We couldn’t be happier!
My entire experience was excellent from start to finish! I had lots of questions throughout the process. William was very helpful and patient. The installers, Ron and Josh, were very prompt, communicative, friendly and efficient. Our shed was completed in about four hours. The worksite was spotless when they left. The shed is exactly as expected, well built and attractive.

I have been waiting for them to get a working site plan through the city since February 6 but nobody seems able to give me a straight answer. I have been told by many different employees that they are “ on it “, but never any follow through. They took my money and and I’m still waiting for a definitive answer. Would never recommend this company to anyone.
the hinges are CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP
I've had my Tuff Shed for over 3 years and it is holding up well... I had the extra metal foundation joists and extra rafters - and it's had 3 feet of snow on it...
I also had the double doors - and THAT was the BIG PROBLEM... the doors are heavy and the hinges they used were so cheap that within a couple months the doors were sagging so much I couldn't latch them closed unless I lifted up on them to close them... I knew if I called them for the warranty they would just come out and put the same hinges on and I'd be going through it all over again in a couple months...
CHEAP CHEAP HINGES...
I finally bought 6 heavy duty T-strap hinges and my partner and I installed them - not with little wood screws like were used on the original hinges that broke and stripped when they were installing them, but with 3/16" bolts that went all the way through the door with nuts on the back...
the doors are no longer sagging...
I purchased a tuff shed from Home…
I purchased a tuff shed from Home Depot. The salesman from tuff shed was two hours late for the schedule appointment we had.
The Home Depot manager called him after noticing I was still standing there by the customer service desk.
He told her he was in the parking lot.
Let’s just say I didn’t see him for 15 more minutes.
When he finally got there, we went outside to see the displays. I liked one of them and asked him could I just buy the display instead of them having to build me one, “ he said yes, as long as it can fit already assembled.
I didn’t think it was a problem because I just had a shed moved that was much larger.
Two days before the delivery day I called him to confirm everything was OK. He said yes everything is a go. The office should be calling me today or tomorrow with a time of delivery.
I didn’t get a call from the office so I called them and ask what time will my shed be delivered tomorrow? She asked me have I talked to my salesman? I told her yes, I talked to him two days ago and he said someone from the Office would be giving me a call with a delivery time.
She said No we emailed him a week ago and told him that the driver went by the house and said that the truck will not fit in the back with the shed being assembled.
I was pissed. I called the salesman and he said he had
just got the email that day.
I had contractors scheduled the next day and I’m using my shed for a office so I had office furniture all over my house longer than I expected.
I was refunded for the display shed since they were unable to make the delivery. I was told by management if I wanted to have one built, I could go back to Home Depot and meet the salesman and it wouldn’t be any additional cost for the new build for all of my trouble.
I was so upset I didn’t realize I ended up paying a little over $100 more for the shed after I was told it would be the same price. The salesman told me that he was going to add a light to the outside of my shed with
no additional cost and my new shed would look just like the display. It was built today. I have no lights that was promised to me and the residential door that was on the display is not the same door that’s on my shed. I called to the office and the salesman told me he’s working on it. The Office told me they would call me back. I have not heard from them.
I will not recommend
TUFF SHED to anyone.
Shed installed by Brian and George
I had a 10'x12' shed installed by Brian and George out of Columbia, South Carolina. They did an awesome job. They were pleasant and friendly and they worked well with me to insure the installation was exactly how I wanted it. Thank you, Brian, thank you George, and thank you Tuff Shed. I love my new shed.
