New double glazed windows are top quality. Highly recommend
Do not use this company
Do not use this company. Cannot deliver what they promise. Multiple reasons / issues.
Breach of Contract / Mis-Selling an agreement / promises that were not delivered.
Key points:-
Delayed start
A project that was supposed to be days turned into (5) weeks + a day
Roughcastors turned up late left early
Did not turn up when they said they would turn up
Flirting between other jobs
Forgetting their own tools / equipment / materials and using my tools which I loaned to them to assist in job progress / continuation.
Homesealed not carrying out my express instructions in relation to whom I wanted to settle loan agreement
Leaving out finishing of coping stones which should have been included in the quote for walls. I was left to render and prepare the coping stones atop the walls myself
Lack of two-way retailer / customer communication in writing via direct messages and emails
Skip Hire uplift and driveway wall damage
Homesealed citing weather conditions as a delay factor they have no control over. To be fair to the roughcasters they were only impacted by a day and a half of raining so were completely rained off which is understandable
The other remaining weekdays were really good fair weather, warm & sunny days making weather conditions favourable for this type of outdoor work.
After Roans initial visit on Wed 15th July he said their surveyor would come along to check his measurements and make sure all aspects of the project were good to go. This never happened. Martin Campbell in charge of the roughcasters did a site recce on Tuesday 28th July ahead of the job commencing.
The roughcasting job finally got underway on Thursday 06 Aug and finally finished on Thursday 20th August. Two full weeks just dealing with the roughcasting that was only supposed to take 3-5 days as quoted by Roan at the concept.

Just had work done by this company. Absolutely second to none.
Would not trust this company at all
Would not trust this company att all. Called my elderly mum who arranged a visut to my mums home to talk about having front and back door replaced. Got my mun to take out a loan of over £6000 for 2 pvc doors, prices that I think is way over priced. Charged my mum £100's to complete an application for loan and work. Rep tried to help my mum access her bank account to complete the application, when I received notification he was trying to register her online banking on his phone. No affordability checks made. I came home just as he was leaving. I'd hate to think what would have happened if I wasnt around.
Great experience ⭐️
Everyone at the Homesealed team have gone above and beyond to make sure our experience is stress free.
Ryan who came initially to sell us the windows was so knowledgeable and friendly. He spoke in detail about what we needed, cost, efficiency and how to make manageable payments (as windows are an expense!) He was very supportive and not pushy at all.
Claire was always on hand to answer ongoing questions. She was supportive and patient with our various queries.
The boys Mark and Craig who fitted the windows could not have been nicer. They were so helpful and friendly. As a girl who lives by herself, it can sometimes be daunting to have tradesmen in your house but they made me feel so comfortable.
They did a cracking job, tidied and then spoke me through everything. I am really pleased with the final outcome. I will be recommending homesealed to friends and neighbours!
Not a good experience.
Had windows fitted Feb '23. Found later that three windows were not properly sealed. The base of the window frame was not sealed in the study, bedroom & living room. Rectified by myself on the ground floor & a local tradesman. As of August 2026 I have had a window mechanism & handle fail. Luckily the window is in the closed position. Keeping all windows closed now for fear they may fail when open & then fail to close. Relying on ventilation through the vents only & downstairs doors.
Had our double glazing replaced…
Had our double glazing replaced recently by Homesealed. Work was good and men kept house tidy and took away all old windows. We had a couple of minor installation issues which were dealt with very quickly by Homesealed. Also, salesperson had advised that if we took out a loan and repaid in full before the first payment was due, then no interest would be charged. This turned out not to be correct and we were charged interest after settling in full after 3 weeks. This issue was resolved quickly by Homesealed to our satisfaction. All in happy with the work carried out and this company in general.
Let me take you on a journey
Preamble: If the finished roof lasts as long as it should, then credit where it’s due. From what I can tell, the workmanship itself looks good. The boys on site were friendly, kept me updated when they were actually here, and tidied up after themselves.
If you’re looking for a company to replace your roof, just make sure you don’t have any plans for the next month and happy with the idea of a toss of a coin whether your street will end up like a scene from a disaster movie. Well, you feeling lucky punk? (Don’t be a punk like me!)
