DO NOT USE THIS SHUTTLE COMPANY - STILL WAITING FOR REFUND

We arrived at Newark on a Sunday and called for the shuttle by using the phone in the airport.
We were told 13 minutes. After 35 minutes we called back. We were told the shuttle was only 5-10 minuttes away - this was going on for the next 1 hour and 10 minutes.
After waiting for this long, we called and cancelled our reservation. I even talked to the same assistant on the phone who I ordered the shuttle from in the very first call.

2 minutes after we have cancelled the driver came and said we should just jump into the car and he would contact GoAirlink.
All the way back from Newark to Manhattan the driver was talking to GoAirLink.

We arrived at the hotel and the driver asked us for a voucher - since we haven’t received any voucher we paid cash.

And now I cannot get my refund back because the company is saying we have been using the service. (However I do have the cancellation notice sent to me via an email)
Yes - but now I have paid in cash AND they have been talking the money out of my bankaccount.
I am now in daily dialog with GoAirLink to get my refund.
This is very much a scam company!!!!! Worst experience ever - GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!

I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS SHUTTLE SERVICE!!!

WORST COMPANY EVER

WORST COMPANY EVER. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Would give zero stars if I could. I cancelled about 4 days prior to my reservation after reading all the terrible reviews online. Refund policy stated full refunds are given for more than four hours notice, processed within ten business days. I've been waiting three weeks and no refund. Have contacted them several times via email and their website form with no response. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. DO NOT BOOK. Get a yellow cab.

GO Airlink no show at JFK airport

I booked a transfer from JFK airport to my hostel on the GO Airlink website two days before my flight, and I informed the Delta flight number to Go Airlink.

I arrived at JFK at 2300 p.m. as expected. The flight was on time. I deplaned and waited for someone from GO Airlink to pick me up. As asked in the booking e-mail, I've talked to a lady from Ground Transportation wearing a red vest. She told me to dial 18. I did, and I waited on the phone for 15 minutes. No one picked up the call or appeared at the airport. Please don't say that I am the NO SHOW.
The lady from Ground Transportation said it was late and that I should catch a cab because no one was there to pick me up.
I filed a complaint in the taxi to the hostel about it. Ticket ID is #GOALCS00473565, you sent me an automatic reply, and now I am the NO SHOW?

Really? I've never experienced such disrespect as a woman with multiple sclerosis who relied on your company to pick me up. I was the one who faced the NO SHOW, and they don't want to give me a refund.

Bad experience

Bad experience! You had to call them, even though they had every information needed, so they knew we were there.
Called them and they would arrive in 15-20 min. After 30 min, no sign of them. Called them again and the driver "would be there in a couple of minutes". After another 20 min, called again and while talking to the company, the driver showed up.
That the ride took more than 90 min, I can't blame them, but it wasn't what we needed.
Two other couples/groups in the car, had waited for 2 hours.
I would never use them again!

Would have given zero stars if possible! Arrived at JFK, pity they didn't! Several phone calls from me and airport staff, still no show. I emailed requesting a refund only to be told that I was a no show! Really....I've flown from UK to USA, JFK....where else am I!? Just waiting for a transfer that never arrived. Requested a refund and they have just robbed me blind, don't answer emails. A truly rip off company so please don't trust them. Getting a yellow cab us easy and cheaper and reliable.
RIP OFF, DO NOT USE

Fuyez !!

NON NON NON !!! Si vous voulez perdre 85$ et 2h de votre temps minimum (attente et trajet) prenez cette navette ! Les vacances sont plus précieuses que ça, New York n’attend pas, les Taxis jaunes mythiques vous attendent juste à l’extérieur de l’aéroport pour 65$ Direction Manhattan !!! Et ils mettent beaucoup moins de temps !! On a payé la navette sur internet mais l’attente trop longue nous sommes partis !! 85$ perdus !! Plus jamais !!!

GoAir Link- a complete joke

Please do not use this company and BA need to stop using them. They turned up 2 hours late after JFK. There is noobe there to help you and even you phone they lie and say they will be 20 mins. The driver, when he did show up coughed all the way to NY without a mask. He got lost and took 2 hours to get to our hotel.
It took ages to organise tge return transfer even though they had all our details from BA. The driver took 3 hours to drive the 19 miles to JFK. He got lost too and we almost missed check in for our flight. I have asjed for a refund but i am not holding my breath. Please organise your own transfer as that will be more efficient and reliable

AVOID this shuttle service! Terrible experience!
Booked the shuttle in advance and waited for 3h - the dispatchers kept telling me the car was coming, until I finally had to take a taxi.

Terrible avoid at all costs!

Arrived at Newark and nobody was there to pick us up. Called the company and was passed around from person to person and put on hold. Also Being told they have no record of our booking. This went on for some time. Then finally a car is on its way. Give it 45 mins. 45mins came and went, no sign of them. Called them again.
2 hours after our flight came in we were picked up. I don’t think they had any intention of picking us up. Another two passengers also in the same situation.
Also picked up with us.
After all this time the driver then has cheek to continually ask me about confirmation number/ booking reference when he arrives.

Journey back was fine. We were actually picked up when they said. But we did question whether to just forget about them as we had no confidence we would be picked up.
But would never use again. Appalling way to treat people.
Sort it out!

