I placed an order with this company and, unlike some previous reviews I’ve seen, I did receive my items. However, the delivery process was far from smooth. There was no advance notice, no delivery slot, and no estimated date provided—my order just showed up unexpectedly one morning.

The items were extremely heavy, and since I wasn’t prepared for the delivery, I had to struggle to move them inside on my own. I reached out to the company for assistance or at least an explanation, but I never received any response. The lack of communication and customer support is incredibly unprofessional.

While I did receive everything I ordered, the overall experience was frustrating and inconvenient. A simple notification or tracking update would have made a huge difference. Given the poor service and lack of customer care, I won’t be ordering from them again, regardless of the price.

I am a retired builder who helps friends by translating plans into English and speaking ‘Building’ to trades.
My friend ordered and paid ‘Building Plastics’ for fascia board and ventilated soffit on 1st May 2024.
The order arrived shortly after but minus the fascia.
A long, drawn out 25 minute telephone call from the buyer whilst the order number was confirmed, a gap whilst delivery was checked and then confirmed that it had not been sent; it would arrive in a few days.
It did not.
Another telephone call, an identical repeat of the first call, an excuse that the fascia was removed from the delivery vehicle ‘because it was damaged’, a replacement would arrive in two days.
Three days later, the same result from a telephone call to Building Plastics, a promise to find out what had happened and get back to the customer, which never happened.
Now into the 4th week since payment, still no fascia board, no apology, no idea if, let alone when it will arrive.
Caveat Emptor

I wish I had read these reviews before using this company. They told me the items were in stock but in fact there was always going to be a long delay. I have now been waiting for 6 weeks and still have not received my goods. I have not had any communication from them to apologise or inform me of an actual delivery date.

Ordered 14th tried to get date for delivery got through eventually ETA for 24th reading reviews may not get that will update.

Scam, stay away. Ordered a few items, website stated awaiting dispatch for many days, contacted them and was told they will get back to me. no one has bothered to call. now the site states order delivered but never received it.

I ordered a month ago and I'm still waiting. They have not contacted me with any explanation and the only way of contacting them is via their woeful chat service, which never responds.

Had initial delays with parts of my ordered , they di however agree to deliver what they had in stock without an additional delivery charge. Once the remaining order was in stock a very helpful lady organised this to be delivered,

I also mentioned to her that the online chat is poor , which the company are addressing openning additional communication lines including telephone email etc... the online chat was purely pandemic reasons

Just avoid. All the other reviews below are equally as true as my experience, took my money, failed to deliver, turned phone lines off, directed to email, turned email off, directed to web chat, turned web chat off! The only way to contact was to add notes on hte bottom of hte order which i did daily and I was ignored for two weeks. Finally got on to the web chat, and the customer service rep essentially called me a liar (I have the proof of comms and being ignored) and made out it was my fault they've failed! Do not use!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS……trading as www plasticbuildingsupplies com (can’t write links in review)……be aware this is not the same company as PBS (plastic building supplies) www plasticbuildingsupplies com will take your money then nothing, no communication, phone line says not answering calls due to number of calls (no surprise there)….online chat is a joke….guess what…..they don’t answer that either….finally after 2 months lodged a chargeback with credit card company….money refunded immediately……..by all means order thru this company if u want to give them your hard earned cash for nothing in return….

This is a SCAM company, avoid at all costs.

Items were delivered late and loose. And so items were damaged and scratched. Very poor customer service. Most of the time you get no response. No Telephone number supplied on the website. Would Avoid

Discusting company...no phone number or email on their web site....more than 9 days no delivery or tracking info on my phone...you can't contact them...there is a chat in web page but no one answer ....DO NOT USE...YOU'LL REGRET

My dad actually recommended me to use them as he had a good experience, this was a few years ago mind and I maybe should of looked on here as the reviews are worrying! I ordered with them on the 20th July, was told to expect the order 5-10 days, after 10 days I checked in and was told a delay with part off the order. I had no concerns with this as delays happen, they advised though the next day it would be ready. I sat right waiting for delivery or am update on delivery. After 14 days I asked for update, no response, 15 day chased. 19th day advised wanted a call or update by Monday or will take further and here we are. My order says complete, what does that mean, does it mean they think its all done as I have a kitchen waiting for skirting ect... If I had any update I really wouldn't mind but heating nothing is panicking me! Maybe a good price but really not worth the stress! You can't call and the chat service is rubbish if it even works! Fingers crossed I haven't lost my money

I will never use them again. my order was passed over to clear amber who sent it to the "wrong" place then the replacement just never got made. You can not phone building plastics online, you can't phone them the phone gets picked up and then put straight down ( automated system) you can only use their "efficient" answering service , which I waited (at a non busy time) for 0ver 30 minutes for a reply. This was the last time I thought I would try to contact them as all the previous times the message was wiped and they only answered one other chat that, was quickly wiped. As I started talking to my bank to organise a chargeback they said
"As you have stated you have started a charge back which we are advised from our merchant to let run it's course and not dispute it if it is legit."
I showed the chat person the conversation (which he already had access to) via my clear amber stating they had made a mistake and my order was sent to the wrong place and yet "if it's legit" was used. I implore anyone looking for anything they supply to think twice before using this company. I will NOT!
All of this has already been 24 days since they took my money and they don't have the decency to honour the customer.

