So I had Sarah dealing with my initial query, I made a list with the missus of everything we wanted and a primary location in Las Vegas. Sarah set to work on making a quote for us that included everything that I asked, but then the missus changed her mind on the location and found somewhere else, so I quickly emailed Sarah to ask her to alter the location to La Capella, she was more than happy to switch the location for us and then said that it was still possible to visit our initial location if we wished to get those wedding shots, this was perfect news (really appreciated that info). Once there was a quote in place, we scheduled another call and she ran through everything that was included in the package and all the possible extras that we could add, but she made sure that it was what we wanted for our big day and not her upselling additional items, Sarah only had our intentions at mind, something me and the missus weren’t expecting in all honesty, we thought there would be some, but she was professional and courteous throughout. Quote came out and the price was perfect (better than what we were expecting), obviously when you think it’s too good to be true, it is. However, she again (for my benefit) ran through what was included in the package and even included the gratuity and sales goods taxes in the price, something we were concerned would be astronomical, they weren’t. Then came my questions about photographers rights, transport, music, a full barrage of questions, Sarah wanted to get answers for me before doing anything else, she went away and gathered all the answers for me. Then rescheduled another call, gave me all the answers and that shut me up from worrying about the minor details. We get onto locking in the price and putting a deposit down, it was quick and painless and we utilised their interest free plan for a few months (if it’s there, you might as well use it). Then came another detail change from the missus, she wanted the wedding pushed an hour, so I relayed this to Sarah, thinking the worse, I was told “it’s been done and the time changed”….what a bloody service this is!! Anyway paid the deposit and was told that as we booked for October 2028, there isn’t too much to be done yet, but she would be in touch closer to the time to discuss colour schemes and floral arrangements. Sarah managed to make this exciting event, an even more exciting event. Nothing short of perfection so far and I can’t see the support dropping either.

We got married in Crete as we fell in love with Paraplous Restaurant Beach weddings.

I’ll be honest we were not happy with the Wedding Travel Company for their service. I was not happy with the online planner we had and the lack of communication and the whole admin process was, in fact, so much more stressful than it should have been.

The only reason I am giving this company 5 stars is because of Rebecca, our on site planner. From the moment Rebecca took over the wedding planning details, she was absolutely incredible. From our very first video call, through all the preparation leading up to the day, and on the day itself, she went above and beyond in every possible way.

She made the entire process feel manageable and exciting, kept my stress levels down, helped solve decisions I’d completely given up on, and thought of so many details I never would have considered myself. Her professionalism is outstanding, but what makes her truly special is how genuinely caring and lovely she is.

I think having a wedding planner you really connect with makes such a difference, and with Rebecca I always felt understood, supported, and completely looked after. She had my back the entire time, and I trusted her completely.

And dare I say, we even had a potentially catastrophic mishap with our wedding certificates on the journey back to the UK ( our fault completely). Rebecca absolutely didn’t have to get involved, but she stepped in, helped secure everything for us, and made sure they were safely sent over to us. That level of care and support goes far beyond what you’d expect.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help bring our wedding to life, and I’d recommend her in a heartbeat.

Working with Sue made the whole wedding planning so much easier. Nothing was too much trouble if we had a question, Sue always got back to us with answers to our questions and Sue was lovely on the phone when we had our chats. The wedding travel company have been fantastic all the way through and we can't wait to go and married on June 5th 2026 at The Golden Coast Beach Hotel 😉

From the very start of booking our wedding with the wedding travel company the communication was amazing, the planning was just a great experience, Kim our planner was just brilliant she helped us plan the best day of our lives the day was just perfect couldn’t recommend the travel company anymore was overall one of the easiest and laid back process to having the best wedding so thank you to the wedding travel company!

We’ve booked our dream wedding in Zante for June 2028, and Angel has been absolutely incredible throughout the entire journey. She has been supportive, patient, reassuring, and genuinely invested in helping us create the perfect wedding experience. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always there to answer every question and guide us through everything with kindness and professionalism.