I wish I’d seen the reviews before I booked this company. Got to EWR and they ‘had no bus’ so they arranged alternative transport, which was totally fine. However, they never paid the ‘alternative transport’ who are now chasing me for payment although I prepaid Airlink. Not answering emails. Avoid they are not trustworthy!

Left stranded at JFK by Go Airlink NYC

I booked a pickup at the airport on May 23rd and it was great. On my return flight on May 28 I waited from just after 9 pm until after 12am, I'm a female tourist who was left stranded at JFK airport. I felt scared, disappointed and lied to. I requested a refund because I took a taxi to my hotel.

I called from the welcome center phone to Go Airlink NYC and was told by the agent to wait at the welcome center and that the driver will be there. It was a male who answered the phone.
I called again and was told to wait to driver will be there by 10:30. After another call a female agent answered and set she is trying to get hold of the driver and put me on hold and never responded again.
I had someone at the hotel also called and informed them I was still waiting.

It was only after 12:30am when I called Go Airlink NYC again the agent who came just came on duty told me there are no cars. That there were no cars for a while.

I had to get a yellow cab early hours of the morning and arrived at 1:30 at the hotel.

I do not recommend this pickup service because they do not have enough drivers, yet they take the booking. Customer service is not their number 1 priority as well as safety.

I hope to get my money back!

ITS A SCAM. refused to pick up when I'd already paid. Leaving a single mother and daughter abandoned at JFK. Disgusting company. It broke trading standards laws, it should be shut down. DO NOT USE. THIS COMPANY IS NOT SAFE.

Awful they never showed up to collect me from my terminal. Dreading using them to get back to the airport
I have repeatedly emailed them asking to refund my return journey and I have heard nothing back. This is starting to feel like a scam

We booked a luxury pickup on December…

We booked a luxury pickup on December 1st for 4 people. When we arrived at EWR there were nobody ready to pick us up. We waited 1,5 HOURS where we were in contact with you SEVERAL times. We kept being told we would be picked up in terminal C at the passenger pickup number 5. We stood there for an hour waiting for a Honda. We even spoke to you twice in that hour and directly with the driver. You kept saying he was there ready for us but there was no driver!! I then called you for the third time and you now started saying terminal B which is not where we arrived. We then had to take the AirTrain to terminal B but STILL NO DRIVER. I even asked you to cancel my booking because we had been flying for 14 hours and waited 1,5 hour to be picked up and just wanted to get to our hotel. I was then told we had to pay a no-show fee if we cancelled. After waiting for 1,5 hours and after dragging all of our stuff with the train to terminal B we finally got a hold of the driver who was NOT at terminal b. He had been at terminal c but the cops told him to leave so he just left. We had been standing by terminal c waiting for him for an hour and he just left and went to terminal b instead! Not only did we wait way too long but we ordered a LUXURY SUV and got an old Honda which was not luxurious at all. I would like for you to refund my money for this horrible service and experience. It seems completely ridiculous to order an airport pickup and then having to wait for so long for a very old Honda which was not what we paid 200$ for. What a waste of money and time!! A cab would’ve been better and cheaper.

Nasty car

To be honest, the only redeeming thing about this is that it's quite cheap... otherwise, the car is damn nasty and dirty. I would not want to get inside that car again

Cancelled taxis update

Cancelled 2 trips with this company on 8th April due to Covid. Taxis were booked for early June. So plenty of warning. I have e-mailed them and Stephen has responded pretty quickly, in May, indicating several reasons why refund is taking time but assures me I am in the system. However, as it is now the second week of August, I have the feeling I am being fobbed off and lied to and think it will be a miracle if I get my money back which I presume would be theft but no one cares and no one takes responsibility. During this difficult time I have been shocked at how various members of the hospitality trade have treated their customers and made me entirely rethink how I book in the future.
Just to update on this. Got an e-mail from Vera apologizing for delay in repayment. That was several weeks ago. Also had an e-mail from the company telling me they were back in business and operating properly. That is really good to know. You will not be surprised to learn that I have not been repaid the money owing. So much for customer service. The only time they contact me is when I write a review or send me an e-mail extolling the virtues of their company. Personally I would not do business with them ever again. Poor representation of New York!!!

5 months waiting for a refund from this…

5 months waiting for a refund from this dreadful company. I have just been told lie after lie. I waiting about a month initially as I assumed they would have many refunds to process. I am over emailing requesting a refund, resending booking details. I have been told repeated lies about when the refund would be processed or no response to emails. Hopefully this review will make you aware that if you need to cancel, even if you give plenty of notice like I did, almost 3 weeks actually, you will never get a refund. I urge you to read other reviews on TripAdvisor. Just highlight “poor” and “terrible” reviews. I read 2 years worth and there are many horrendous experiences with the same issues on repeat. Zero stars and would never recommend or ever book again.

STILL WAITING FOR REFUND!!!

I suppose i am one of many who hasnt had a refund from this company, and been told different excuses in emails the latest one being that my refund has been esculated and i should receive it soon that was 10 days ago...needless to say i am still waiting and now choosing to vent my frustration on any public review site i can, to make myself heard and for them to take note and action!!
All this company is doing is losing future custom as patience and understanding only lasts for so long and when you constantly getting fobbed off with no real answers you soon become bitter, we the customers need our refunds, as you the company need our business so do the decent thing and start refunding!!
