Excellent Service

My 13 year old R4 lost all sound and from my first contact with Ruark, initially with Terry in Customer Services, it was impossible to fault the service I received.
The system was repaired, serviced and tested and despatched back to me in full working order within a week. Brilliant service.
If only all other businesses were as efficient

First Class Attention and Result

My 15 year old R4 developed a problem with the cd player refusing to move on from 'reading disc'. It was fixed within a week and the whole experience of dealing with Ruark was excellent; they were particularly responsive and informative.

Repair to R4 Mk3

We had a sound issue with our R4 mk3. I was contacted by Terry, who reassured me they would be able to repair it. They kept me informed, were extremely helpful. It has now been returned, having been repaired and fully serviced. They team were very professional and I cannot praise them highly enough

So my R4m3 decided to eat a cd

So my R4m3 decided to eat a cd. Late that evening I messaged Ruark and by 8 am the next morning I had a reply from Terry telling me it was curable and the process to achieve this. So off it went via RMail and delivered the next day. A few days later I received a note from David saying ‘ All’s well now and the cd is fine’. Within 24 hrs I have had the unit back complete with a letter outlining the work required and It’s back
sitting on the shelf. So very well done to every one involved at Ruark and DPD for the swift delivery at this time of the year.

Really impressive customer care

My Mk4 developed an issue with the cd player, after many years of perfect working. My dealing with Ruark customer care was impressive, from my first call to David to the very helpful member of staff who received my parcel, at their office.
Great communications and unit returned, in very impressive packaging, packed with care.
Great product and great service, thanks

Ruark Superb

Superb service. Ruark restored life into our 10 year old R2 after an unfortunate incident with a carton of milk! Excellent to deal with and wonderful to have a company these days willing to repair a treasured radio unit at a reasonable cost.
Highly recommended.

Quite frankly appalling

Quite frankly, they're after sales is very questionable as I've got a relatively new unit and now incredibly faulty. No one ever communicates with you to say what they've done and when it's going to be done the returning of the unit no one says it's on its way back , until you get it a note from DPD saying it's on its way , then at the last minute having to take time off work, I will never ever ever purchase another audio unit from this firm. I would highly recommend no one else does either if becomes faulty god bless you there is zero communication and zero compassion, appalling appalling, appalling, I expected a lot better I'm just hoping they've addressed the two major problems because obviously no communication

Thanks for taking the time to post a review on your recent experience with our Customer Service team.

I understand you have been dealing with Terry our Customer Service Manager about this warranty repair and he has this afternoon answered all your queries over the telephone.

Sorry that you are not happy with the service you have received from us. My understanding from your review is you feel we have not responded to some of your emails, you were unsure of the repair work we carried out and you did not receive tracking confirmation from our courier DPD.

Our records indicate we received the one support email from you on Sunday 9th November and this was to report the initial fault with your unit. This email was responded to by Terry on 10th November in which he advised we will need to get your unit into our head office to carry out a warranty repair. We then booked a DPD shop return for you and your parcel was collected from the collection point on 13th November before arriving with us on the 14th November.

Your repair was complete by 20th November and then promptly shipped back to you via DPD for delivery and the item was received by you 21st November. According to the DPD tracking you were sent the tracking details via text and then received a further update when there was a slight delay to your delivery. I do apologise if you did not receive these tracking details from the courier. It is also worth noting that when you receive the tracking details from DPD you have many options available to you if the delivery slot is not convenient, options such as a deliver to a local collection point, deliver to a neighbour etc.

All of our repaired units are returned to customers with a note inside the box that explains the work which has been carried out to your unit and I understand this was also the case with your repair work. I apologise if you feel this note could have been more descriptive in terms of the work we carried out.

Sorry again for the issue you experienced with your unit and I hope that you are now able to enjoy your R3S.

r4 mk3 repair

We have had a r4 mk3 for a number of years. When it stopped working we contacted ruark for technical support. They have been amazing. Prompt, reliable and great communication. Our unit is now restored to its excellent former quality and just a repair cost ... not a replacement! Good all round result. Would recommend, without hesitation, both the product and support.

