This is the reason we chose furniture village , in addition staff discussed the family business ethic and stated the ceo visits regular and is part of the family village . Outstanding and rare quality of staff at this store Southampton . From sales lady (was due to leave for maternity leave next day ) to store manager . 10/10 great experience

From the moment we arrived, Gareth, the store manager, made us feel incredibly welcome. He took the time to understand our requirements and was particularly helpful in guiding us through the practical elements of what we needed. His introduction set the tone for a genuinely positive and professional experience.

Victoria then took things to another level. Not only was she attentive, knowledgeable and completely focused on helping us find the right solution, but her background as an interior designer truly elevated the whole experience. She didn’t just help us choose furniture — she helped us visualise how everything would work in our home, considering proportions, flow and overall aesthetic with real expertise.

Greeted nicely by Victoria, shown what we asked for and an alternative, with all benefits explained fully. Not rushed, given time to consider alternative which was more money than original, but decision was easy to make.

Firstly lovely shop floor and good atmosphere , secondly helpful and knowledgable shop assistants. Their to help, to guide to make a right choice.
Knew exactly when to expect the delivery, two items were tailored to one delivery slot, easy to arrange time and the delivery team Rob and Joe were great and very respectful!!!!

The service provided by David was spot on, he gave us time to try out various mattresses and even went and found details of our previous order so he could advise us on which modern Tempur mattress was closest to what we currently have to make a better comparison. He gave us plenty of time but was also available to answer any questions.

Having finally made our selection, David took us efficiently through the order process.

We were well looked after by David, In addition Matt makes a great cup of tea.

The customer service that we received from Matt was 5* - not the typical pushy salesperson at all which is what puts me off large chain furniture stores. He won our daughters over with hot chocolate and cookies and was so knowledgable and attentive - a huge credit to the Southampton team!!

We had the most amazing member of your Southhampton branch, the wonderful ladies name was Victoria Carter-Jones. She was patient attentive, but not pushy. She showed us exactly what we were looking for and more. We have purchased a beautiful sofa and await its delivery. Due to circumstances NOT down to Furniture Village but another big named sofa store, we are without a sofa, Victoria arranged for us to have one on loan until our new one arrives. Service we have never experienced in our 60 year old lives. Thank you Victoria for everything you are amazing

Lovely atmosphere in store and Stuart was marvellous at helping us make decisions and informing us about all the options available for each sofa style - be that colour or sizing choices.
