Thank you for your additional review. We are sorry to see that you have left a further review regarding the same complaint, which has already been investigated and responded to.
As previously advised, the images and details provided were passed to the manufacturer for assessment. Their feedback was that the discolouration shown did not appear to be a manufacturing fault with the vinyl itself and they advised that it was more consistent with an issue beneath the flooring, such as trapped moisture or contamination affecting the surface appearance. This is the manufacturer's professional response to the claim.
We appreciate that we did not fit the flooring, which is why we recommended that your fitter reattend, lift the vinyl and inspect the subfloor/installation area properly. With our 33 years + of experience, this is a common issue that is raised with us when the vinyl has been laid, as well as the manufacturer so we can unfortunately identify the issue with images. We did not say grease underneath, but damp.
We understand this is frustrating, however we can only respond based on the information provided, the manufacturer’s technical advice.

Awful experience
Nothing but problems.
Firstly, part of my order was cut incorrectly but Remland rang me and resolved this before delivery.
I then had delivery with a missing item. The missing item took four attempts/days to be delivered. During which time, I stayed on site and wasted my time and money.
When the missing part was then delivered, two part of the order were damaged.
Remland are unable to source the replacements within the same batch number and the house will now have a variation.
I told Remland that I am considering a return for full refund but the member of staff tried to tell me that’s not possible. The consumer rights act clearly states that a business is legally bound to refund an order if it is delivered damaged.
Still no resolution and no confirmation of replacements.

Great customer service
Great customer service, have been using Remland for all our carpet and flooring needs for as long as I can remember. Have had carpets, laminates and lino flooring throughout our house with no issues. Dave is fantastic, and has always been attentive to our needs offering several alternatives and always offering a great price. Recently had stairs, landing, and two bedrooms carpeted and bathroom lino. The fitting team were very friendly, professional and extremely efficient. Flawless service.

Good to deal with but need to change courier
I found them very good to deal with when ordering the carpet and asking for advice on how much to order, especially as it was a complicated pattern.
They were usually quick to deal with any email questions.
However, they use a rubbish delivery company (DX - who I've reviewed separately and given just a 1 star rating to). They should really consider using a better courier. I've decided that I won't use any company who uses DX for delivery in the future.

Avoid shopping here at all cost. Received wet, dirty and broken laminate after reporting it they cursed me out. Samples are polished when sent but when you order laminate it's not polished.

All laminate flooring leaves our warehouse in good order and is checked prior to dispatch. Unfortunately, on this occasion the damage reported appears to have occurred during transit with the courier, which is something outside of our direct control. When issues like this are reported, we are always happy to raise a claim with the courier and work towards a resolution.
Regarding samples, these are supplied to accurately show the colour, texture, and finish of the flooring. Full packs are supplied exactly as manufactured and are not treated or “polished” differently from the samples.
We also feel it’s important to mention that our team were spoken to in an abusive manner during contact. While we understand frustration when something goes wrong, we ask that communication remains respectful so we can help effectively.
We regret that this experience was disappointing and remain willing to assist when concerns are raised appropriately.
I paid for vinyl flooring with cutting…
I paid for vinyl flooring with cutting and delivery however it was not cut n they seem to have gave me end of roll as was stapled to huge hard cardboard and plastic tube I rang to ask them to remove this as I'm a disabled pensioner but they were unhelpful and told me to ask a neighbour to remove it but none of us drive n it wudnt fit in a car it is very heavy n I'm unable to move it so it's stuck in my home.no custom service whatsoever as I paid for cutting but no offer of refund for this I am very upset by the way I've been treated by remland carpets n wud never ever buy from them n advise nobody else to I have photos of the great big tube I'm left with

To clarify, all vinyl flooring is supplied with a cardboard recyclable tube inside the roll. This tube is essential to keep the flooring securely rolled during transit so that it arrives without damage, creasing, or distortion. It forms part of the standard protective packaging used for vinyl flooring, including cut lengths, and is not an indication that an end-of-roll product has been supplied.
As the tube is part of the packaging material, we are unfortunately unable to arrange collection or disposal of it. We would recommend checking if a neighbour, friend, or local recycling service may be able to assist with removal. Alternatively, when your household waste or recycling is collected, this is typically something the council will accept if broken down.
We are very sorry if this was not clearly explained at the time and if our communication did not meet expectations. This is not the experience we want for our customers, and we will be reviewing the feedback regarding how your enquiry was handled to ensure we can improve our service going forward.
