I am SO impressed with the whole procedure for renewing my passport. The instructions were very clear and I did the whole thing on line myself including taking the photo. It took 14 days from start to finish and I received email and texts updating me on every step. A brilliant service!

I am having a terrible time trying to get my passport returned to me as it was mistakenly returned to the passport office by the dvla instead of to my home address but today a lovely helpful and very kind lady called Roberta has helped me enormously thank u

Appalling process of verifying identity for a passport application from Australia. Terrible form design led to misreading options, then got locked out of the process altogether. It doesn't event have back buttons! This is the worst online government form I have ever had the displeasure to engage with. There is no excuse for such poor website design and such an inflexible process that takes no account of human factors.

Applied for my newborns first passport. From the day I applied online to receiving 15 days.. which is a fantastic turnaround. I did have to post off my birth certificate and newborns.. also received these back. I received updates via text and email regarding progress. Great service. Many thanks

Applied online, sent old passport via 2nd class post late on Monday, new passport arrived on Saturday, and updated on progress throughout. Top class service.

Applied for a new passport on Friday evening on line.. received a text right away to say they had received it.. I then received texts every stage that my application went through.. I received my new passport on Wednesday lunchtime.. How great was that…

I needed a new passport and expected it to take the 3 weeks for the standard service.
Completed on line application on the Monday and got new passport back on the Thursday of same week.

I was so impressed by the online service. Easy to upload a photograph and have it approved, having received very clear directions on how to take a suitable image. Received my new passport in two weeks, during which time I received texts informing me at what stage my passport application was at.

Applied on Saturday morning, dispatched passport that afternoon. Received passport lunchtime on Friday (6 days later). Fully informed of the evolving process by SMS throughout. Outstanding service, this is best practice - congratulations.

Lack of communication from passport office. Expected to phone them after submitting documents despise this never being communicated. Complaints procedure is the same sentence repeated multiple times.

Applied for my first ever adult passport on the 21st May, i’m due to fly on 20th June and therefore asked the passport office to add an additional urgent travel note to my application and by the 9th june my passport had arrived. cannot thank the office enough for taking into consideration my travel date and making sure that my passport arrived in time.

From ordering on line to receipt of passport was 10 days. I used my own photograph taken with my mobile phone and also ordered it on my phone. Simple easy process and very efficient

Suddenly realised when wanting to book a last minute break in France that my passport would be invalid.
A 10 year passport granted early and due to run out weeks after a return to the uk.
Booked a week renewal visit Monday morning at 8:20am in Peterborough Office. Nearest to my home in Birmingham. Had filled in an online application and supplied a digital photo using an online company (£3.95)
Despite having a 200 mile round trip and paying £198 I am happy!
Monday evening confirmation email passport printed. Tuesday morning passport despatched to Royal Mail. Tuesday after notice from Royal Mail passport being delivered ‘Signed For’ Wednesday morning. 48 hours.
Interviewed at the time booked. Out of the Passport office in 10 minutes!

Really quick, smooth and easy process. Do your passport pictures on an official picture app and send everything off promptly. Really quick turnaround - very pleasantly impressed.

I renewed my passport at the start of June and was a little concerned about the stated three-week turnaround as I'm due to travel in early July. Thankfully, there was no need to worry.

I applied online, sent my old passport by recorded delivery on Monday, and my new passport arrived on Wednesday. My old passport is also being returned today. The whole process was incredibly quick and efficient.

I received helpful updates at every stage, including reminders to send off my old passport, which were much appreciated.

I'm often quick to highlight poor service, so it's only fair to do the same for excellent service. A huge thank you to everyone involved – a fantastic experience from start to finish. Well done to the Passport Office team. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Applied online to renew my passport on Wednesday 26 May, using photo booth coded image. The new passport, along with the old cancelled passport arrived this morning, Saturday 30 May. Idiot proof application process with email instructions/updates at each stage. Amazing service. Well done 👍
