Hopeful!

I tried other hair removers before and they never worked. So I took a chance and bought a HeySilky Skin. Im seeing some promising results so far, as im on week 5and my hair growth patters have now changed dramatically. I think I could push out shaving 2 weeks now! Thanks, excited for more results….

I submitted my complaint to ACCC

OMG! I have found out that HeyShittySkin HAS 4 BUSINESS ALERTS & 25 COMPLAINTS on BBB. I can’t post the link here but google: Better Business Bureau and then type in find section HeySilkySkin. You can find info about their UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES.FRAUD! SCAM!

Hi Sarah, I think your response is a joke. It clearly shows me that the company is neither honest or reputable. It’s a SCAM.
You are either just trying to be selective and out of context on purpose or haven’t been fully informed of my latest email. I wrote an email to your company to ask them NOT to send me any promotional messages I received on my phone from Hey Silky a couple of days ago: ‘save extra 15% off with the code LOVE15...’ NO, THANK YOU!!! It looks like you are quite desperate to sell your products at all cost, including deceiving and cheating people. When I got your promotional text message I got upset! How did you get my phone number?! How dare you! Your company costs me only distress and money. I also wonder why you can manage to reply to my reviews on Trustpilot but unable to reply on my emails directly. Isn’t it weird Sarah? Also, I asked you a question why the company refused to accept my unopened, still in the original packaging parcel that I was advised I can send back to you. Have you found out yet what happened? I was very patient for a while. I informed you in one of my emails that I have no other option but to go with my issue further as you were not willing to give my money back or even simply respond to my emails and give some explanations. I strongly advise to all customers that have been ripped off to REPORT this COMPANY to ACCC. Its a SCAM.

I am writing again. I have already submitted my complaint to ACCC! I believe this is the only way I can get my money back as there is no response to my emails from Hey Silky Skin. I hope the company’s dishonest activities will come to an end. Something needs to be done, too many customers have been ripped off.

Do not honor money back guarantee

Edited to add: I always give companies the benefit of the doubt. I contacted the company 72 days after receiving my product, which was months ago. I gave them several opportunities to keep their promise before leaving this review.

Don't do it. Wish I had found this site before!

*Updated with dates and more details based on their reply. Which, by the way, is more than any email I got from their support.*
I ordered a handset on December 25th and the next day got an email with a tracking number; Dec 29th tracking showed "En route to distribution center". I checked it on Jan 14th and there was no new activity to the tracking since the 29th. I emailed them and on Jan 15th got a reply from Allie Linke that said "your order is progressing through our system. Please expect a confirmation email with tracking on/before January 22nd." I waited until Jan 25th, did not get any other emails so I checked the tracking again (number I got in December), it no longer works. I emailed them that day to ask about this and Jan 26th got a reply from Holly Dinning assuring me that "your shipment is currently processing and once progressed further, your tracking will subsequently update." No mention of looking into why my tracking number doesn't work anymore, no help. I replied on same day to request a refund, since their website boasts a 90 day money back guarantee. It's been well over 48hrs and no response. Contacted my bank RE credit card consumer protection and filed a complaint with better business bureau.

Referring to the ACCC and scamwatch

I ordered on the 16 January, and received a ‘your order has been shipped’ email. After checking the tracking using the tracking ID provided AUSPOST confirmed that the parcel has not been shipped. AUSTPOST also noted that some companies/scammers are known to pre-purchase envelopes and use the same tracking ID over and over for items that are never shipped.
I contacted the company and Allie replied stating that the package was shipped and with their ‘trusted facility’ at Australia Post. Australia Post has post offices and bulk mail out depots. Those post offices and depots do not take 18 business days to scan an item (or a bulk mail out). AUSPOST guarantees 2-5 business day delivery for ordinary post and 1-2 (overnight) for express within Australia.
HeySilky Skin needs to be honest. If the order has not been shipped and instead you are waiting on the next shipment of the product to arrive so that you can fill these orders then let customers know that you are out of stock and offer a refund. Don’t say the order was shipped when it was not. That is dishonest.
I will be alerting the ACCC as this looks to be false and misleading advertising by the company and potentially fraud. I will also be requesting my bank to investigate and reverse the transaction.
I urge other unhappy customers to do the same. Australian (and overseas customers) have rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under the ACL it’s unlawful for a company to provide false or misleading information when advertising (among other things).

Poor customer service

I ordered a Hey Silky Skin it took several weeks to get it. I used it for a few weeks the sensor light quit working. After contacting customer service and sending them 3 videos they requested and pics it has been months and still have not gotten it resolved no replacement or refunded my $.
I have requested a refund now as I don't want any products they produce .

Their whole business is scam, guys. They just wanna steal your money. Stay away from these mfkers. They reported my review last time. What about handling problems properly and give my money back? Company is NOT reputable

So, apparently this is one of those "take your money and maybe your order will be shipped- maybe not" companies. I wanted to cancel, was told they would TRY to intercept the package, but no guarantees. I was supposed to either have shipping info or cancellation info no later than TODAY. I placed the order Jan 10th, it is now the 22nd. I have now said to go ahead and ship it, since it has been paid for-- no response. My fear is that my order is somewhere in limbo, where it will not be shipped and my money will not be refunded. I guess next time I will stick with Amazon. Or just take a 100 dollar bill and torch it. Either way, terrible customer service, and I am NOT impressed. Buyer beware!

