Excellent and fast service from application to delivery. Good communication through text and email at each stage.

Ordered my new passport online just over a week ago. The website was easy to use, the whole process took about 1o minutes. I was kept informed every step of the way with text messages and my new passport arrived today. Brilliant service.

I wasn't expecting much from a gov.uk service but this was excellent better than all expectations. Applied on Monday, got it quickly approved, got the new passport by Thursday. Constant updates and zero issues. It was also a quick and easy process to navigate. If only all official applications could be this easy and quick.

I applied for a new passport on Saturday evening - didn't post my old passport until the following Monday morning. I have just received my new passport this morning (Thursday). 4 days from application to receipt of my new passport is incredibly impressive. Thank you!

Very stressful experience. Lots of messages requiring information that were not clear, and repeats. Must an automated haranguing system. It is much more gestapo than before. Must be a sign of the times. Very sad.
Then they go and change the name of my place of birth....

Constantly kept informed on the progress of my new passport,this is the second time I have applied for a new passport and on both occasions they have arrived within a week, outstanding service, Thank you Team.

Went to pre booked appt at passport office on a Friday and new passport arrived in the post Tuesday morning . Kept up to date with progress by passport office texts throughout. Very efficient service.

From start to finish I was kept updated on my passport renewal but between post office and passport office is was great swift service I done my renewal online which was easy then I sent old passport to Passport office and sent it on Monday and had my new one sent back to me by Saturday of the same week.

My application for a new passport has been a nightmare experience. They rejected my nominee to certify my likeness, even though he was one of the approved categories of nominees and I gave full details of his company directorships. I then tried nominating someone else but the response was sent back to me in three successive attempts. The people I spoke to were extremely unhelpful.

Such an amazing service. Realised needed to renew family passports on Thursday morning before Easter bank holiday weekend. Filled in forms/posted back old passports same day. Passports arrived LESS THAN A WEEK LATER which given bank holiday interruptions is amazing. Kept up to date with text messages. Website is simple to use. Five stars!

Sent my old passport on a Saturday morning via second class post. Received update messages and my new passport was delivered on Thursday. Outstanding service

The service was brilliant. The information on gov.uk was clear and easily followed. The people at the passport office were friendly and helpful and the service was perfect.

Applied at 10.50am on Monday, standard service, passport arrived Thursday same week at 10.40am. I did pay for royal mail signed for delivery to return my passport, which I sent on the day of application. Excellent communication throughout. You only tend to here about the passport office when somethings gone wrong, so the hence the review. Well done all involved!!

Utterly incompetent and mainly obstructive with complete imbeciles at the helm
Not only do they not understand a simple task of please return ALL documentation they're obstructive when trying to get all documentation!
One would presume there should be some level of intelligence with members of staff - clearly not!

Complete lack of professionalism

The online application process is easy to follow.
And I thought relatively inexpensive at approximately NZD300. However, it was not clear that I would need to obtain a copy of the person verifying my identity's passport until after they had completed the verification process. Make sure you get a copy of the photo page of their passport when you ask them to verify, if you are on a tight time frame.
It was just good luck that I had my dad's original birth certificate. A very old certified copy was accepted for the marriage certificate.
The longest delay was the time it took to send the passport application from Auckland to the UK. This cost NZ$126 and took 14 days, via NZ Post. And you need to file a customs declaration (to avoid standing in line at the Post Office twice).
Once received by the passport office, my passport was approved and printed within 8 days.
I have been notified by DHL that it will be received next week, 6 days after printing.
The passport office advised that it would approximately 3 weeks before I receive my documents back, and they are sent separately to the passport.

I am amazed with the whole process of renewing my passport. Such an efficient service with keeping informed of what stage of the process and the speedy delivery-Royalmail first class on time. The whole process from application to receiving my new passport only 12 days. And didn't pay extra for a fast application. Super service thank you 😊
