Rachel has been an absolute star and…

Rachel has been an absolute star and always responds really quickly to any issues. The whole process went really smoothly.

The only minor issue is that I have reported a snagging concern but not received any confirmation it is being dealt with. Over 12 months since moving in and reporting a snag, this has not been resolved. Extremely disappointed.

I recently purchased a shared ownership…

I recently purchased a shared ownership property through Heylo Housing Association. From the initial inquiry to the final stages of the purchase, the delivery of paperwork was remarkably efficient. All necessary documents were provided on time, allowing the purchase to proceed without any delays. This level of organization and reliability was impressive.

Overall, my experience with Heylo Housing Association was very good. Their commitment to prompt responses, excellent communication, and timely delivery of paperwork made the purchase process seamless. I highly recommend Heylo to anyone considering a shared ownership property.

Buying my home

The process of buying the house was made fairly easy by the use of there portal, however when trying to contact them we had some difficulty actually getting an answer, overall tho very positive experience

Don't even bother with them.

Awful company. We submitted via an estate agent our interest in getting a shared ownership house through this company. We heard nothing from them after having chased them directly ourselves until 6 days later they decided to inform us the house had been sold to someone else.

poor service

When you try and sell your house they are not interested at all to help. My solicitor has been trying to get a paper signed off by them and for two months of continuous emails and voice mail messages still nothing has been sorted. Very poor service from this company

Heylo Housing has been a massive help…

Heylo Housing has been a massive help through the process. Rachel was always there with advise and knowledge to help make sure I was comfortable with the details of the sale. Although the process took longer than I had expected, I never felt pressured to exchange until I was satisfied with the agreements. Truly thankful for all of her help.

Heylo Housing, deemed non-compliant with the Regulator of Social Housing’s (RSH) standards has increased rent by 14%

Heylo Housing, deemed non-compliant with the Regulator of Social Housing’s (RSH) standards has increased rent by 14%. After talking to fellow Heylo Housing residents the commonly returned statements from Heylo Housing were "Your rent will increase year on year" & "This is the maximum amount it can be increased by." and here's mine:
Year 1: £350/month
Year 2: £399/month
Year 3: £454.86/month
Year 4: £518.54/month
Year 5: £591.10/month
You will also experience being undercharged "due to a technical error" and be stung mid-month with a minimal warning of £60+.
Any "rebate" you receive will be added to the next price increase.

Outstanding service from Heylo Housing,we believed they went above and beyond of putting us first every decision they make. Especially, Selina was very helpful and ensured that we move into the new house before EID. We are very pleased that they also helped us to make decision which saved us in deposit.
