I picked my Engagment ring in the store a few years ago and I was treated so well, the ring needed a repair from accidental damage two years after and the girls at the store got it sorted no problem.... Mehr ansehen
The watch arrived as scheduled and was well packaaged. The main gripes I have are A) a 10% voucher was not applied to my order (watch cost over £500) but was already on offer so maybe thats why?... Mehr ansehen

Easy to purchase and collect from your local store
Bought a 9 stone diamond eternity ring from Ernest Jones Brighton 17 months ago. A diamond fell out on its own. It wasn't caught on clothing, knocked, or damaged in any way.
Took it into the store and before they'd even looked at the ring, I was told it was out of warranty so wouldn't be covered. I explained it sounded like a manufacturing fault, given the ring is barely over a year old and a stone has just dropped out under normal wear. The response was that anything after 12 months isn't covered, full stop.
This is misleading. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and durable, and your statutory rights last up to 6 years in England and Wales (5 in Scotland). A 12-month retailer warranty does not override that.
For a ring at this price point, a diamond falling out under normal wear inside 18 months is not what any reasonable person would call durable.
I asked if it was normal for a diamond to fall out of a ring in under 18 months. They said yes, it does happen. That alone tells you everything about the quality being sold here.
They then offered to send it off for repair, but said I'd have to pay. When I asked them to actually assess whether it was a faulty product, they agreed but made it clear they were assuming it was accidental damage.
No inspection, no benefit of the doubt, just a default position that the customer is at fault. Looking at other reviews, this is clearly a pattern.
Shocking build quality and worse customer service.

Im getting married soon and was in once again to choose my wedding band and the treatment I got start to finish was incredible and personal to me and my Fiancé a special thank you to Tina at the Newry Northern Ireland store in the Quays shopping center for going above and beyond and making me feel so special from start to finish. I took it back once again and was invited to choose something else to the same value. The assistant, Lauren, spent a lot of time helping me choose something I really, really liked. She went out of her way to be helpful. I did not feel hurried in the slightest and it made for a really lovely shopping experience. Her knowledge of all the jewellry was brilliant. Would highly recommend this store. Thanks Lauren.
Excellent service and good quality jewellery

B) Communication was poor, kept waiting on delivery and only found out due date by contacting customer services
C) I paid for a personalised message as the watch was to be a memory for my late father and so the personalisation was very musch going to be a sentimental keepsake. When it arrived, it was basically the message I had requested, printed on the invoice and delivery note, on cheap recycled paper and the whole message is so tiny, it is less than 3cm long! I have sent a photo of this to customer services for a response.
Ernest Jones is meant to be a premier retailer and yet I feel totally let down and his put a real dampener on what was supposed to be something that I could always look at and remember my Dad fondly.
Disappointing.

Constant ads on website for 10% or 20% off. But the codes don't work for anything that has a discount or sale on it which is everything. It's a crafty way to capture people's data then give no money off. Code did not work on the watch I wanted to buy. Wouldn't not mind if it was one page, but this was on every page you try and load.

Very easy to buy this watch and at a great price. Only slight disappointment was not being able to use the new customer 10% discount code.

Very frustrating checkout experience: specifically, paying for the order. Multiple attempts using a credit card failed for no apparent reason, and payment via debit card was very slow and clunky.

Please don’t believe the “next day delivery” promise — in my experience, it’s simply not reliable. I would strongly suggest that Ernest Jones considers changing their delivery provider from DX to something more dependable.
Unfortunately, I won’t be giving them a third chance.

Worst company ever.
I placed an order for a Tissot watch. Firstly they got my address wrong, then when it was due to be delivered by DX, they said I was not in. My wife and I were in, the driver did not ring the doorbell. I asked for a refund and was told it will take 14 days to issue a refund, outrageous. Then on the phone you take a survey, when you reply the automated voice says your reply is not recognised.

I took my watch in for a service and replacement of the crown. I was told the cost would be £200. For this i received a receipt and told it would take 2 months. Additionally, they said as Westfield was not my local store, it would be delivered to my local Ernest jones. Having waited not over 4 months, the total cost id £410 and to top it all off, I was told i needed to pay prior to the watch being sent to my local store. I other words, it took twice as long, cost twice as much and they hold you to ransom to pay prior to pick up. NEVER GIVE YOUR WATCH TO THIS STORE...EVER

We popped in to the store to look at jewellery, Heather greeted us and lovely and chatty from the get go! I purchased a ring and had to get it delivered as we live far away, the process was easy and she even called to say it had been posted, she enclosed a lovely note too . 10/10 for customer service. She really is a great asset to your company . We will be back again to purchase other items soon. Thank you again Heather.
When I tried to add the promo code it said it was invalid.
I tried multiple times but didn't work, I see this as false advertising and misguiding.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Ernest Jones.
I received a necklace as a gift which developed a fault within just a few months of normal wear. One of the links broke, and I only became aware of the issue as it started catching on my clothing. There was no incident where it was pulled or damaged, this happened during everyday use, which I would not expect from a product of this type or price.
When I returned the item to the Ernest Jones Buchanan Galleries store, the experience was very poor. Staff were rude and immediately implied that I had caused the damage, with no apology or willingness to properly consider my explanation.
After inspection, I was told the chain “appears to have been caught and pulled” due to hair or fibres found in the link, and was asked to pay for a repair. I do not accept this, as hair or clothing catching is entirely normal for a necklace, especially if a link has already weakened or failed.
Instead of taking responsibility, I was offered only a partial refund, which does not reflect the situation or the quality expected from their products.
Overall, I feel let down both by the quality of the item and the way this issue has been handled. I would not recommend based on this experience.
Update: Following escalation, Ernest Jones has now agreed to issue a full refund. While I appreciate the resolution, the process to reach this outcome was frustrating.
