Extremely poor customer service

Firstly, I would like to say that Gemma, who I dealt with initially was helpful and polite. It is Andrew, who I found to be unhelpful, rude, difficult and arrogant. I bought a Range Rover Sport from them, which I have had nothing but trouble with since I bought it 2 weeks ago. Firstly, I noticed the auto stop/start wasn’t working and was not covered by the warranty - I called and spoke to Andrew, who said it was just the battery that was at fault and buy a new one! When I said, I felt it was poor customer service, considering I had done less than 100 miles in the car and complaining, he eventually said he might contribute half to a cheap battery. Secondly and more importantly, after 200 miles the car went into limp mode because the exhaust filter was full. Again, when highlighting it, he couldn’t care less and just said book it into a garage that he knew. I tried booking it into his preferred garage, who wanted to keep the car for 3 days! When I said to Andrew, I couldn’t get the car to his preferred garage in Newport while the car was in limp mode, he said it wasn’t his problem!
I am now having to pay £500 to have this problem rectified as it is not covered on the warranty!
On top of this, the car was dirty and grubby when I picked it up. He didn’t mention anything about the fact it only had 1 key and a rip in the drivers seat, before I traveled 2 hours to see it. I negotiated a little with Gemma and she was extremely helpful.
All in all, I would say avoid this dealer at all costs. Poor car and even worse customer service from Andrew.

Fraud! Do not waste your time with this…

Do not waste your time with this company — it's a complete scam. They try to pressure customers into paying a £500 deposit. The man who appears to be the owner behaves like a typical fraudster.

I called to ask a few questions about a black Range Rover Velar. The seller kept praising the car, claiming it was “perfect, like a two-year-old vehicle,” and barely let me speak. When I finally managed to ask what I needed, he became offended that I was asking anything at all. I explained that I had over 250 miles to drive and didn’t want to waste my time and money if the car wasn’t worth it. He demanded that I pay a £500 deposit within 5 minutes before I could even come to see the car — which is ridiculous, especially considering that Autotrader allows reservations for £99.

When I called back shortly after (around 6 p.m.), he told me I was too late and that someone else had already reserved the car. Yet about 10 minutes later he sent me a private message saying that the “other customer cancelled” and that I could still come to view and buy this “beautiful car.” (it was simply a lie from a person who cannot control their emotions).

I agreed and drove with my friend 5 hours one way the next morning to see it. Unfortunately, the condition of the car was terrible. The paint was scratched on nearly every panel, the exterior plastics were damaged and broken, and the bonnet had clearly been repainted — something I noticed immediately despite having no experience in the automotive industry.

When we pointed out that the car was nothing like what he had assured me and that he misled me knowing how far I had to travel, he became extremely angry and told me to leave his garage immediately, almost pushing me out.

I regret not walking away after our first, very suspicious phone call.
Never again!

Ford Ranger 3.2 Wildtrack Private Plate Advertised

Husband went to view a truck today, booked with garage to turn up and find said truck at the back of the warehouse behind a lot of other vehicles. Then he was told truck has had a complete engine replacement and other than the invoice for the work they had no information to back up what they told him about the engine itself. This coupled with the fact he was told he couldn’t test drive unless he bought it as well as the general poor attitude of the chap meant thankfully he walked away.

Chap then had the gaul to say husband was clearly wasting time and he didn’t want to sell to him anyway - moot point as husband had already said there were too many red flags and he wasn’t going to buy and in fact he was going to put a fresh MOT on it and increase the price by £1k. Current MOT was Sept 2025 so this doesn’t make any sense..

Avoid like the plague - clearly still some problems with this garage..