The order took over 4 weeks to arrive, customer service was rude. When the items arrived they were the wrong dimensions. Again incredibly rude customer service they said they would pick the items up. After over 2 weeks of them saying 'they are coming today', I then read further reviews online and realised they are never coming. I then had to raise a complaint via PayPal. I had to return the items at my own expense (£65). The address in their Paypal account is an office address and that is the only one Paypal will accept it to be addressed to. Anyway courier organised and delivered, however recipients refused to sign. Courier company has now said they have to mark the item as lost. End result I didn't insure and lost all my money, this company loses nothing. My advice would be to never use them, and report to trading standards.

Ordered from plasticbuildingsupplies mid May, received the order beginning July, Eurocell delivered the order. Overall good price for products, but clearer communication and realistic delivery estimates is required. Advertising 1-7 days on website, then actually turning up 7-8 weeks later is a bit misleading. I originally left it 3 weeks after placing the order before attempt to contact the company for an update, logging into my account on the website kept showing "AWAITING DISPATCH" for weeks, I had to start a total of 9 chat sessions, 2 failed delivery dates provided, then 3rd time lucky told delivery would occur same day, and it turned up a couple hours later. I imagine it's all COVID related issues due to stock and increasing demand for building supplies.

After raising a dispute through PayPal, the company got in touch and delivered my order the same day!! Only being down the road in Manchester (me in Bolton) this could of all been avoided. Item received with a few marks as wasn't plastic wrapped, luckily don't need this part of the upvc skirting board, still wouldn't recommend this company, too much hassle for something that shouldn't be, so won't be increasing my rating any. Although just wanted to mention the delivery driver was lovely.
Wish I had checked here first before purchasing.
Only a small order which was placed on the 16th April, created an account to keep track of delivery which stated eta 26th April, never received any communication via email to state that there will be a delay and still is showing eta as the 26th April. I'm glad I've paid through PayPal which should hopefully make it eaiser getting my money back and today will be raising a dispute.

I placed my order on the plasticbuilsingsupplies (BPO Ltd) web site totalling just over £700 on 22nd March and received all the normal confirmation emails. Then I heard nothing until 31st March saying due to increased demand because of the bank holiday my order would be slightly delayed. I was told I would get an update the following Tuesday / Wednesday which would have been after the original delivery date. When I followed-up and asked why they hadn't considered the bank holiday when taking orders I was told it was 'unavoidable'. I am not sure what was unavoidable other than poor stock management, business planning and over-committing to sales they can't honour or that they are simply con artists. I was then told they would 'push' for my delivery to be dispatched ASAP. I have heard nothing more. I have tried phoning repeatedly and it is just a looped recorded message saying their lines are busy. I have left a voice mail and had no response and I have emailed to demand a confirmed delivery date and then threatening them with action if they didn't cancel my order and refund my money. I have had no response and no refund and when I look on their website my order says awaiting dispatch as it has done from the day after I placed it. I have also spoken to Eurocell which is who they actually quote as their distribution network, well its actually Eurocell's distribution network and Eurocell have said they are a nightmare and con artists. When I checked with Eurocell they had no record of my order. I have now had to order from Eurocell direct which ended up costing me less and wish I had simply done this in the first place and as of now 10th April still no contact from BPO Ltd or refund. I have had to submit a Chargeback claim through my credit card company but who knows if I will get anything back. I had read their reviews on Review.IO and obviously must have read about the wrong company on there and on Trustpilot. Sorry to say for once the review sites are also not helping. You can get multiple different companies pop up when putting in the plasticbuildingsupplies url in the search, including Eurocell which is why I thought BPO Ltd were legit. Having done what I thought was some reasonable research and believing I was dealing with a good online retailer, my experience has been anything but and I would recommend others avoid them.

Scam! Luckily only ordered just under £84 worth of items which have still not been delivered. Avoid this company. I asked my bank about the Charge Back scheme where they try and get the bank of the scamming company to return your money. I have spent hours on hold and havebyet to speak to someone.These people are scum. This company has a name similar to a reputable company so don't get confused.

Part of an order was delivered in November still waiting for the rest. Have asked for refund (over £200) but emails ignored, had a reply from "sales manager" who said he would look into it but did nothing. COMPLETE CON ARTISTS. I have contacted trading standards.
MP plastics have gone bust, Building plastics have closed their website and put plasticbuildingsupplies.com instead!
