Terrible company, they told me time and time again my filter would be with me soon, after opening a PayPal claim they said it wasn't in stock, they cancelled my order but still wouldn't refund me until PayPal stepped in.

I've seen a lot of negative reviews for Preppers Shop but I have to say that, overall, my experience has been very positive and most things I've ordered have come through very quickly. There were a couple of orders where there was a delay, and also one item was refunded due to a problem on the website. When I got in touch, the office did get back to me very quickly. The items where there was a delay were food related, so - in the current circumstances - this is entirely understandable. Preppers Shop kept me fully updated as to the supply issues when contacted and also provided an estimated time of delivery, so I cannot fault this whatsoever. They also replied promptly with an explanation for the refund. Perhaps it would be great if they were more proactive in keeping customers updated but we're not exactly in an ideal world at the moment and, as they do actually get back to you in a timely manner, this clearly shows they are making the effort at providing excellent customer service. As I suspect that they are run off their feet at present, I would advise customers to please cut them some slack and be patient! I would also say that it is definitely worth buying from them, items do get delivered pretty quickly and - where there is an issue - they will come back to you. Also, I should add that I am very happy with everything I've purchased. Keep up the good work, Preppers Shop - and many thanks!

Very poor service from this company . There system was showing that we had it available but was told unfortunately the warehouse team are unable to locate it so we must assume this is a stock error on the system.

Unfortunately these items are not guaranteed to land back in stock with us, We can issue either an immediate store credit to use against something else or cancel and refund the order for you. This was after 1 week after ordering not happy and will never use your company again

Absolutely shocking service. If this review could be 0 or minus it certainly would be. Preppers stock levels are complete lies, you order products that state in stock only to find out weeks after they should of been delivered that they haven't even left the dispatching country yet let alone available for dispatch from the UK. Do not believe their messages of reassurance that your order is being dealt with because its not. The list of excuses for why they can't fulfil the contract you have entered into is utterly shocking. If eventually you do receive a delivery it won't be for what you placed the order for and they won't of processed a refund for the items that they can't fulfil. Disgraceful. Nearly a month to deliver only part of an order, all of the order was in stock at the time of ordering!

Awful experience, you’re looking at months for delivery and absolutely no contact or communication. That is unless you go through your bank to claim the money back in which case they take a couple of months to write back to you. Avoid at all costs

I waited over five weeks for my delivery. Most of the food dates run out next year, and they didn't supply all the rations for seven days. Don't waste you money with this company.

Worst company I've ever dealt with. Everything about this company is shocking. I've contacted my bank to report them.

Awful experience with them.
They described an item wrong and would not pay return postage. They then kept the refund and items and no further reply from them.
There are better places spend your money.

I am adding my voice to warn others not to go near this company. I was searching for something online and this company had the best price and the website looked kosher. I normally check reviews before ordering from somewhere for the first time but forgot this time but I did pay using PayPal and my credit card so double protection. But on getting the order confirmation they had applied 0.99p as "Super Savings Postage" which I thought was odd as one of the items was a cast iron Dutch oven. This prompted me to belatedly check the reviews which are appalling. I sent an email the next day cancelling the order; at this point the charge was only pending on my credit card, but that day it went to posted which meant this company had claimed the money before dispatching the goods. After 48 hours I was able to start a claim with PayPal who immediately refunded the money minus the 0.99p. I then got an email from the company asking the reason for the cancellation, up till then I'd only had an automated email acknowledging my cancellation email. I replied saying it was odd I'd had an immediate reply only after starting the case with PayPal. I then received an unpleasant email saying I had a contract with them when I placed the order and they would take me to court to recover the chargeback fee. This is nonsense and clearly a bullying tactic to get me to reverse the fraud case. In law you have 14 days to cancel an order and the chargeback fee is between the business and PayPal so they can't sue me and they are welcome to the 0.99p to put towards their legal fees 😂. In summation stay away from this company.

I am leaving this review mainly so that the company is aware of my experience with its after-sales service.

I received a brand-new Helle Gaupe knife and immediately noticed a clear crack/gap in the wooden handle. I reported the defect straight away and provided photographs.

The customer service representative said that the photographs would be sent to the supplier to understand the issue. However, the matter was not resolved promptly, and I had to continue following up regarding the return and refund.

I found the overall after-sales communication disappointing. In my experience, the attitude and handling of the situation did not give me confidence that my issue was being dealt with in a straightforward and customer-focused way.

The knife was eventually returned and I received my refund, but the process was much more difficult and time-consuming than I expected for a brand-new item that was reported as defective immediately after delivery.

I hope the company reviews how this case was handled internally, as my main reason for leaving this review is to make the company aware of my experience with its customer service.

Ordered 2 ammo boxes via website on September 1st . Hadn't arrived after 10 days so contacted via email. Responded by saying I had ordered standard delivery so could take 10 working days. Another week went by and contacted them again and they said it's on its way will be with you on Wednesday. I responded right away asking for tracking number with no response. Wednesday came and in the afternoon received email and refund saying that due to error they had sold boxes when they didn't actually have any in stock. So all previous email responses were just lies. The phone number they have is not available so only communication is via email. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Hello on the 8th I wrote about my experience with Preppers UK how I been waiting about a month for my gear,they said didn't send due to some of my items not in yet. It would've been good if they send out an email saying this but didn't plus phone numbers don't work. If you are having trouble with this company email Hello preppersshop uk like we did and now my gear is on it way. This is the last time I will use this company. On YouTube your guy said you can drink nettle tea but you don't say your face swells up because some people might not agree with them. Graham

I've used this company and in the past but with a slight delay being the only problem I decided to give them another go due to an offer.
How mistaken I was to do so.
Ordered on the 8th of August, nothing for weeks, emailed them and was told they are waiting for a big shippment, Said fine i'll wait but when the time came again for the order to be sent "there was a delay" and As I really wanted this knife (been with many years and needed replaced) I said I would give them time, they stated it would be sent on a friday in a week. That friday I get a message saying a Royal mail 48 tracked was made Royal mail didnt get it until late a week later.
Then after waiting two days nothing, then today I finally got the package and to top it off I was misold, the item sent says differently on the package compared to the website.

My advice COMPLETELY AVOID.

I have made an order two weeks ago. I have not received my items but also I have had no communication from them despite emailing them, all I get is preset responses

Absolutely shocking, put and order in and months went bye without receiving any of it. Agyer being strung along for months I eventually cancelled it. Now ive been waiting two months and I still haven't had the refund.

Awful company to deal with. Don't respond to emails and no phone number. Items don't arrive there's no update either. Avoid them like the plague completely untrustworthy. Need to go through bank for refund

Item never received cheeky staff that ignore messages. Told me they received item from royal mail due to incorrect postcode. Demanding money for goods that i got back off my bank due to being ignored about a refund. Now threatening small claims court. Totally out of order

Won't use again. Delivery very late, no updates and replies always stating being very busy.

Employ more people!
