I have been with this company for 7 years! I cannot recommend them enough. What I appreciate the most is that they see each driver as an individual person. I have been treated exceptionally well during my time with them. They have always, without fail, been personable, kind, helpful, and accommodating to my personal needs. This is what makes them stand out compared to other pco rental companies. They have also helped and guided me in situations where it wasn’t even part of their job description! Phoned up about vehicle last week lady hung up on me when I asked why is the deposit £500, she had no clear answer and then hung up on me in frustration. Giving £500 is a lot of money for a private hire driver who makes ends meet.

I was really happy at beginning when they offered me 25% off for six week but later on I realised they are taking that money off you one way or the other , they offered you full comprehensive insurance but you are not really cover if you get in into accident regardless of fault or non fault you will have to pay £1000 access if you report it within 24 hours if you report later you will have to pay £2000 and they will take car off you and will not give you another car and you will have to pay them rent till the end of your contract which means you will not be working ,not using their car but still giving them rent which is really stupid and the other thing if you get Tickets they will charge you £25 just to transfer it to your name so if you get pcn in central London which is £80 you will end paying £105 which completely ripped off for the taxi drivers. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.

Excellent service 👍. New driver promotion saved me lots of money. 2015 Prius for £150 with all inclusive for 6 weeks. I ended up keeping the car for 12 weeks. Helped me to upload the documents to Uber and explained everything properly. Highly recommended. Thanks team.

I have worked for many companies, however I couldn’t find genuinely helpful people like PCOrent team. The car I have rented wasn’t that good, but there is maintenance every time I needed also it is my choice to keep that car. Thank you so much for the pleasant time I had with you guys. Worst company ever. Avoid them, they are scammers.
I found PCO Rentals very helpful. I had a few issues with a vehicle at the start, but very quick to resolve it, and I felt they went out of there way to help me. They quickly swapped my vehicle for another and refunded me a weeks rental costs.
I’m still renting a car from PCO Rentals and will continue doing so.
I would highly recommend this company for renting a PCO vehicle.

I found PCORentals to be a fair company, they returned my deposit in full and the vehicle was in good condition, I would use this company again.
The worst company I ever rented a car from. All the reviews here are from accounts with only 1 review as they asked their drivers to give them 5stars in exchange for £10 discount, I still have the message on my phone. Staff is friendly only at the beginning when they rent you the car. After that, staff is very rude and don't help you at all when you have a problem. Once I was driving their car in south London and someone stopped me in traffic to tell me I had no braking lights. I pulled over, I called them and they said to take the car to their garage (in north London, more than 1 hour away) just to change the lights if not, I won't get any refund if I change them myself. I had other problems with their cars, I had the car stopped at their garage for 1 week, I couldn't work, I didn't get any refund. Once, they had problems with the insurance, I couldn't use the car, again, no refund. If you do complain, you are not listened, they just don't care. The worst experience I had when I gave the car back, they blocked me and tried not to return my deposit after 1 month as per contract. I had to call them using a different number and managed to get the money back. I have evidence of everything on my email. I would not recommend this company to anyone

I have been reading this rewievs and i was surprised ......i had twice cars rented for 3 -4 months from them never had any issues .......not with mileage cap not with refund off my deposit .....i have paid always 20 pounds extra for a full waiver which is basicly covers everything for your peace of mind....happy with them no issues at all

Cons:
Very doggy company.
1. They'll charge you for everything. If you get a ticket, extra admin fee. Doesn't matter if you won the challenge.
2. They have very unprofessional service garage who are just messing up your car.
3. If you have a non fault hit & run accident, you'll pay for it.
4. If you have a flat tyre, they won't pay for it.
5. If your tyres are in bad condition, you can't fix it anywhere. You can't go to Kwik fit as you can do it with most other companies. Only on their unprofessional garage.
6. They're messing up with the rent you pay. You can be called to pay more from next week, because they've set the price wrong. Fortunately, the law says, if you gave the wrong price you can't change it.
7. I was asked to do the MOT for the car once. I went there, I did what I had to. After around a month I've got just a text from them to go to do MOT for the car. I haven't even reply to that message as I already had the MOT. I went to their office to do the PCO licence for the car and I've showed them my MOT. Then they've said I have to have a fresh MOT for the PCO. But how do I suppose to know from a single text without explanation?
8. Don't be surprised if you get a car what shouldn't even be on the road. You still gonna get the MOT for it anyway.
9. If you give them a negative review, they will contact and ask you to remove it.
10. My newest problem today. 12/03/2019 I've got banned from Kapten. They have said my vehicle has been disabled due to an outstanding recall. I've checked on the MOT website and its true. I've made an appointment today by myself as these crappy people wont do anything. The Purley Toyota said my car had an appointment for this for today in edgware, but noone has notified me. What a bad company is this. Even if Im not paying the rental fee for this week im still losing money.
This scammer company is definitely zero out of ten.

I recently rented a PCO car (Toyota Prius, 2010 model) from PCO Rentals NW8. The vehicle showed 264,000 miles on the odometer when I took the car. However, as the car had faulty dashboard I had to return the car for repair the very next day. When I got the car back the odometer reading was 284,000 miles. No explanation was given for the increase of almost 20,000 miles.
A week later on 27 August 2019 my rental vehicle developed a catastrophic mechanical failure while I was driving on the M11 motorway. I wasted 30 minutes trying to get help from RAC the recovery company used by PCO Rentals. Fortunately I was a member of The AA who rescued me and recovered the broken vehicle to the recommended garage by PCO Rentals at Kingsbury.
I called them up at 9am sharp the next day and explained everything and they said someone will be in-touch with me regarding replacement vehicle. Even after 48 hours I was not offered a replacement vehicle further more they did not bother to contact me at all.
After I wrote a email letting them know that due to non-availability of replacement vehicle I lost £460 in lost earnings and a further £130 in costs involving taxi fares and recovery costs. I demanded they refund me my deposit of £350 and congestion charge advance of £120. Instead they charged my debit card for £50 without my consent and permission. I requested them to communicate everything in writing instead of telephone calls and they failed to do this as well.
I was lucky that when the vehicle broke down I did not have any passengers with me otherwise they would have suffered with me in a dangerous and inhospitable environment like the hard shoulder of the M11 at midnight in total darkness for almost three hours.
My advice to anyone looking to rent PCO car from PCO Rentals is to think very hard and look for a alternative professional organisation such as SPLEND or similar professional company also in NW8 area.
