This comment refers to the Anima GP on line system recently introduced by the NHS when contacting your local GP surgery.
I cannot believe that anyone would be so stupid as to introduce such a pathetic and badly designed system. It is utter nonsense and those responsible should be sacked.
Having lived and worked in mainland Europe for over 30 years I am astounded that the UK government would introduce such a poor system which serves no one. The NHS is a joke. The system of GP surgery services is a joke. The UK is so far behind other European countries it is embarrassing. The only choice seems to be to go private. The NHS is finished.

Surprise, surprise, the NHS may have been fit for purpose, but is no longer fit for purpose beyond the free health care. Inferring from the Trustpilot NHS platform comments, the UK ''needs'' to follow comparable European countries and place more importance on capital spending, healthcare outcomes, life expectancy, et al. Fair comment, no?

Yesterday I attempted to access my info and the password was deemed incorrect.
The password is used on a regular basis and now it is incorrect???
To try and correct this error has been a nightmare of gigantic proportions.
They send password links that do not work and as for the camera so much useless information
Your wasting your time
The NHS is now a dinosaur. You are waiting months for an appointment, no matter what Starmer and Streeting say your waiting months. You try to call and nobody answers the phone, answer machines, you leave a message and nobody calls back. You try change and appointment and you just cannot get hold of anyone so that appointment gets missed and try to blame us. The doctors are really interested and do the basics, you eventually get the appointment and then they cancel it. Starmer and Streeting are lying as the NHS is not getting better, it's worse. I found it a very stressful experience trying to talk to the right person, bit got nowhere. Just get rid of it and it's flash titles for staff and start again.

Had occasion to attend A&E with my husband @ DGRI as he is a laryngectomy patient they have taken away the service at Speech&language department and transitioned him to Livingston as it is a specialised field why do they seem to think that this is the best way forward do not think so and perhaps if he had been examined he would not have been poorly since November you get through a battle with Cancer and then you have to do same to get a service which is the best outcome for the patient
MY VISIT TO THE DISGUSTING DUMP OF WEST SUFFOLK HOSPITAL 16 JANUARY 2026
I was referred by a doctor Mr Fayez-Fahmy for an MRI scan here I came on the 16th of January 2026 at radiology in Your hospital West Suffolk Hospital. I was disgusted with the level of lack of hygiene in the place. The Disabled toilet I had to access was disgraceful there was masking tape all over the door, the tap didn’t work in the bathroom. It was a disgrace there was rubbish strewn around not just on the floor, but on the sink as well. The toilet itself was a disgrace stinking unclean. The level of neglect in the building itself said a lot about your trust. An absolute disgrace and even near the Macmillan unit you could clearly see there was tiling that was broken and obviously behind that asbestos clearly open for people to breathe in and they Staff most typical of NHS anyway looking down at old Patients coming in. And they only people who had any nice and genuine care for people attending the hospital were of course volunteer staff who were there to assist people to access various places. I will never attend that hospital I would never recommend anybody attend the for public health reasons. It’s the most disgusting place I have ever seen. No one could ever call it a place to go to for any kind of healthcare. There’s no care there no care in any NHS service services at the moment all made to make money from desperate Patients and all those patients neglected and abandoned. I feel sorry for the Cleaners because it’s quite clear from the state of the building. It’s impossible to clean everywhere. The building structure is falling apart lack of maintenance. No one there even attempting to make it safe. It’s not a place I would call a hospital. It’s a place where you would go to become ill not be helped to get better if you would want to become ill that is obviously it’s a place where some spaces were made into units to commercialise, including the Macmillan Centre and a place where you could buy various objects for consumption if you dared to.
Undermining parents common sense!!
I'm furious to have just watched an advert on ITVx giving advice to parents. What an undermining, derogatory advert to all new parents!!! For heaven sake!! How much money has been wasted on this advert? Let alone the cost of the tiny minded people who thought it up(do they have children? I think not. If so. Did they need to be told how to tell their children how to clean their teeth?? I think not!!! Great spend NHS. I think NOT!!!!!!!