Five-star, affordable repair service

My beloved (but aging) Ruark R7 developed an intermittent fault when ejecting CDs. As it's not just a stereo, it's also a piece of furniture that adds retro character to my flat, I was loathe to replace it.

I contacted Ruark and was pleasantly surprised that they could fix it for at a reasonable cost. Terry and David were helpful, proactive, clear and personable throughout. I felt confident my unit would be looked after.

After arranging a courier to deliver it to Ruark, it took just a week for the company to fix it. The stereo was returned to me carefully and thoughtfully packaged and with a letter explaining what they had done to fix the issue. Not only had the issue I reported been fixed, but their technicians had also identified and fixed another fault I had not picked up on.

Some of the best customer service I can recall receiving. Thank you Ruark for your eschewing today's throwaway culture and being commitment to ensuring a long lifespan for your products - you've made a life-long customer.

Rah! Rah! Ruark!

It is almost unheard of in modern times to get the level of exceptional service and customer care that Ruark provides.

My Ruark R1 Mk2 radio, purchased in 2013, was not working properly. On the off-chance, I contacted Ruark to see if the problem (low volume) could be fixed. Within hours, Ruark confirmed that an out of warranty repair was possible for a fixed cost of just £84 (including return postage). Bear in mind the current R1 model is £239 and to my eyes not such a pleasant design this was worth a punt.

Ruark fixed my radio and returned it to me within 4 working days. AMAZING. The sound must have been failing over time because the repaired R1 sounded better than ever.

Great aftersales service from Ruark Audio …

Great aftersales service from Ruark Audio who have just repaired our much loved R2! Great communication, prompt service and clear pricing. The only slightly annoying thing was having to pay £20 for a return transit box because I couldn't find the original box in our loft! I know it's in there somewhere!

Great service to restore 5yr old R2 mk3

C. 5 year old R2 mk3 screen stopped working. Incredibly good and responsive communication from Ruark, really easy to use repair service, and they do a health check on the unit overall (ie outside of the specific fault needing a fix). Great service. Thanks

Premium Brand, faultless customer service

Ruark are a local company to me and I first came across them through my local Waitrose Food & Home. Loved the design and more to the point the sound there speakers produced. I had a problem with one of my devices and they went above and beyond to sort it for me. I dropped the item off to them and within a week it was fixed and ready to be collected. Most impressive for me was how it was returned to me. Packaged up in a new box which showed great care anr attention to detail.

Proud owner of a Ruark

I recently bought a Ruark R3S, a purchase I spent time thinking about and researching against other products. I was keen to buy British, and even though the products are not longer here (thanks to Governments incompetence when it comes to business) I appreciate the main business is still based in England and the production abroad is strictly supervised. I love my new Ruark R3S, the sound is clear and loud, it looks beautiful and it's a joy to be able to play CDs again which I can pick up very cheaply. A true investment in future years of pleasure. Thanks to all the team at Ruark.

Out of warranty fix, great service.

My 9.5 year old Ruark R4Mk3 stopped working. Contacted Ruark and despite the unit being well out of warranty they fixed it for s fixed price (£132)including return postage. Whole process took a week. Now enjoying the rich sounds it provides once again.

I had a very good experience using this…

I had a very good experience using this firm. My 6 year old (out of guarantee) R4 developed a fault. After contacting them by email, I received a fixed quote to do the repair. I received my fixed R4 back within one week. Great service.

Ruark410

Ruark410 - easy to set up but also very fiddly due to the jog wheel control and no touch screen display and why why no app !
After a software update it wasn’t showing Qobuz connect in the menu, a quick call to Ruark who suggested a factory reset which did solve the problem, however I had to go through the installation process again
Once set up and the remote is fully charged and paired it’s fairly easy to use but would be so much easier and user friendly with an app.
Qobuz connect works well
Stunning sound and looks make this a 5 star product
Last point why no app ??