Not Received and No Response as to Why

I placed my order on January 1, 2021, received an email immediately following confirming my order and that I would receive an additional email in 4-7 days (likely sooner) with a tracking number. As of January 17, 2021, I received no such email so I emailed customer service asking for a status of my order from January 1, 2021. Their response:
Our apologies for the delay, Connie. We will update you once we have updated information about your tracking details. An email will be sent to you.

Duh! My question was where is my product not where is my email! So now it's been 17 days and nothing!

BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Buyer beware! If I could give them ZERO stars, I would.
I ordered this item as a gift for my niece for Christmas. It never arrived. Customer service is rude and does not provide any resolution or help. I spent over $100 on an item that never arrived. The company is aware of this, and is doing nothing to resolve it. I am beyond disappointed. Do NOT buy from them.
I should have checked Trustpilot first, as I see they have done this to other customers as well. This company is a SCAM. Do not believe their reply to me below. My address was complete. No one is trying to help. They are rude and have no intention of resolving the issue.

If there was a zero star option I would…

If there was a zero star option I would pick that. I ordered this last summer in June, after a few weeks of hearing NOTHING, not even a confirmation (however being billed) I thought I had fallen for a scam. It wasn't till over a month later I finally received a shipping confirmation. During this time (BEFORE they had shipped it) I emailed asking for a refund. I recieved NO response. I was determined to get the 90 day money back however READ CAFEFULLY which I thought I had done. They say to email a customer service rep the day it is delievered. I did this as literally email is the ONLY way to contact them. Then it says try it for 70-90 days however here is where they got me, 70-90 days FROM THE ORDER DATE! I'm not sure how I was supposed to be 'trying' it during the month of waiting for it to be shipped? So that cut back my "90" days of trying to 60 days. When I emailed asking about the 90 day money back the only response I got was they told me to try it for a few more weeks. I did so then was told I had exceeded the 90 day period. they TOTALLY doop you into not getting the money back and that being said I DID try and with no results. So all in all, terrible customer serivce, SCAM SCAM SCAM and a worthles piece of junk that doesn't work.
Save your money and get the real deal from a licenced professional - that ACTUALLY works.

Arrived broken

Just got mine yesterday after waiting for it in the mail for a month or two. I was very excited, and it turned on and seemed to be working when I tried changing the power from 1 to 5. But when I go to press the button, nothing happens. I am very disappointed that it arrived broken :(

5 weeks in no change yet..

Hopefully I’ll get to upgrade this review as time goes on. Been using it for 5 weeks- due my 6th session tomorrow. I’m fair skinned with dark hair but not seen much effect yet. Been using level 5 on legs and bikini area and 2 on face, 4 under arms. None of the areas seem any different yet but I’m persevering.

Product seems reasonable quality and it easy to use. Postage took a little while but we are in a global pandemic and I’m overseas so to be expected!

Hey Katey! Thank you for sharing your results and feedback. We would recommend continuing to use your Handset on an intensity which suits you for the full initial 12 weeks. Some additional treatments may be required for particular stubborn areas, which may include the bikini.

Ideally whilst once is recommended you may go over the same treatment area up to 3 times per session to assist to improve results. We recommend a skin patch test prior to ensure compatibility.

BEWARE OF 90 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

Guys , be very careful with the brilliant "90 day money back guarantee" that this company claimed on their website, it's not so straight forward & very tricky.

It's truly my WORST experience to deal with their customer service Representative.
I have made a purchase on Nov 26 and decided to cancel the order just 35 minutes after I placed the order. In about 7 hours later I received a reply that the order has been packed and was already on the way. On the return part , I was told the following:

"Once you receive it, you may return your order for a *refund. To arrange a refund, please contact us once you take delivery of the item and we will provide you with further instructions and a return address.
*This refund is minus the initial real postage fee already incurred, regardless if this was noted a free at checkout, and our Handset must be returned via a fully trackable mail service, please see the real postage fee cost list below which will be deducted from the total."

Shipment was delayed for days as promised on website. So I emailed them asking for return instructions right after I received. Since there was no specific conditions mentioned by them in previous email, I also opened it to have a trial as I thought it's covered by 90 days guarantee. However it's rejected by them as I have opened the box. Note: every email correspondence is almost 12 hours later due to time zone differences.

My request to return under the 90 day guarantee was also rejected as they claimed I did not follow the steps, which is to send a blank email on the day of delivery. Despite I have already raised my intention to return this product SEVERAL times since the day I placed order and the correspondence is on-going, so it's weird that i have to send an initial blank email to the SAME email address just to inform them i would like to join the risk free trial??? I was not even informed by them to send out the blank email in order to join 90 Day Money Back Guarantee as soon as I sent them the photo where the package was opened. So how am I supposed to know what is the correct action to take in order to return when all I did was follow their instructions! Confusing instructions & statements from the customer service rep. delayed shipment. not helpful services. There are many other better & cheaper products with greater after sales services out there , so THINK TWICE before you click the purchase button.

UPDATES ON 23 JAN : HeySilkySkin got my contacts via TrustPilot and yet nobody has approached me, neither has they replied to my email......