We have recently booked with peggy who has been nothing but fantastic! Peggy has been very attentive finding us our dream venue with a very can do attitude! She has made our wedding planning so stress free and is very hands on with answering phone calls, e mails, any questions that I may have have been answered in very good time! Would 100% recommend!

Me and my husband got married less that 2 weeks ago in Cyprus and it was theeee BEST most easy organised experience I had in my life the wedding company made things so easy to do with the step by step guide leading up untill the wedding.

My wedding planner was called Amanda in Cyprus and she was absolutely amazing literally from start to finish and even after the wedding.

Amanda went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and Amanda is such a lovely friendly person. She spoke to me and my husband step my step and told us things about the area which really helped. We also had a birthday this week and Amanda advised us and showed us the best places to go (bakery)

On the wedding day one of our guest has a little accident and even then Amanda went above and beyond to help and still make the day go as perfectly planned as it did. Also Amanda was very polite with all the guests and made everyone feel included. She had organised the best make up artist for me and hairdresser to do my hair.

I still can’t believe how well and straight forwards the day went thanks to all the planning. We also recieved our photos from the photographer in a very quick time and Amanda was quick to send them to me too.

Overall I’m very pleased with all the help we recieved and just want to thank Amanda again for making our day as special as it was for us 💒

You made a wedding to remember.

We booked our Sorrento Wedding with the Wedding Travel Company. We were given friendly, step by step guidance and an accurate timeline throughout all of the planning. Their representatives in the resort were absolutely fantastic and made our day just perfect.

I would strongly advise anyone considering booking their wedding through The Wedding Travel Company to think very carefully before doing so.

Our wedding experience was incredibly disappointing and fell far below what was promised and paid for. While bad weather was outside anyone’s control, the complete lack of organisation, communication, contingency planning and accountability absolutely was not.

From the moment we arrived, things were already going wrong. Promised items such as champagne in the room and our welcome pack were missing, meaning we were not properly introduced to the wedding coordinator or informed about arrangements. Staff did not recognise us as the bridal party, did not know who the bride and groom were, and we were placed in an extremely poor room despite booking a wedding package.

Communication throughout the planning process was also extremely poor. Our assigned representative, Kim Deller, was difficult to engage with, replies were often blunt and unhelpful, and we received very little proactive support or reassurance in the lead-up to the wedding. Even after the wedding itself, there was very little genuine care or meaningful follow-up shown despite the significant issues we experienced.

On the wedding day itself, the company failed to provide a suitable contingency plan despite knowing April weather in Cyprus can be unpredictable. Instead of the private wedding reception we paid for, we were moved into a public all-inclusive restaurant. Because of this, we lost huge parts of our wedding experience including speeches, our first dance, bouquet toss and the atmosphere we had spent months planning and paying for.

There were also multiple paid elements that were either not provided at all or not delivered properly:
• Wedding cake never served
• Sparklers missing
• Fairy lights not switched on despite costing over €1400
• Poorly presented decorations
• Signs and candles badly arranged
• Wedding arch collapsed during the ceremony and had to be physically held up by my husband, family members and staff to prevent injury

The hotel itself, Constantinos The Great Beach Hotel, was also extremely disappointing and nowhere near the 5-star standard advertised. At best, it felt like a tired 3-star hotel. Service was inconsistent, organisation was poor, and overall the experience simply did not reflect the premium wedding destination we believed we were booking.

What is most frustrating is the refusal to take responsibility afterwards. The company repeatedly attempted to pass blame onto the weather, suppliers or the hotel, despite the fact that we booked through THEM and trusted THEM to coordinate and deliver our wedding package professionally.

Their own response admits to “oversights,” communication breakdowns and failures in service, yet no meaningful resolution or compensation has been offered.

Planning a wedding should feel supportive and exciting. Instead, the experience left us stressed, upset and deeply let down on what should have been one of the happiest days of our lives.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I honestly would not trust this company to handle such an important occasion again.