Still here 13 hours later and no doctor - this is with a letter from a walk in centre asking for a fast consultation.
Waiting times are untrue on arrival as initially said 3 hours- then moved to a different waiting area for a further 4 hours- then told we had been sent to the wrong area.
Staff cold and unhelpful.
Hospital dirty and full of regulars through the night using A&E as a place to sleep
Most horrible dept
It is one of the worst departments in the UK. They waste public money and time. Doctors seem more focused on closing cases and discharging patients than on helping with their issues or illnesses. They seem to prioritize higher salaries over providing value and service to the public.
WEST HALLAM MEDICAL CENTRE
I would be interested to know if anyone who can change anything, would read the reviews at WEST HALLAM MEDICAL CENTRE?
The NHS Constitution says The NHS belongs to the people.
No stars for a badly run doctors surgery.
The doctors surgery in Eye seems to demonstrate a lack of compassion or genuine concern with unprofessional behaviour with patients. This is a true story regarding my friend.
On arriving at her 80-year-old house bound mother on Wednesday 12th November 2025, her mother explained that the chiropodist that had seem her that morning noticed her left finger looked very swollen around her wedding ring, and she advised her to see the doctor as it looked possible infected.
She said she had called the doctors several times and you are just placed in a long queue, so she tried the number only to find the same issue left on hold on call number 3 for ages. The surgery is only a ten-minute walk, so she proceeded to surgery with a photo of the swollen finger. It was 11:30 am that morning and the surgery was locked she could not open the door and she could see patients in the waiting area.
She pressed the doorbell several times and finally a receptionist came from the back and let in her.
The pictures of the swollen finger was shown to the receptionist, who didn’t seem concerned and said call an ambulance or take her to A&E. The surgery knows her mother’s history that she is house bound and has been since my father passed away in 2022 and that she is prone to panic attacks and would struggle with mobility issues to get into a taxi.
“When did this receptionist suddenly become a qualified clinician/or dictator.”
They must be employing staff with low IQ’s and training them down again, anyone with any level of common sense & customer/people training, would have said, we are fully booked at the moment, including our nurses, but if you don’t mind waiting in reception, If I could take your phone to the doctor/nurse when they are free, I get some advice on what to do. Nope you must call for an ambulance.
When she arrived back at my mothers, they called the district nursing team and one did come out and advised to get my mother to A & E to have her wedding ring cut off. Again, they reiterated that we would not be able to get my mother out the house. The district nurse department called later that day and said get the fire brigade out, which we did and they came out within half an hour and cut the ring off and they received a nice donation in the post for their time. But they advised she should get a doctor to look at it.
Why are these alleged so-called professional people hiding in their surgeries, asking the public to call out the emergency teams for something trivial, that A & E would say see your local GP or is it a case that it is so undesirably below their own to look at possible infected finger.
I feel there is breaches of duty of care again, which will only lead to premature deaths, like her fathers.
48 hours on her finger is still badly swollen, with sepsis and 18 million individuals worldwide suffering from sepsis, which starts with infections and with the mortality rates ranging from 25% to 30% surely it was a simple task for a doctor to check the patient.
Her sister who is also a carer for her mother has on numerous occasion had issue will the surgery being closed during surgery hours and having to ring the door to be let in to drop off a prescription.

Not worth the money
Not worth the money. If you are in pain take a pill, sod the cure.
If you go in with a broken leg they want to know what your bowel movements are like
Harrow Health ADHD clinic
If I could give Harrow Health zero stars, I would. I had an appointment scheduled for this morning at 9:30am via video link. The clinic's normal practice is to send a link shortly before the appointment begins. I understand that clinicians sometimes run late. However, almost 20 minutes later, no-one had sent the link or bothered to call. I sent an email at 9:48am. No response. I then tried calling. Having been on hold for 20 minutes, I gave up. As I write this, it is now 10:30am and no-one has contacted me.
To simply not show up to an appointment, with no explanation and no phone call or e-mail, is appalling. I am surprised that an organisation comprised of doctors and other clinical staff would exhibit such an inordinate level of unprofessionalism.