I was quoted a conservative estimate of five days. In reality, the whole saga- scaffolding up, roof completed, scaffolding removed – dragged on for just shy of a month. Even now, around a month after the scaffolding came down, I’m still waiting for the car port roof to be put back on after being assured it would be reinstated once the scaffold was removed. Apparently “we’ll put it back” translates to “we’ll see how patient you are.”
The roof itself appears to be well done, and the roofers on site were friendly, approachable and cleaned up after themselves. They deserve credit for that. Unfortunately, they seemed to be working for a company whose logistics department was apparently run using a Magic 8 Ball.
The skip sat full for around two weeks, meaning half my roof had to wait until the third elevation could be stripped so all the tiles could go on together. Meanwhile, the scaffolding had been erected well in advance, complete with piles of materials dumped across my front lawn for over a week, killing a large section of the grass and making the garden unusable. My lawn still hasn’t recovered. I paid for a new roof, not an experiment into whether turf can photosynthesise under pallets of roofing materials.
Then came the part that genuinely stopped being funny.
The scaffold was left fully loaded with roof tiles from Friday until Wednesday. During that time, it slid down the grassy bank at the front of my property. One side was literally hanging in mid-air while the whole structure had developed an impressive bow in the middle. It looked less like professional scaffolding and more like something from a Road Runner cartoon.
I contacted the company. No urgency. No meaningful response. No callback. One day I hope to hear from the infamous James that apparently arranges all these things… organising call backs along with logistics doesn’t seem to be his strong suit
I became so concerned that I took a day’s annual leave simply to make sure nobody parked underneath it because I genuinely thought it might collapse fully loaded with tiles.
When the scaffolders finally arrived, they were visibly horrified. They described it as dangerous, propped up the now “magically levitating” leg to stop it getting worse, but quite rightly refused to dismantle or adjust the scaffold while it remained loaded because they believed it could collapse and they would be liable. So it remained like that for another day.
To this day I’m amazed nothing happened. The fact that neither the police nor the council took any interest doesn’t make it any less concerning. I have photographs of the scaffold in that condition and I’m still considering forwarding them to the relevant authorities because I genuinely don’t believe appropriate health and safety procedures were followed.
What really summed up the experience was that I found myself acting as the middleman between the roofers, scaffolders and skip company because the office never seemed to know what was arriving, when it was arriving, or whether it had arrived at all.
I hired a roofing company because I wanted someone else to organise the contractors. I didn’t expect to become the bloody project manager.
So yes, the roof looks good. But getting there involved delays, poor communication, chaotic logistics, a front garden sacrificed to the roofing gods, an unresolved car port roof, and a scaffold that briefly appeared to be auditioning for Final Destination.
I was told on completion I’d receive a guarantee through the post, I’m still waiting, I’m now so seasoned at waiting I have a PHD in delayed gratification.
Would I use them again?
Only if I had a month to spare, fancied a career in construction management, and didn’t mind living next to what looked like a health and safety training video
AVOID Homesealed!
AVOID THIS FIRM!
Poor installation quality resulting in the front door bottom sill not secure to the door and the door frame not square to the door.
We are now on our 5th visit by customer repair person after the first 2 visits resulted in them turning up with the wrong sill (1st wrong colour. 2nd wrong size).
3rd visit repair person didn't have the sill. 4th visit the same person turned up and told my wife he didn't know what was wrong so he couldn't do anything.
Today (06/07/26), their repair person turned up. Stopped outside our house. I went to the door. He got out of his van, looked at me, and then got back in and drove off.
I immediately phoned them and the girl said she didn't understand why he'd done that.
I confirmed that they had my correct address: 21 *****.
15 Minutes later he turned up and parked two houses down the road (not outside our house).
I walked up to the van and he asked me where No 10 was?
He was on the phone to the girl I had previously spoken to (hearing her say my name).
I asked him if he was looking for me? He said No 10?
I said no, I gave my name and the number (No 21).
He said he'd got No 10.
He came to my house and started the work and while doing so I rang the firm and told the girl my address was No 21, not No 10.
She said 'Is that all you're calling about? I'm terminating the call' and hung up.
The repair person fitted a new sill and said he'd have to call back to rectify the un-square door frame as he didn't have the part to fix it (knowing what the fault was from his last visits).
