Amazing service, Adam is a credit to the centre, it’s clearly better since he’s been manager. Nothing was too much trouble, trusted them completely with the repairs and Mike was also helpful with his advice. It was for my young daughters car and I’d have no hesitation in her going back by herself, knowing she wouldn’t get ripped off. Won’t go anywhere else now!

Very happy with the customer service. Parts ordered quickly and new brakes discs and pads done the next day. Kept up to date all the way through.

They were very thorough with service and MOT. I was given full information on repairs needed with no pressure and all the work was completed to my satisfaction. They were also very polite friendly.

Took our bmw car into tunbridge wells 12th August to have filter and oil change while driving the the car was acting funny on checking the bmw engine cover is missing oil cap was not on we have photo to prove this going back tomorrow to hopefully they will be able to sort this

Super helpful and quick. Had my car for MOT somewhere else and it failed. The other garage had no time to fix it. Formula 1 helped immediately. Will definitely go back there, customer service on high level.

Had a mot done with F1 autocenter in Tunbridge Wells. Failed on 2 tyres fair enough, they then quoted 500 for 2 tyres plus fitting. We arranged a more appropriately priced pair of tyres to be dropped to them. They have fitted both tyres on the same side of car IE left passenger side not front or rear matched. They are left and right matched I spoke to a very lairy chap called Craig who tried to tell me it's because of the sensors which is why they did that. (Sensors can be changed from steering wheel) He then tried to tell me it's impossible to change the settings as you will need 4 tyres to be matching to keep sensors happy! I have owned lots of ford cars over the years and have never heard anything so silly, so to keep all sensors happy they need to then change all 4! No wonder they have such poor reviews... I have since spoken with Craig who kept putting the phone down as he is clearly so knowledgeable that all he wants to do is charge extra again for not doing the job properly in the first place! This company is allowing this preying on customers need for an MOT. I will not use them again!!! I spoke to ford and they will finish the job, F1 should have done in the first place. Advice to Craig at F1 how do you know what mechanical knowledge others may have? Getting lairy on phone to the point you were ready to have me come over there so you could prove it lol very funny. Like I said i can show you how to reset the sensors. It's just like the service switch😂. But ford are now picking up your slack. Also to be honest after this experience, I would not trust you with a little tykes car!

I gave this new repair and MOT place several chances and they are not worthy of your trust. Faults still present after expensive repairs requiring 'even more' repairs. MOT cancelled when I got there and technician said he called but no one had got back to him - completely untrue. No missed calls on our company phone log on IPECS cloud and no diverted call on my mobile. Con men. Just book with the long established repair places like SE Tyres, Tunbridge Wells MOT, Kwik Fit or Halfords. They have been there years, for a reason. On your own head be it..

Booked my Short wheelbase, low roof Ford Transit Custom in for an MOT using online booking form at 8.30am this morning. So far, so good.
After battling through over an hours worth of rush hour traffic, I got to the F1Autocentre in Tunbridge Wells with time to spare. On walking through the door the technician looked out of the window and said and I quote "Nah mate, cant do that, dont fit on the ramp. Best take it to another garage!"
After explaining to him that I had taken the morning off of work, it had taken over an hour to get to the centre and that my MOT on my vehicle had expired, it didn't bother him in the slightest!
He even tried to tell me that the vehicle was a Class 2 or Class 4 and that they dont MOT these vehicles. After googling Class 2 (turns out this is for motorcycles) and Class 4 (most cars and smaller commercial vehicles Upto 3000kg, i.e. my Transit Custom)! What do they MOT at F1 Autocentres, push bikes.
I do honestly believe my vehicle would quite easily fit on the ramp but he just could not be bothered to do the MOT. No manager in store and now I have got to wait for a refund!
Needless to say, I would never visit again and in my honest opinion, I believe that the staff need lots more training especially in customer service!
I am a person who rarely writes reviews but I was shocked by the service I received. If I could have left 0, then I would have!

Very unprofessional "manager" at the Tunbridge Wells branch. MOT and service cancelled on the day (after already being moved). The manager was not apologetic but instead was rude and aggressive. The fact the garage was late opening, I had to go out of my way to get there, the kids were then late for school etc etc doesn't help!!! Head office on the other hand were professional, listened to my complaint and made a refund straight away. Shame as F1 have always been good, first time at the T Wells branch though - I shall not be going back as plenty of local alternatives.

Got MOT done here, told me that it failed on brakes, I had a mechanic friend look at it and said that they’re fine and don’t need to be changed. They are con artists and generate work though failing MOT while over charging the work. They also called me up saying that all 4 brakes (pads and discs) need changing but they only failed it on the rear. Absolute con.

Just had another MOT at the Tunbridge Wells branch and the service was impeccable as always, been using this branch since it opened and would recommend to anyone. Thank you

Appalling service! Air con re gas got booked in twice every time I arrived engineer not there. Was booked in both times! Honestly waste of time let me know if you cannot fulfil the booking. The reaction at site was could not care less! Avoid this garage unless you want to be disappointed!

Put under pressure to agree charges of £650 with no breakdown. Asked for it three times said it was being prepared....obviously untrue as how would you get to the price in the first place? Finished the work and presented an invoice. When compared to other garages of the same size these guys were 100% more expensive on parts. I was ripped off....strange how there is no MOT undertaken on site, car was taken around the corner to another garage???? bumper left with oil hand prints and misaligned and had to be re-fitted. Also strange in the 4 hours I was on site three cars on the ramp all day? all being worked on all day? very strange....I wonder how many cars have to have half a days work on them...and hey presto it can be done the same day!!!!!

The staff at Tunbridge Wells branch were very helpful and informative. Professional in their work ethic and communication. I've been going here for a few years now and would thoroughly recommend them.
