Poor customer service and online platform is unreliable
I've had a couple of savings accounts with Community Finance. Opened them for high rates.
Rating this low for customer service. It takes days for them to answer emails, and even then, processes are confusing and instructions are unclear. It took me a couple of weeks just to update my banking info with their team...only for them to come back to me a week later and request it again.
Their website is down last two days. No way of checking balance or interest.
I am not keeping my savings with them again.

Interest is just too high
Interest is just too high. The rate i got was higher than what was advertised by Credit Karma as pre-approved. Also, customer service wasn't really the best.

Folks. Be very careful of this so called ethical organisation. Allegedly buried deep down in their term's and conditions any account maturity over the weekend is held to next business working day and then another 48 hours payment period is applicable. If you make a fuss then you might be lucky to get it at the close of business the day you make contact. Can't seem to find the so called clauses reference too so raised formal complaint as Can't be put through to the complaints department by phone.
Ironically gave instructions before the maturity date and was ensured would be activated on the maturity date with no statement would sit on matured funds for 4 days earning no interest.

Fast, friendly service loan process
My experience was very positive. The application was simple, the person I spoke to on the phone was helpful, and my loan was approved quickly after the call, which really reduced my stress.

Absolutely shocking company
Absolutely shocking company, if you ever get into difficulties which you are struggling to pay when its not your fault for whatever reason, DO NOT HAVE A LOAN WITH THIS COMPANY, they will not help you and will harass you even though you have already spoke to them beforehand. and interest rates are shocking, took a 15k out and I got to pay 28k back. At the time I needed the money. Wish I didn't went with this company now.