Brilliant

My car was exactly as described
Brand new mot and service done as promised
I was kept informed about progress of my car being ready and they could not do enough to help me get on the road
I did have a little issue with my tyres which they weren’t to know about
But I had them fixed and they paid the bill instantly
I have nothing but praise for this company
Jemma in particular who I dealt with and she even stayed on after her shift ended for me to collect vehicle 🚗

Avoid

Avoid. I bought a car from dream spec in May 2025, car itself was perfect and I was advised all the past advisories had been fixed, and a new wet belt was installed. The car was dirty when it was sold to me and smelt of cigarette smoke. And broke down due to a dangerous fault with the cat they would have been picked up on the mot… complete con artists.

Brought a great car prep could be better but car is perfect

Brought a great car from Andrew the only criticism would be the prep but the car a super car is exactly as stated and mechanically and condition wise spot on, was extremely dirty and needed a good detail but once this was done looks amazing, as always do your checks use the website available to check the car, and then run a diagnostic program as soon as you purchase that way you can address issue if there are any, I would say with all car dealers they can be problems just go in with eyes open and use your common sense

Avoid at all costs.

I'd suggest avoiding this seller at all costs! Dodgy cars despite the types of vehicles that are listed.
I purchased a BMW 320 GT from Dreamspec in August of 2024 and paid in full by card. Shortly after getting the vehicle back home, I noticed that at a specific speed when driving the vehicle, a noise could be heard.
I contacted Dreamspec out of courtesy, advising that there was a noise and that I had booked it with the warranty provider. Andrew at Dreamspec immediately said that the warranty does not cover wear and tear.
The vehicle went into a garage on 27th September, who said they couldn't diagnose the issue but there was other suspension components that were of concern, however these were rejected by the warranty provider due to wear and tear.
I contacted Dreamspec about the issue, asking them to fix the issue with the vehicle. After many chases (email and call, given many excuses from being off and that they were waiting for the garage to have space etc.) Andrew finally gave me a number for a garage local to him, so I had to make my own booking, which I did for 6th November 2024.
From 6th November until Mid December I received no calls about my car from Dreamspec or the repairing garage, I had to chase the updates. A letter was issued to Dreamspec by me, asking for a refund on my vehicle because of the time taken.
Dreamspec failed to respond, I called and spoke with Andrew around 6th January. Andrew advised me the following:
1. I would not be receiving a refund for the car.
2. He said he'd fix the car and it didn't matter whether that took 1,2,3 or 6 months.
3. I was using him and the garage against one another - the garage (A1 diagnostic Cardiff) told me to speak with Andrew.
4. Andrew would not call me with an update later that week, he would call when the car was done
5. I was causing Andrew stress, when it was MY car that was off the road.
6. Andrew said he had proof the vehicle didn't have the fault when I purchased it.
7. Andrew had spoken with legal his side and was sending me an email.

I never received and email, I never received a call back from Andrew.

After A1 diagnostic Cardiff had the vehicle from 6th November until 29th or 30th January, I was informed the vehicle was complete. A turbocharger, exhaust manifold, cam cover, NSF shock absorber and mate even more had been replaced. I went to collect the vehicle for there to be more noise from the engine and most importantly the noise that was originally there NOT FIXED! Andrew informed A1 Diagnostic Cardiff that he wasn't spending anymore money on the vehicle.

The vehicle remained at the garage for another week, I was informed the vehicle was done.

I collected it 8th February 2025 and still, there is an engine noise that was not there when it went in originally and the noise that I reported in September is still there.

I'd suggest avoiding this company at all costs, spend your money with an honest car salesman, as Dreamspec (Andrew) is definitely not one!

