Farrell Heyworth were fantastic during our house hunt and once we had the found the property we wanted to buy. Their communication was excellent, clear and concise, and they returned calls and helped in any way they could. Our Sales Progressor was Alison Whiteside who was outstanding in her work and help. I rented with Farrell Heyworth for…
I rented with Farrell Heyworth for about 18 months ending last year. They are without doubt one of the worst agencies I have ever dealt with across the UK. Unfortunately for us the house we were renting was also for sale, which resulted in us having to accomodate various visits from prospective buyers over the term of our rental. Whilst this wouldn't normally be an issue for a competent company we had multiple short notice viewings (that would often never materialise), being asked to accommodate viewings and given incorrect times/dates and on one occasion an employee just let themselves into our house whilst we were out to show someone around!
I have refrained from posting this since we left the property in an effort to put the whole experience behind me, but with the sudden uptick in positive reviews I felt it would be good for people to understand what kind of a company then really are.
Also, when using Microsoft Copilt to generate responses to your reviews, it's probably in your best interests to remove the text that says "Here is a revised version that makes that point clearer, while staying within your risk and time guidelines"
I would expect Trustpilot would frown on companies using AI to craft responses to negative reviews no?

We’ve been fully supported throughout the process of selling our apartment, both from the sales team in the Lancaster office (latterly Nicole L. and earlier on, Angel) and then by Alison W. without whom sales progression would have been frustrating. They do what it says on the tin, but they do it with such lovely customer care. Cannot fault and happy to recommend. Given our distance from Lancaster during the sales process, it was nice to know that they ‘had our backs’ and that we could leave things in their capable hands. Shocking sales tactics
Told by Farrell Heyworth that the couple who had put in an offer to buy our daughters’ house had sold theirs, and had nothing to sell. This was confirmed in the memorandum of sale.
However we found out some 6 weeks later purely by accident that the prospective purchasers were themselves in a chain awaiting their own buyer to proceed. This was a deliberate misrepresentation of the facts.
Subsequent communication with Farrell Heyworth demonstrated clearly that the staff employed by Farrell Heyworth are clearly confused as to the difference in status between “sold subject to contract” and sold!
Here we are still awaiting completion 4 months later ! Shocking
