Worst Supplier ever! Go to Insight UK instead

I ordered a HP microserver for a good price from Misco as they had stock. Only to find out that once the order was excepted that the delivery was going to take 10 days. I then received another email a few days later saying stock wont be available until 3 weeks later.

The customer service is shocking and I honestly have no idea how this company manages to supply some large organisations with equipment. I am an IT engineer and our company order from Insight UK who are a rival to Misco and they are leaps ahead in all aspects. I will never order from Misco again either personally or professionally

Dreadful - don't waste your time!

Ordered a tablet from them for a bargain price (had my doubts that it was genuine or would be honoured when I ordered), only to find that a couple of days later there was an email from PayPal saying that the money was being refunded.

No explanation as to why from Cisco, and I am fuming that they advertised the item for sale at one price (when they obviously had no intention of ever honouring it) and didn't even bother giving a reason to the customer as to why it was cancelled.

Take my advice (please) and don't use this shambolic excuse for a company.

Stay well clear of these amateurs!

Misco are a poor, in fact probably the worst company I have dealt with.
Upon ordering through their website on a "live stock" policy - there was clearly enough stock when I ordered...or why would the system have allowed me to order?...right??!....wrong - or apparently so!

Opted for a three day delivery...only to have an email on the third day to explain that my order was cancelled due to "no stock availability."

This is the third time in a matter of months that Misco have done this.

Do yourself a favour - save the hassle and pain and order from a reputable company and pay that little bit extra; because if their front end service is like this - god knows what their aftercare service is like!

order deleted and didnt even let me know

Whether they're incompetant or just trying to get more money out of me i dont know. This is the second time that theyve taken an order online and then cancelled it afterwards with no explanation.
They don't let you know, you've just to wait in and after a few days when the stuff doesn't arrive, then I think you're just meant to assume.

It's not that the items is out of stock either, a few days later it was still on there website but at a higher price so maybe its just some underpaid idiots that are sticking the wrong prices on stuff.

How difficult is it to link your website to your stock control?
It doesn't surprise me that misco gets mainly one star reviews. A total waste of time. grrr

Awful customer service

Placed an order 8 th of September for a cello 10" table order deleted no explanation no email don't bother awful customer service.

OMG were to start Avoid At all Cost not worth the hassle or time

Placed order 6 sep site stated 3 day delivery on third day I checked my order status and seen "back order" so rang them I was told don't worry stock was coming to day and would be shipped and I would get tomorrow being today .
Today came goods never so got onto them again today then was told it would not be in stock until 2 oct in that colour but I could have in different colour by tomorrow and they would do free next day delivery great i thought the was a problem they said they would have to cancel first order send me refund and I would have to order on site from start again pay full amount again including the 9.99 for next day delivery and they would refund the shipping back to me again .
still not over
I then get email wondering why I was so upset and was told they did not see my point at all (WHAT!!!!)
I tried to tell them
1 false delivery day on site
2 fobbed off on phone
3 hassle of being refunded and having to go to site and start from beginning again
4 paying for so called free next day delivery and wait for refund yet again which up to now have not had 6.12 pm .
Still not finished lol (you got to laugh or you would cry)
I have now just received an email saying my next day delivery items will not be shipped until tomorrow even tho order was place around 3 pm
rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
so not only they charge me for next day delivery but then they don't ship until they feel like and don't give promised refund back as stated in email.
So needless to say i will be back on to them tomorrow

Oh yes one last thing the person who I dealt with has denied me access to a manager even tho I have asked in email at least 4 times just keeps fobbing me off

No Problems at all

I read all these reviews on here after ordering an Apple Mac from them and was beginning to worry about what I had done. I guess it is mostly the disatissfied that post so as a happy customer thought I should try and redress the balance a wee bit. I ordered an Apple Mac and although there was an initial hiccup, with a missing email regarding the need for ID, when this was sorted, (within the hour), all went smoothly. Their customer service was brilliant and prompt and my advice to anyone dealing with this company is to read the reviews on their website where you will get a more balanced idea of how satisfied or not people have been with them.

