I picked Tuff Shed because one of my daughters has purchased two Tuff Sheds over the years. I want to mention Robert Kelly at the Riverside store. I went to the store on a Wednesday morning to order a shed. Robert showed me what was available and processed my order very efficiently. On my way home, the office called to schedule the installation for Thursday morning. The two installers came and did a great job of getting my shed finished and looking fantastic. This was one of my best decisions regarding sheds. I have had several sheds over the 46 years I have lived in my home!

I'm not happy with the install of my shed. I paid $200.00 for a man tuff shed recommended to level my spot. When he was finished it looked halfway decent. The guy that installed my shed put more blocks in and now its 8-9 inches off the ground. I wanted it to be as low as possible. I need the get a ramp just to put anything in it. I'm going to the BBB and see if I can get my $200 back since it was a waste of money to be leveled. I'm not a happy customer.

I purchased an 8x10 Premier Standard Ranch shed in September from the Mulberry Florida Dealer nearby. Leah in the sales department was very helpful and had extensive knowledge of the building industry. The set up team did a great job building the shed on site and the Tampa office was helpful with scheduling and permitting.

Had a 12x12 installed last November. After installing multiple counters and shelves discovered the shed’s out of plumb by a good margin. Also, most of the rear wall (manufactured at their site) the nails missed the studs completely. They did a shoddy job but I’m living with it because I’ve put much effort into the thing. If I did it over I’d stay on top of them since I know carpentry and would have spotted junk.

I now have three sheds. I built one, I rented one to own, and now I purchased one with installation from Tuff Shed through Home Depot. My salesman at Tuff Shed, Paul, kept me informed and bird-dogged the process from start to finish. Tuff Sheds installers Ephraim and his assistant arrived on time with the preassembled shed. They leveled the awesome gavanized steel base and began construction. It comes with the walls and doors pre-assembled. They put up the walls and the roof, shingled and installed drip edge on the roof, installed the doors, and applied the second coat of paint (the first coat is applied at their shop after building the walls). The whole process took exactly 4.5 hours, and the shed is fantastic! Very well constructed. The men that they sent to do the job were very professional and organized. Thank you to them and Tuff Shed for providing me with a quality product and service.

Horrible experience from the Tuff Shed salespersons (from both their recommendations), which they recommended that I NOT let tuff shed administrators oversee the zoning requirements porting of my shed request. This was a big mistake and a headache I had to go through. Also, the salesperson (Lee Daugherty) was so substandard. I wanted two (2) sheds placed in my backyard. However because he did not know about the easement (which was clearly listed on my property documents), and he did not tell me that Tuff Shed could not place the lean-to shed on my home until the last minute. So, towards the end of my planning, he just stopped talking about my lean-to, which I was willing to pay $10,000 for installation.
Next, I had a lot of complaints after the installation, and I wrote my complaints on the after- installation documentation. Also, I called Tuff Shed (day after installation) and left a detailed voice message complaint. So, I waited for a customer representative to call me back. Unfortunately, it has been a week and I still have not received any communication from Tuff Shed administration addressing my complaints. Lee did call and left a message- but I did not want to deal with that one again. For Tuff Shed Adminstators, I did not sign the after installation documentation- so, please take a look at the documentation. So, Tuff Shed administration has been incompetent and just uncaring about their customer complaints.
Problem(s) list (which was placed on Tuff Shed after-installation report) :
- The Installation team called me in the afternoon of day before the install -to tell me they could not make it on 12 August 2025. So, taking off from work to be there for installation – wasting my time. They next said that they would arrive on 13 Aug 0800am - 1200pm. They arrive at 0713 am with no call letting me know of their earlier plans.
- Installers complaint(s): they did not install the ramp, both trash and nails were left at site; they did not paint black trim on upper right side of trim (you can see the white spots on the black trim): used my water hose without my permission in both the front and backyards (and did not replace them), left black paint on inside shed wall paper house wrap (looks like tagging or graffiti), and they left a trail of white paint from backyard gate through the grass to the shed install site.
Lastly, I have contacted Tidewater shed for my lean-to and will post about my experience with them compared with Tuff Shed. All my neighbors know of this nightmare experience- and I will post this on my community page- to warn all my neighbors of this disappointing experience with Tuff Shed.

The folks from Tuff Shed, from start to finish were polite and professional. Carl from Sales, Ron and Josh who built the shed, and Frank who completed the finishing touches and second coat of paint. Carl was knowledgeable and helped us determine exactly what we needed, we couldn't be more pleased. He also kept us informed every step of the way. The day of the install was very hot and Ron and Josh did a professional job and ensured everything was perfect and to our liking before they left. It was also hot when Frank very meticulously applied the second coat and gave us tips for care of our new shed. Top rate gentleman! Highly recommend!

I bought a shed and i can say its been pretty good EXCEPT the shingles have been falling off. I contacted tuff shed and understand my warranty was up. The issue is the shingles were never nailed down and have been falling off i nail them back on like there supposed to be and tar them. I was told that i may have been mistaken that mabe the hole closed back up BS there were no holes. I understand about warranty but improperly installed i believe should have been on them. Basically they told me they will replace it forr 1,200 dollars now why would i do this when you cant even accept that your installationen is crap ..

