Hay people had a wedding booked this year 2026 and easy jet hiked are flights up By £3000 because they moved the flights by 1 day obviously to do with the jet fuel issues and the war in Iran which are very much out of are control.... This obv blew the budget out of the water.. Reason for the review is.. The wedding company just want u to hand over your NONE REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.. as you have seen in many of there replys to people reviews excitly like this they will say terms and conditions and you agreed etcetc but my goodness real life sometimes happens and jet fule issues etc are out of are control and a bit of flex in the company's stance from time to time expecially when then problems can be proven would benifit this company massively as they are hard hearted cold and useless when you ring as present... Her words on the phone were "you can still get there you just don't want to then" my reply was " I could get to the moon if I had the money but I don't and we are in the same situation with the wedding" ...
So long story sort.. The sale girls reel u in and sell u a dream and a package and payment plan that suits.. After that it's different people with different attitudes and they are money grabbing unhelpful and unwilling to help. We tried to find solution and were shut if at every turn. Or options were pay more and move the date. (which put us in the same position or moneys gone)
You might think sure it's only one review I thought the same but it happen to us and it can happen to you!!! I wouldn't recommend them at all I'd warm people away in fact... £3200 gone.. Upto ourself.
My recommendation..... GO WITH ANYOTHER COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS! hopefully this saves someone a fortune!!!!
Update... As you can see from the reply very much sticking to the terms and conditions which if you are going by the book then yes they have every right... Point of the review is real life happens and obv the above situation was out on our control. And the wedding company kept every penny even though the wedding was the best past of a year away and they had out laid no cost.. Very unhelpful and by the book they will do zero to help in the case of an emergency or serious issue.. Avoid avoid avoid

We do of course appreciate your frustration at the consequences of the change to your flight arrangements made with EasyJet. It is frustrating for us that your negative online review results from changes to travel arrangements that were not booked with our company and over which we have no control.
As with all suppliers of overseas weddings, we do ask our customers to acknowledge and agree to booking conditions at the time the reservation is made. These include conditions relating to deposit payments and cancellation charges that are applied where customers opt not to continue with their arrangements. We do not agree to waive cancellation charges where the termination of the booking is the result of the customer’s arrangements with another supplier not being fulfilled.
We are sincerely sorry that our adherence to our booking conditions in your case has resulted in such unhappiness. We can only suggest that you contact your wedding insurers (if cover has been arranged), who may provide for cancellation charges resulting from flight disruption of the type you have encountered.

We have tried to plan a foreign wedding…
We have tried to plan a foreign wedding ourselves 2 years ago, it was soo complicated and difficult that after 2/3 months of reaching out to venues and and getting very unclear responses, we gave up on the idea and settled to have an average hotel here in Ireland look after it as there was too much to plan once we opened the can of worms. Due to unforseen circumstances we had to cancel that, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
We decided to give it another go, when we found the Wedding Travel company we thought it was too good to be true. But after sending an enquiry to them I got a call from Sarah within 10mins.
The prompt response and extensive information she gave us made us 100% confident that this is the way to go. She wasn't pushy or a like a classic sales person, instead she was very honest with us. She made us aware that the place we enquired on originally wasn't necessarily the best spot for us and made us aware of other logistics that we wouldnt of even thought about in that area. She made a recommendation based off of information she gathered from our call and now that is the place we are getting married.
I could write a book on how good I think this company and Sarah are but im trying to keep it short.
I'd highly recommend anyone to use this company, even if your not planning a foreign wedding cause you think it might be too hard, give Sarah a call and it'll be the best decision you ever made.

Friendly and really helpful
We have put the deposit down for our wedding in Zante with Suzanne being our wedding planner.
She was lovely and friendly from the first call, even responding to me over weekends when I presume she’s not working! She gave us suggestions for venues which fitted in with what we were after and we decided on a venue which was her suggestion in the end.
Nothing is too much trouble for her and she gets next steps done quickly.

The most magical day
It was the most magical day. Sorrento was incredibly romantic and timeless. We were married in the Cloisters and had our reception at the Foreigners Club. Both locations were stunning, enhanced by the exceptional local resort team, the venues and the enthusiastic locals who cheered us on throughout the day.
Booking was straightforward and clear. The admin team was fantastic when we needed help with paperwork and the resort team, particularly Fatima, was nothing short of exceptional. She was the glue that held everything together and kept everyone organised. Louisa and Daniella handled my hair and makeup, being kind and incredibly invested in making sure everything was perfect for our big day. Alessandro and Luigi, our photographer and assistant, were phenomenal perfectionists. The sample photos we’ve seen from Alessandro are breathtaking.
If you’re unsure about a location, I highly recommend Sorrento, especially with the team we had around us. They will ensure your day is perfect when you get to Italy.

Sarah was fantastic through the whole procedure, she was very patient and helpful with finding us a perfect location for our wedding, we chose blue lagoon in turkey! At first we looked at other location but decided this was more for us, Sarah supported us through all of it replying to emails or checking in with phone calls. Once we decided the location it was thoroughly discussed what the next process will be and what is included. Very reassuring that if we had any questions she was only an email away if for any other reason she could not answer the team was there to help too! Definitely recommend! My fiancée and I booked our wedding abroad through The Wedding Travel Company after being recommended by a friend who had also booked their wedding overseas. From the very beginning, every member of staff we spoke to was polite, helpful, and professional.
We booked our wedding with Louise, who had also organised my friend’s wedding. We honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. She answered countless questions for us, always taking the time to email or call whenever we needed guidance or reassurance.
Originally, we were set on getting married in Rhodes and looked at several venues there. After discussing what we wanted, Louise recommended a stunning venue in Zante — and we booked it straight away.
We have dealt with the booking side of things so far, and everything has been smooth and stress‑free.