This was a fiasco
This was a fiasco. I had my paint matched to my house and read that I should leave it at Home Depot for someone at Tuff Shed to pick up. Then a woman on the phone said she didn’t know about that and said to bring it to the warehouse where it was being built. I was waiting for her to get back to me to tell me exactly what to do and I received a rude call asking where was the paint and they would have to reschedule if I didn’t get it to their warehouse. Then on the day it was to be installed workers came to demo my old shed, which the woman on the phone said they didn’t do, so I had taken it down myself. The two workers who didn’t speak English returned hours later by themselves (they definitely needed more than two people) and worked for three days to get it done. I am expected to give this 13 foot tall shed a second coat of paint with the dried out paint brushes they provided. The windows are scratched and crooked. The second story is covered in debris. They put the ugly solar panels on the front of the building and the sconces to light the building on the back. The lights on the inside are unevenly installed. They have no attention to detail.
The whole experience was very easy
The whole experience was very easy. From Larry our Sales Consultant to the installation crew, Samuel and helper. Should have done this sooner!!! Thank You!!!
Excellent work and nice shed
The crew of 4 men who built our shed (They are called 3 Brothers) were extremely hard workers and finished our 12’ x 24’ shed in one day. They only took a five minute lunch break and did exceptional work. They also cleaned up after themselves. 5 Star rating!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
If I could leave "minus" stars I would! Buyer beware.... to start this review off I will say that this "project" took 2 years!!! We put our deposit down in 2024!
Tuff Shed said they had a dedicated team for KCMO to assist with the process & to help expedite the permit... not true. Customer service is/was pushy from beginning to end and even accusatory during the construction process. They cancelled our first install date & demanded more money!!!???!!! They somehow started w/out us signing the new paperwork for more money, yet they are still pushing us for more money!! We have everything in writing!
Our salesperson... no help, no calls back, no touch base to see how project was going...just collected his commission & moved on. No calls from managers... locally, district or national!! They were hoping we would cancel and they could keep our deposit, but that was not happening!!!
We did have a few people along the way that did help, but overall it has been an absolute horrible experience!!! Time is money and we received the certificate of occupancy a few weeks ago... and now we have MOLD!!!! This is a nightmare and now we have to push out other contractors because of this issue! Time is money and this continues to cost us more and more everyday! And this garage is only 18'x20'.
I will update my review, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! I will report to BBB, Trustpilot and any additional opportunities to review this company.
Disappointed doesn’t cover it!
We provided Tuff-Shed ample time to correct the issues before writing the review but after almost three weeks of promises without fulfillment, it is time. The initial process was simple. The customizing and ordering was fairly easy, including scheduling the install. The install itself was mainly standard, except towards the end of completion, it all broke down. Here is the list of what went wrong:
1. The contractor was not given enough supplies to complete the roof, so we have a five inch hole in the ceiling/roof.
2. A corner of the roofing material was missing. It still is! The contractor said they didn’t send enough.
3. It was raining so they didn’t finish painting. There are splotches of different color paints everywhere.
4. We had a 16x12 shed and were told by their rep to ensure the foundation (we built a cement foundation for it) was exactly 12x16. Our contractor made precisely, and the shed had 1/2 inch exposed on each side. So, now we have a literal opening on each side where rodents and other animals can gain access. So, we had to spend more money to buy flashing and we had to fix their mistake.
The contractor said he would notify Home Depot that these pieces were missing and that someone would be out in a few days to place them. He also said he was “Leaving the paint there as if we were expected to paint even though we paid for it to be done. This was a $13,000 shed.
We waited for the contractor to contact us about when the parts and paint would be done but got radio silence.
We made multiple attempts and had them either cancel one appointment because the contractor’s trailer got a flat tire. Not before they said that the contractor did not inform them that pieces were missing or the painting was not finished. The second appointment the contractor did not show up because- according to the foreman- the wrong color parts were ordered. According to the contractor, no one told him that he had to paint.
Scott Frazier, the initial rep we made the purchase with, pretty much ignored us after he made the sale.
Pictures are available for review if Tuff-Shed wants to check.
Tuff shed gets super hot even on just a warm day
While tuff sheds are well built, the seller doesn't mention how super hot they get with only a little sunshine. I bought it to store equipment in, but it gets so hot it will ruin any rubber or plastic parts. Also unsafe to store gas or fuel in. I have added windows and vents but it's still crazy hot. If the seller had warned me about this,I would have had it insulated at the time.