Awful - nightmare to deal with

I ordered a tv off their clunky website only to be asked by someone in hungary for my passport details as proof of address! The TV said in stock - three days delivery - i then received an email with a huge document attached the gist of which was it would not be delivered for two months. I tried to answer, but the message came back that you could not reply to that email - eventually i found a service email which never responded - i had to make a call and eventually they agreed to cancel the order. Hopeless waste of time - not sure why they bother

Dodgy Dealers or incompetent idiots?

Misco.co.uk advertised as "in stock" a NAS device at a reasonable price. I placed an order online and they took payment immediately. They sent an email saying the order wasn't confirmed until they said it was. By the next day (Sunday) they sent an email which said the order was confirmed. I heard nothing then until Tuesday and was told by email they were cancelling the order and tried to shift the blame on to their suppliers. They by the way have hidden in small print on their site, that they don't except cancellations by email. They also said they would refund payments, but it could take 10 days.

Worst service ever!

They keep you on hold for ages.
When you finally speak to a sales person, they take your order and then fail to process it.
2 weeks later, when I chased up, they are totally unaware of the order.
Pathetic, how do they stay in business.

Rubbish

Ordered playstation 4. Took my money. 24 hours later money refunded without explanation. Currently ignoring my emails as to why order was cancelled without my consent.

Don't touch with any sort of barge pole.

No item, just a cancelled payment

They had a product advertised for sale, they haven't informed me of cancelling my order, just cancelled the payment through paypal. The email confirmation you receive isn't an order, it's just a confirmation to then see if the product is available, don't advertise something if you don't have it?

Superb Service!

I ordered an iPad Mini 2 128 GB for £301.85, which includes a £4.99 charge for 1-3 delivery service. I bought it on Sunday 14th June, and I received it 2 days later on the tuesday. It was brand new and sealed. I think I was lucky getting it for this price as the item was unavailable the next day, so perhaps it was the last one! A great price and a top quality product. I'm very happy with my purchase. Thank you Misco for a First Class Service.

Don't waste your time

Shocking to deal with, customer service is non-existent. If you are unfortunate to use them, I do hope you never have to return anything/ get a credit note for any of the items.
Even expressing my concerns I still get Account Managers calling me to get business. UNACCEPTABLE

Avoid

Have tried them in Sweden and Ireland for our business, both were bad but Ireland was the absolute worst. Items showing up that we didn't order (and being billed for), being billed for items that we didn't order AND didn't show up, being promised deliveries in days that turned into weeks, when issues with items just told to go talk to manufacturer etc etc.

Telling them about issues is like speaking to a brick wall, every time they send us an invoice for something we didn't order we respond explaining the issue to multiple addresses including their finance teams - no response. You can call them and they'll say they'll look into it - no response. Just keep sending you invoices.

I wanted to have a more local supplier for our Dublin office but this just got ridiculous, I quickly reverted back to our supplier that is based in the UK, a few extra quid shipping is well worth actually being able to rely on correct items and bills every month.

For Sweden branch of Misco there were issues with delays and missing items, but at least with them they actually seemed keen and responsive to sort out any issues.

Stole my money

Paid for good via BACS, never received goods and never received my money back, almoist a year now and still fighting to get my money back.

Don't shop with them.

A pain when things go wrong

A pain when things go wrong. I refused delivery of an item. Then kept waiting considerable time for a refund. No way of contacting someone in UK, call centre is in Hungary. I would not recomend, I will never use Misco again. At this time I am still trying to get my money back. Paypal dispute opened.

Don't buy from Misco

Unfortunately that seller is Misco and are currently refusing to refund!
Last word from Misco is: "the credit note should arrive from Lenovo, please turn to them."
Buy from reputable company, as unfortunately with Misco if anything goes wrong then it's an uphill struggle to resolve.