Now I understand why this business has so many fake reviews. Their poor customer service, lack of expertise, and inferior workmanship should be avoided.

I have 2 Tuff Sheds. The first shed was purchased several years ago and has held up except for a leaky roof I had repaired. The 2nd shed floor failed before the warranty ended. I pursued a warranty claim, but I had to persistently call the company to get a call back.

Once they finally called me back, I was scheduled for an inspection visit, but no one showed up or called after I took off work to wait for the inspector. When I reached someone at the company days later, I was told the job was complete. It took several more days to reach a manager who said he would try to visit, but he never came or called to reschedule. The manager finally visited and told me my shed floor would not be covered because I store a small Honda Rebel motorcycle in the shed, although the bike does not sit near the sinking floor spot.

My older shed held a Honda Goldwing for several years without an issue. I called the corporate office and left a message for a warranty person who stated he would investigate and call me back, but I never heard from him again.

Long Island Tuff Shed has the worst service and product I've ever experienced. Spend the money to save yourself the headache unless you only need the shed for less than 5 years.

Our experience with Rick in Portland, Maine has been wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable and follows up with all his promises. If you are looking for shed Rick is the person you want to talk with.

I bought shed on a promotion of 6 months no interest, but they apparently sold the financing to Service Finance Company LLC and from day 1 I am now accruing some type of incredible interest rate, a $206 payment only creditted $113 to principal and $92 to interest.

The shed is great but the two installers, Fernando and Phillipe were the best. They did their job quickly, efficiently and cheerfully. I recommend them to anyone needing a Tuff Shed installation.

Tuff shed could careless about the men who are expected to go fix their builders fups underpaid overworked and never a christmas bonus. Sad

My Experience with Tuff Shed: A Warning to Potential Customers

Initially, I was highly satisfied with my Tuff Shed purchase and gave the company a glowing 5-star review. Unfortunately, my experience over the past year has drastically changed my opinion. I now feel compelled to share the ongoing issues I have faced and why I can no longer recommend Tuff Shed.

From the beginning, the shed was not adequately blocked during construction, leading to the front left side of the structure dropping. This misalignment caused significant problems with the doors and the hasp, making them difficult to open, close, or lock.

In September 2023, I contacted Stephanie from Warranty Claims in OKC. She dispatched a single technician to address the issue. However, the technician was unable to lift the shed and install additional blocks or shims by himself, so I had to assist him manually. While this temporary solution worked for a while, the same issue reoccurred in August 2024.

This time, I again reached out to Stephanie and explained the recurring issue, detailing the inadequate blocking during construction and the repairs made the previous year. She sent two technicians to resolve the problem. I walked them through the situation before leaving for an appointment, expecting them to fix the issue professionally.

Upon my return, I was shocked by what I found. The technicians had left a mess: the shims they added were protruding beyond the shed's edge, preventing us from reattaching the lattice. The hasp was barely functional, and, worst of all, the metal frame of the shed had been damaged during their work. When I contacted Stephanie to address these concerns, she informed me that the technicians were instructed only to work on the doors and refused to lift the shed as required. She promised to send another team to fix the mess but, despite waiting two months, no action was taken.

Left with no choice, I hired contractors at my own expense to properly fix the issues. I also wrote a letter to Mr. Tom Saurey, CEO of Tuff Shed, detailing my concerns, but I never received a response.

Given these repeated failures in construction quality, warranty service, and customer support, I now feel obligated to revoke my previous 5-star rating. Based on my experience, I must give Tuff Shed a NEGATIVE rating and cannot recommend them to others.

Ordered a Tuff Shed and got the run around as to when the shed would be delivered - had to wait for engineering and "the like" to get ahold of us so we could get a permit (which they indicated the if they pulled it it would cost 480.00!! and take 6 weeks which is rediculous ) Scott is the sales person that is 100% in it for sales only! We already paid for it on our home depot card so I suggest dont pay until you have written confirmation of installation. Not good - we are going to try and to get our money back from Home Depot and cancel our order Not sure how that will work - Go directly to Home Depot or Lowes and get your own installation person

My husband and I just had our storage shed from Tuff Shed installed yesterday. We both very happy with the results. From the moment I spoke to the sales representative Jerry Sims who came to my yard and helped me to choose location and suggestion to build our shed to sign documents and scheduling delivery and installation (installer Victor and Julio did great job install our shed), the process was smooth and well planned . My husband and I had a great experience and will definitely buy shed from Tuff Shed again if we need more and strongly recommend Tuff Shed to friends and families.

Dealing with Tuff Shed in Mobile was GREAT!!! Haley was a super sales representative for the company. She was an expert and could answer every question I had. She expertly guided me through the process of purchasing a 10' X 12' Ranch Pro Shed. Savannah coordinated the site plan and engineering specifications with my local code office and Ragan coordinated the construction and installation of the shed. Chris and his helper were master installers as they worked with the threat of rain on a Saturday to complete the installation in less than 6 hours. Tuff Shed is truly the Cadillac of utility portable sheds well worth the little extra you pay. As they say "You get what you pay for!!!!" They are top of the line!!!!!