ROUGE TRADER

ROUGE TRADER
***WARNING!***
Just a warning to all those wanting and looking to buy from this dodgy dealer Andrew Jonathan Williams, First of all he was featured on watchdog and rogue traders back in 2015, He used to go by the name Williams Motor Company in the show room down the road which has over the years either been sold or let to other company's (showroom divided into two units!) This guy and his company(s) are scammers they used to take your car to sell for you and scam you out of a lot of money and so was featured on national TV which you can google this man and his previous company name. Now after a lot of research it seems nothing much has changed and is still doing dodgy dealing with cars and the general public, I will include photo of his previous show room a picture of the company director and more. I also see people who have actually purchased cars from dreamspec (William M C) buying cars doctored up and being sold on with many hidden problems, false service history (fraudulent) probably has even clocked cars (my opinion) but clearly a Rogue Trader and a dealership to avoid at all cost (before it costs you A LOT) oh and watch out Dreamspec (Williams M C) has a autotrader page where he takes the cars to his old past showroom and takes pictures of the cars down the middle driveway which you will clearly see once doing your research.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We previously bought a vehicle off Andrew Williams in July 2022, BMW M4 convertible we bought the gold warranty (worth nothing) the car was apparently serviced the day before pick up. On the way home there was a lot of white smoke behind us coming from the exhaust, after getting home a friend who is in the car trade told us Andrew Williams is on rogue traders. We contacted him and said we would want a refund and went down the next morning. On the way down no oil light come on and service required( this was the cherry on the cake)
When we arrived at the garage Andrew got in the vehicle and whil asking us what was wrong he would rev the car Everytime we tried to talk. After a kick off He tried telling us that we could only have a refund once the log book was back even though upon pick up he pointed out log books are not proof of ownership there was a lot of shouting and he did finally agree to refund us that day after a lot of legal information we had collected was thrown at him.
He is a vile man who should never Be allowed to be trading there is a massive red flag when he is trading from a hidden garage (he claims this is because the cars are of high value he needs to keep it hidden) he even hides his face with a hat whenever he goes outside I’m surprised he’s still walking around he should be ashamed and in hiding after the amount of people he has conned

His company is valued at zero and is waiting to enter into administration as it’s a ltd company. Despite having an 800,000 house
Andrew will lie and con you out of your money.
PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS AND CONTACT ME FOR PROOF IF TOU FEEL YOU HAVE TOO

DreamSpec

DreamSpec, a company based in Cardiff, Wales, led by Andrew Williams, is a cautionary tale for anyone dreaming of owning a high-performance vehicle. My harrowing experience with them involved a £40,000 Nissan Skyline GTR that turned out to be an undrivable, expensive disaster due to a severe transmission fault.

Initially, DreamSpec dazzled me with their slick sales tactics, promising a meticulously maintained Nissan Skyline GTR. However, reality struck when the car was never released to me due to a crippling transmission fault. This fault made the car completely undrivable, turning my dream purchase into a nightmare.

Upon discovering the issue, DreamSpec, with Andrew Williams at the helm, assured me of a full refund. Trusting their word, I opted for the refund, expecting a swift resolution. Three weeks have now passed, and the promised refund remains as elusive as ever. DreamSpec has constantly promised the refund, yet fails to provide any proof or concrete timelines. Each interaction is filled with excuses, often blaming their accounting department for the delays.

Despite my numerous attempts to resolve the issue, DreamSpec’s responses have been nothing but a series of unfulfilled promises. Their customer service, initially responsive, has become uncontactable, leaving me in financial limbo and without the car I paid for.

This ordeal has cost me not only £40,000 but also countless hours of stress and frustration. DreamSpec, under Andrew Williams, has proven to be a company that thrives on deceit, leaving customers stranded with broken promises and financial losses.

For anyone considering purchasing from DreamSpec, I urge you to reconsider. Their name suggests dreams, but my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. They lure you in with grand promises and then disappear when it's time to deliver or refund. Save yourself the heartache and avoid DreamSpec at all costs. They are not a trustworthy company, and dealing with them could leave you significantly out of pocket and deeply disappointed.

If anyone wants any more information feel free to drop me an email and ill get back to you as soon as possible

Falsely giving a false wrong MOT

Falsely giving a false wrong MOT, sold a unsafe car that's not allowed to be driven, despite having a so called good MOT. Mercedes and another independent garage reported the car so dangerous that it can collapse at any time and clearly was falsified at the MOT centre, all of which are under major investigation.
