy's 800 number and hit option 4 for a concern with a store and it just hangs up on you I tried 3 times. I hear Wendy's is having money problem from my experience they earn bankruptcy everyday.
