Submitted our passport renewals at the Post Office on 30 October and received new ones on 8 November. We were kept informed every step of the way. Thank you for your quick and efficient service.

They have misplaced my passport and have been sitting on the application for the last 4 weeks and havent even confirmed where the passport is... absolutely horrible service!!!

Ordered my passport by standard online application (not fast track) on Monday 28th Oct 2024 but had to post my old passport before they could process and print my new one, so I posted my old passport same day as application above and my new passport was delivered this morning Friday 1st Nov 2024! Notified every stage of the application via txt and email from both Passport office and Royal Mail. Surprised and delighted at the level of service, 5*****!

What a service. Did a renewal online on a Saturday and new passport arrived on the Thursday. Very impressed!!

Beyond impressed. Chased me for four days to send in old passport via email and SMS - it was a weekend. Post Office took three days to deliver 'first' class signed for. Approved within 45 minutes of arrival and printed within a day (digital photo.) This isn't Amazon, it's the Passport Office. Great stuff. Thanks.

Wow!! In this country where pretty much everything is broken, this has restored my faith! Efficient way beyond any expectation. Wow!

While the staff are certainly nice and polite, the customer service leaves much to be desired. They struggle to update applications, yet they require people to renew their passports online. I can’t help but wonder how older individuals, who may not be familiar with online applications, are expected to navigate this process successfully.

Brilliant service, easy to use and very quick . My wife and I got our renewed passports within 7 days on the Standard service.

Easy to do. O it’s very quick to apply. My passport was here within 6 days of my application with updates during the process. Fantastic service.

Staff rude and entitled. Do not read the notes their colleagues have previously put on the system and delay applications by needlessly requesting the same information several times.

Puppy chewed my passports 6 days before I was due to go on holiday. The Passport office were brilliant had a replacement passport two days beforeI was due to travel

Applied for renewal online on Thursday evening. Uploaded a photo taken with my phone - no need to pay for a booth. Throughout the process, I got 5 texts confirming receipt of application, instructions of where to send my old passport and to confirm what stage the application was at. Royal Mail were in touch separately with a delivery slot although using their link, I was able to switch to collect from the post office due to being at work and living in an inaccessible flat. Passport was delivered and collected on the following Thursday so exactly 7 days start to finish. Couldn't have been easier.

Needed to renew my passport before it expired
My daughter is pregnant and I was worried my new passport would be delayed. No need to worry. Marvelous standard service - back in 5 days and kept informed all the way.
If only the rest of Government worked so well and efficiently. WELL DONE.

I PAID FAST T IN APRIL . THEY DID NOT DELIVER AND STILL WAITING. THEY CANCELLED APPTS AND DID NOT MAKE APPTS AND LIED. THEY MADE ME LOSE A JOB AND MY CAREER REPUTATION AS A RESUL OF NO FULLFILLING CONT. NO REFUND NO EXPLANATION. TOOK TTHEM 2 MONHS FOR PAULINE IN CUSOMER SERVICES TO SAY IT WS DUE O MULIPLE PASSPOR LOSS BUT HIS IS BS AS THAT DOES NO APPLY WITH FAS TRACK ITIS MISFEANCE AND TTHEY HAVE DONE HIS 4X BEFORE. MICHELLE BLOOM LIED ABOU HE ZOOM AND MR JULIUS SHENOBI IS HE MANAGER AND HERE IS A CLEAR ABUSE OF POWER AND DISCRIMINATION IEC REFUSED TO INVESTIGATE. SURPRISE SURPRISE. DISGUSTING.

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I applied online, paid for my passport, and sent my birth certificate, along with several of my friends as ID confirmations. Despite all this, my application was repeatedly refused. Eventually, they closed my account, leaving me with no access to log in. They kept my money, have not issued a refund, and have not returned my birth certificate.

When I tried to file a complaint, I was sent around in circles, with no resolution. They claim they can't find any record of my case, which is completely baffling. It's utterly unacceptable to treat customers this way, and I have not received my money back from these thieves.

I got my new passport sent to Dubai, where I am in currently on Tourist visa.
Far more simple and efficient and fast than I thought it would be
Only confusion is at start of application, I’m asked ‘where do I live?’
The answer is country I have currently travelled to and residing shortly as a tourist
(I had to phone them up to find that out)
Ofcourse the photo, I went up the road here in Dubai into photo shop and paid them 5£ and showed them the specifications, I did not dare do that my self
After getting passport photo, the rest of the application was seamless!
And then the payment etc was just as smooth.
Whole process , including me sending my old passport to the passport office in Uk and them sending it back to Dubai took exactly 21 days
And 8 of those days was time it took for my old passport to get from Dubai to Uk
Once they received my passport , they used DHL courier to send it back to Dubai and it came super fast.
I received messages all the way through the process

Amazing service. I applied on the 3/8/24 for a renewal on a UK passport that lapsed in Jun24. I received regular email and text updates and confirmation the passport was being issued on the 8/8/24 - only five calendar days later! It is rare to be pleasantly surprised by the UK governments performance but the service has been excellent. Maybe the people in the passport office should run the HMRC. Well done.
