Worst Car rental Company from the world!!
Not a fan of this company at all!
It's a shame, because it started out so well. (I guess that's because there were no initial issues). But any issues that did arise, it seemed like quit a long process to get them resolved.
My main issue/problem was a mechanical issue... the car just shut down and wouldn't drive...
Not only would the not recover me and the car (which cost me £400 to get recovered) , I had to pay to get the car fixed!! And that cost me just over £2500! Absolutely disgusting!
So I would think twice ( and have a LOT of spare cash) if you are thinking about using this company.... my advice would be to avoid at all cost!
And another thing I find quite deceitful is, if you scratch or damage the the car, they will charge you through the roof to get it fixed! But they never use that money to fix the issues. Unless it's major .
Because I had a few cars off of them, and they all had light damage, scratches, and alloy scuffs.
So whoever had the cars before me would have been charged for that (HIGHLY), and they just pocket that money! And hand it to the next person unresolved.
I think that's disgusting practice and just another way of taking your money, so they can profit!
If you're charging people for damage caused, use that money to fix the damage!
My experience with WeFlex has been a masterclass in corporate incompetence and broken internal systems.
I formally rejected a vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 due to a catastrophic mechanical failure that left the car off the road, as documented in my previous review. My bank recognized the validity of my dispute and issued a full chargeback.
Instead of processing this rejection professionally, WeFlex's support team ignored the legal reality. They refused to acknowledge the rejection, continued to send automated licensing emails and insurance documents for a car I no longer possessed, and completely refused to update their billing systems.
The absolute worst part? After subjecting me to two months of radio silence regarding my formal legal dispute, despite their claims in their replies to my reviews that they are "committed to resolving this matter", they suddenly surface... Not to resolve the issue, but to assign this non-existent agreement to Otto Car. They essentially transferred a dead, legally disputed contract, passing their administrative mess onto another company. As a direct result of this reckless data transfer, I am now receiving automated text messages from Otto Car demanding weekly payments of £189 for a vehicle I legally returned and was refunded for.
The right hand doesn't talk to the left at WeFlex, and neither hand talks to the brain. They will ignore legal correspondence for months, then unlawfully sell your dead contract to pass the buck.
I would say "Avoid this company at all costs" but it seems karma has intervened, and Weflex has ceased operations.

The company just wants to give you a car and when you try to return it they come up with silly thinks and try to charge you outrageous amount they are unhelpful I’m just grateful I saw there true colours and backed out while I can but they did try to steal money from my account when I owed them nothing today

I had a rent to buy car from weflex in 2023 but the car was written off due to an accident in 2025. I just discovered that my name in on credit karma with this as 12000£ down.
I need to clear this and i called weflex but they no longer trade and i was directed to Otto car. I got through to Otto car and they were not abke to trace my name and the car registration.
Please, if weflex rep is here. I need your help .
They charge you a lot and do not communicate with you. My agreement ended from March 12th and everything was finalised and payments made yet they charged my account 2 days for £185 without reason and now not answering emails or calls!!!!
They don’t pick up phone calls, they barely reply to emails, they charge you loads of stuff with no explanation and expect you to pay it immediately, they close lines early it’s meant to be 9-6 if you call at 5pm lines will be closed. They will immobilise your car then you can’t get through to them to mobilise it which means you miss out on work.. so glad they took over by Otto!!!!!!! Hopefully Otto are better good riddance

Should be called we theft. Issued a incorrect ticket we theft took admin fees before transferring when ticket cancelled by issuing party due to being incorrect we theft claim thay don't refund.
Thay claim its their policy yet sometime do a refund, thay claim its due to administration when all thay donis foward the fine via email and don't even wait for it to be transfered into your name.
If I fine is cancelled due to error surly you should NOT have to pay but we theft has their own rules.
Oh and thay flag your reviews because you speak the truth and not a sole from the company contacts you and you can never get through on the phone to discuss anything.

⚠️ Strong warning to new drivers ⚠️
My experience with WeFlex has been one of the most frustrating and costly I’ve had.
The vehicle I received was in a poor and unacceptable condition, with multiple issues that were not properly disclosed before I started. Despite this, I was still expected to continue and ended up facing charges that were not clearly explained upfront.
When I tried to raise these concerns, I struggled to get clear or consistent answers. The support I received did not properly address the issues, which only added to the stress and financial impact.
The lack of transparency, combined with the condition of the vehicles and how problems are handled, made this a very negative experience for me.
Based on what I went through, I would strongly advise any new driver to think carefully and fully understand the risks before getting involved
I’m disappointed with WeFlex and how they handle customers’ credit files.
They are placing a substantial financial amount on your credit report, which can seriously harm your credit profile and it feels completely unnecessary. No other PCO company operates like this. None. Regardless of the agreement value, this simply isn’t standard practice across the industry.
What makes this worse is that WeFlex are supplying second-hand vehicles (e.g. 73 plates, effectively around three years old), yet still recording extremely high figures such as £98,000 for a vehicle like an EQE on customers’ credit files. This is disproportionate and unfair.
Other companies in the same space, such as Splend,fleeto, and otto,do not place these kinds of inflated amounts on your credit file, even when providing newer vehicles (25/26 plates). So the question is: why is WeFlex (UGW) doing this?
This practice negatively impacts customers’ ability to obtain finance elsewhere and damages trust.
I am still waiting for this to be removed from my credit file. Please resolve this urgently.

Ahmed helped me with the pick-up and drop-off of the courtesy car (I had to have my car repaired for two weeks). He was not only kind, friendly, and helpful, but also paid attention to every detail and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. The best!

I have been with WeFlex for over 4 years and have matured my contract and own the car.