I purchased a Tuff Shed and they refused to honor mthe warranty
I purchased a Tuff Shed, and it was installed in June 2024. Twice after that shingles on the ridge vent were damaged due to wind. Tuff Shed sent someone out to repair it. On 3-27-2026. the wind damaged the singles on the ridge vent again. I was asked to send pictures of the damage, which I did. I was sent a message from Fallon with Tuff Shed that said the damage appears to be consistent with an external impact and is not covered by warranty and I needed to pay $450.00 to have it fixed. It happened after a strong wind and there was nothing lying on the ground that could have caused that Damage. They didn't want to spend the money for materials and labor to repair it.
Immorl and Underhanded
First, I am terribly confused by how this company has an A+ rating, and all I read on BBB were negative reviews??????
I left two stars because the quality of the build was good, and Eddie, the contrator who built it (not associated with Tuff Shed) was excellent..
Everything else, i.e., dealing with Tuff Shed and its representatives, was deplorable. If anyone doubts what I'm about to write, I'll send you all of the emails I've kept showing their underhanded marketing and upselling. Ordered a simple lean-to shed, 4 X 10. For some reason I was told it needed to be 5 X 10 "to make the door fit". O.k., I didnt' grouse about that and the original stated price went from $2,646 to $ 2,789. I then requested a simple door at the other end---wait for it: $698!!!!! for a door????? This is a shed, not a Frank Gehry masterpiece. I was told to pick the paint colors because the paint was included in the cost. What they didn't tell you was it was another $349 to APPLY the paint!!!! Then they added a window for which we didn't ask. Then they added the cost of two vents and door hardware, after telling me it was included. Bottom line, the $2,646 shed was now going to cost $4,096.67!!!!!! It took weeks to work this out and get them to reasonable price, but I will never work with them again. They have no compunction about their immoral marketing and sales processes.
My wife and I bought our shed awhile…
My wife and I bought our shed awhile back. One of the front door beams got loose. When I called them I spoke to the head honcho at the office. He told me it was a simple fix. I said so fix it. We just bought the shed. No was the answer.
Tuff Shed sucks
This company has the worst customer service in the US. I paid a great deal for a new Tuff Shed. The build quality was between poor and average. I spent countless hours with them through texts and phone calls. Finally they agreed to come to my location to inspect the problems. It took one month to get an appointment then no one showed. I called again and received to reply. Avoid this company at all cost.
BR Construction: Thumbs UP!!
These guys (BR Construction) worked HARD and did an outstanding job on our Tuff Shed. It turned out beautiful. I really appreciate their attention to detail. I cannot say enough good things about them, except maybe, that they were friendly and very professional as well!!
BR Construction out of the Colorado…
BR Construction out of the Colorado Springs area is AMAZING! This is our 2nd Tuff Shed install and I must say, BR exceeded our expectations. They were professional, friendly and made sure the job sore site was left clean. Amazing crew! Thank you Brandon and team!
the shed was installed in January 2026
the shed was installed in January 2026. Just a few weeks later, it rained and the door leaked. I contacted Tuff Shed to repair the leak and I was told this isn't covered. I paid over $7,000 for this shed and it leaks and they are unwilling to fix it. They claim they have the best sheds and are under warranty, but they do not keep their word and their work is crappy.
Process was fast and easy to design…
Process was fast and easy to design online. Install was great. The team came on time and had the whole thing finished in less than 4 hours. The shed is beautiful and quality built, using 2x4 framing as opposed to the lower quality 2x3 framed sheds. The whole thing is good quality. I would definitely buy again.
The installation was horrible
The installation was horrible, the placed the shed nearly directly on the ground, no way to level it, wouldn't stand behind their work. Would not recommend dealing with this company. I learned.