I'm glad we didn't take them up on their 'over the top' £18,000 for 10 windows estimate to replace our double glazing they gave. We instead got a recommended firm who did the job for £7,800 and everything is fitted correctly and works perfectly.

Very poor service and workmanship
Extremely disappointed!
Got New gutters fitted. Turned up in a white van no uniforms no ID. Fitted fascia boards and guttering onto wood that is 50 years old. Was expecting new wood to be fitted. Also when fitting they damaged the decking balustrades. Drilled holes in to post to try and fix it. Didn't say anything when they were finished. Just left. When we reported the damage the next day they denied they had done it. Company wants to replace balustrade with a cheaper one. Left plastics and old bits of gutter in front garden. It rained 3 days later and water came gushing out of one of the joints in the new gutters.
Now awaiting brand new gutters to be fixed and balustrates to replaced like-for-like.
Turpin does not have a look in here!!!
ALMOST 4 MONTHS AND STILL NO REFUND NOR COMMUNICATION !!!!
My mother and stepfather, who are 80 years old and my mother is confused, received a telephone call from this company offering windows under the guise of a government scheme. As they had work done to the house 2 years previously, that did not cost them anything, they believed, with the wording used, that this would be free, and with them needing 2 new windows in the house, they showed an interest.
A salesman arrived and within first meeting my mother, must have noticed that there was a problem with her memory/ confusion. She has also suffered from nerves and anxiety my whole life. After a very long schpiell he eventually quoted a price of just under £4,000 for 2 standard sized windows. This price included a £399 administration fee. My stepfather told him repeatedly that this was far too much and that they could not afford this ( stepdad was a joiner and worked for a well known double glazing firm before retirement so knew this was overpriced ) My stepfather told him twice that they wanted to wait until i was home from a trip as i deal with everything for them. He then put all sales effort into my mother instead and after an hour and a half of sales tequnique in their home, my mother handed over £690 that he advised had to be paid that day. When i got home from my trip my parents were all upset by this and i read the contract and took consumer advice.
As they were still within their 14 day cooling off period i called homesealed up, my mother gave permission over the phone for me to discuss and act on their behalf, as did my stepdad. Initially they were happy to do this. That all changed as soon as i asked for a full refund( as stated on their contract) i was told i had to put this in writing and i emailed them immediately to cancel. Received a confirmation email back that day that they had received it. This all happened 18/2/26 and then it was constant messages, calls and emails back and forth. I have been lied to repeatedly in regards to getting refunded by them and then they said unless they had a copy of mums power of attorney, they would no longer discuss her account with me, however they have her bank details and STILL HAVE NOT REFUNDED HER ACCOUNT WITH £690 PAID TO THEM. 2 months have gone past and they have not contacted her and have ignored calls and requests for call backs. This has now escalated to omnibusman and will go to small claims court if nor resolved. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!!!

Unprofessional, disorganised time wasters.
Made enquiries with this company about Scottish government funded windows.
Initially they sent someone round a week before the arranged appointment.
We rescheduled for 10am on a bank holiday Monday, and I was phoned by them the day before to confirm.
Come Monday morning however, having got up early, they have failed to turn up with no contact.
Already had reservations about this scheme as they were pushing us to have two windows when we only need one, and wanting my husband to be here as if it was 1952.
On hearing the ad again they actually refer to "free funding" rather than "free windows" and I suspect this is likely just a hook to get people interested then try and sell you a debt package.
Update - was called three and a half hours after the arranged appointment time by a rude and belligerent female insisting they had called several times earlier in the morning (probably before I tuned my phone on), and that they don't bother keeping appointments unless the customer answers their phone 2 hours prior!
Sorry but I will turn my phone on when I wish on a bank holiday Monday; if you have made an appointment you keep it, this is basic decency.
The company that I have decided to use had no problem turning up to quote at the arranged time, and speaking to me in a respectful and appropriate manner.
It may (or may not) be a little more expensive to fund independently but we are now only paying for one window rather than being pressured into additional unnecessary work, and having the job done on our terms by someone reliable.

Good communication before and after the fitting. The guys installed the windows in a very professional manor, cleaned up afterwards and carried out extremely clean and neat work. A small issue was corrected within a few days. Very happy with the end results.
