I've been looking to buy a new watch for myself for a little while now as my old watch had finally seen its day. So, today I popped into the Fleet Branch of Hinds. The shop is very well laid out and with a good display of ladies watches. Having tried on a few watches, I found exactly what I was looking for. The member of staff who served me was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. I came away feeling very happy.

I bought a Limit 5988 watch (Hinds number W7779) in July 2026. After only 2 months the chrome finish on the case has turned to a copper colour suggesting that the chrome plating on base metal was very thin. I took the watch back to the F Hinds store where a bought it, but they refused to replace the watch, saying only the working parts are covered by guarantee. Whilst I realise the watch was a cheap brand at £20 but feel the finish should be more durable. I have had one of these watches before and the finish lasted many years before wearing through the chrome. Very dissapointed with J Hinds and their attitude towards the issue. Needless to say I wont be making any more purchases from this company

I ordered a watch for my wife’s birthday on Monday and selected express delivery. However, the estimated delivery date shown was Tuesday, 1 September 2026 — more than a week later, which is not what I would expect from an express delivery service.

As it was for a special occasion, I called customer service to ask if the delivery could be sped up. Unfortunately, the lady I spoke to was dismissive and unhelpful, simply repeating what was already stated in the email and telling me there was nothing she could do.

The watch eventually arrived after four days, but it was the wrong model. I emailed customer service and received no response, so I called again. Once again, I was simply told to wait for an email reply.

I returned the incorrect watch, and F.Hinds waited until they received it back before sending the correct one, causing another four-day delay.

Poor communication, unhelpful customer service, the wrong item being sent and repeated delays made this a very frustrating experience, especially as it was meant to be a birthday present.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from F.Hinds online.

First time in store .the Assistant got the item my daughter wanted and i had to explain how the metal strap could be tighten as the assistant never spoke.she also never showed us how to set it up as i said she wanted to wear it now.

Ive purchased two seiko carriage clocks over the past two years, the last one was November 2025. On both clocks ,the rotating pendulum stops working. Ive changed the both batteries and still the pendulum will not rotate. The clock part works fine.

I've left both batteries out over night with no luck. And yes,they are new good quality alkaline batteries .

Im not buying another one from this company. Having contacted them last time when the first one stopped working i was given the brush off.

These clocks are not cheap but obviously manufactured using poor quality components.

Staff were very polite and helpful, quick service with additional information about protecting my item.

I always use this company for new batteries in my watches. I couldn't find the lifetime battery paperwork for my rotary watch,but they were so helpful and said they would check it out fir ne and to come vack the next day,which I did. They confirmed it was covered so cost ne nothing extra and they were putting a note for the future that rotary watch is indeed covered. Many thanks

Just a wonderful experience. Ive always wanted a gold cross with a chain to wear around my neck. I had tried 3 jewelers before F Hinds in Telford. I was very nervous, but the experienced staff helped me choose the perfect cross and chain. Excellent friendly and experienced staff. I wouln't hesitate to visit again! Thank you F Hinds!
