Purchased three Zebra printers. Two of which would not work as described. We tried to get them to work for a couple of weeks, speaking to Barcode Warehouse and Zebra. We then returned the printers, only to be curtly informed that there would be no refund. This was due to the pen marks on the box, and I hadn't packed them very well. Barcode Warehouse will argue their case because they are very good at shutting the door on customers. But the result is I am £900 + out of pocket and Barcode Warehouse does not care.

A word of warning: Be sure to check the returns policy before you buy. I bought a cash drawer/receipt printer recently to replace one which was faulty. Delivery wasn’t the fastest and, in the meantime, I was able to repair out existing one. Thankfully, I was able to return the unopened replacement but was charged a 15% ‘restocking fee’ for the privilege (amounting to over £50). I was later told that this was because Barcode Warehouse is a B2B concern, which seems to mean they are just an intermediary (note that everything is in stock in ‘2-5working days’), which runs contrary to what the name ‘Barcode Warehouse’ suggests.

Been using Barcode Warehouse now for over 10 years. Never disappoint. Always fast delivery to Northern Ireland which seems to be an issue for some GB companies. Not for BCW. This time I dealt with Michelle in CS. She was very knowledgeable and detailed on the product I was after. Would highly recommend these guys.

Spoke to Tom about a printer set up that was required for my business. Was recommended different printers to the ones requested as these are the new versions. Received them and they were not fit for purpose. They then said I needed to fit additional parts to them to fit my requirements. Purchased these, still don’t work. Then it was we needed a different part, then we needed to request this return and do this paperwork. I wish I just brought them direct from the suppliers. It was a total waste of time and money. Now 5 months on from my original purchase and I have just placed the order direct from the supplier. I wouldn’t recommend.

Tom got back to me promptly, and I received exactly what I needed in the promised timeframe. From a service point of view, I can't ask for more than that.

Absolutely brilliant service. Technical support after purchase is outstanding. We have a zebra printer - bought from the barcode warehouse some time ago. When we had an issue I phoned the barcode warehouse and a member of their technical team phoned back. Glynn sorted out the problem quickly - very experienced and used to dealing with customers (like me) who may not have good IT skills. The printer is vital to my business - so grateful to find a company which still gives excellent customer service. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Do NOT waste your money with The Barcode Warehouse – they are absolute cowboys. I ordered from them, and they sent me a FAULTY item that didn’t even work out of the box. When I contacted customer service, they were completely unhelpful and dismissive. They initially responded, but as soon as I asked for a refund or replacement, they stopped replying altogether and started outright avoiding me.

This company clearly doesn’t care about their customers and is more interested in taking your money than providing quality products or service. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. Absolute disgrace.
