I ordered a pole which I decided I didn’t need after all. I phoned the company and he said he would arrange a pick up. On his terms and condition she states a pick up will be £16.50 plus vat. I had to call twice to ask for my refund eventually I got one but he had deducted over £27.00. I have emailed him and as expected no reply. He knows there is nothing you can do, the man is a thief. I get the expression it’s just him in a garage or lockup as he just answers the phone hello. Avoid if I were you because if you have to return then you will have to fight to get your money back.

I ordered two 180cm curtain poles with finials in the colour putty (brand Jones) and they’re beautiful! So happy. Called after ordering and got through to someone called Ian, really helpful and items arrived 4 days later (to Northern Ireland). Free delivery and much better pricing compared to ploesdirect for the the exact same items (£50 less in fact).

I emailed company on Sunday enquiry about how long delivery would be. Needed it fairly quickly. Not really expecting a email back on a Sunday but they told me how many were in stock and if I placed the order they would get the order ready to be shipped. I received it 2 dats later.
Packed very well. The pole etc was absolutely perfect, looks lovely, fixed easily, so pleased with it.
I’m giving 5 stars because I couldn’t fault the service I had and so pleased with the product.

Competitive prices and really good customer service. In my case I had ordered curtain pole which unfortunately arrived damaged in transit. I have been able to return it directly to the shop. The owner been very helpful and offered to stay after opening hours to allow me drop off package after my work. Really good shop which proving to care about customers.

I have recently purchased poles from this company poles were lovely quality but after purchasing nearly £400 worth of poles in two separate orders I realised I needed another two 4 packs of rings , that was no problem I ordered and paid as I had no choice for them to match the poles but it was £8 postage !
I emailed and said it was a rip off which it certainly was and after all the money iv spent I was disgusted!
I then had an irrate phonecall off the owner who said he was cancelling my order ! The customer service is absolutely disgusting avoid avoid avoid !!

I ordered a 50mm Inegra pewter curtain pole which has just arrived and it is absolutely stunning. So chunky and great quality. I have now ordered another 6 x curtain poles from this company. Their prices are very competitive and I highly recommend.

I was worried about using this site because of negative reviews but like another posted said speak as you find. We did have to wait a little while for our poles as there were problems with the suppliers, I spoke to Ian I think it was and he reassured me everything was fine and that our order was safe it was just a problem with the suppliers. Anyhow after waiting a little while longer the poles were delivered. They were well packaged beautiful poles and very good quality, ours were from the Integra range. It was actually nice to put them up as sometimes those fittings can be pretty useless but these were great quality. I will be using Curtain Poles Emporium again when we need to do our other rooms. Thanks.

.... because of the poor reviews but I could not be happier. I ordered on Friday and the poles arrived today. All fine, some of the most beautiful poles/finials I have ordered - in pristine condition. The order included all fixtures/finials and rings unlike some other sites and the price was virtually half of the competition. Thank you Curtain Poles Emporium.

I ordered a curtain track on Monday of this week and it turned up on the Wednesday.It came packed in a robust tube.
Before I opened it I checked on the companies reviews and after reading some of the negative comments I thought oh dear. I usually check companies feedback before I jump in, this time I forgot as I was in a hurry. Opened the package and all was well.The price was very keen and no rip off on postage.

While the poles themselves are beautiful and up to spec, I am very, very disappointed with the customer service of Curtain Poles Emporium. I got 4 poles and one of them is missing the round metal caps at the end. They accidentally gave me an extra box of hooks instead of the box with the caps and it has been impossible to get them to correct that - I called and emailed 6-7 times, each time someone tells me on a very cold, impolite tone that they'll send me new ones, but I never received them. It's now been 4 months. I offered to pay for them as well and was happy to go collect them - still nothing.

Ordered a curtain pole online. On arrival it was a different shade than the one on their web page.
Emailed to ask how and where to return, no reply, and three phone calls later, they confirmed they would arrange return. Eventually it was collected, then I had to ring twice to find out when my refund was. Finally, it was refunded today. Customer skills are important, but I'm afraid this company is lacking in that department. Definitely don't recommend this company.

There seems to be a theme of unacceptable customer service with this company. Ordered £175 worth of curtain poles, and online claimed they would arrive within the week and took 7 weeks. They arrived and were of a poor quality I emailed the company to obtain a returns address 4 times with no reply over 10 days. Phoned and spoke to a Northern sounding male on 5 occasions. He admitted he had read my emails. Fobbed off with excuses such as..... that I had to return directly to the manufacturer and he needed a code that I required to be place inside the box. I wasn’t permitted to call the manufacturers... he had to finish work early hasn’t managed to call them. After 3 weeks and admitting he still hadn’t contacted the company, I’ve emailed a complaint which was send 2 days ago with no reply. Matter to be passed to ombudsman if he fails to rectify the issue in 2 weeks. In my opinion this company either has the worst online customer service I’ve ever experienced or they deliberately fail to assist customers in the hope you’ll just give up and go away. Buyer beware, do not use.

Update almost 4 weeks after my request for a returns address, I phoned the company spoke to same male again who passed me the address and code to place with the order. I will update the review with the progression (hopefully) of the refund.
I’ve received the refund 2 weeks after posting the item back.

Customer service doesn't exist!! You can write, ring and you are ignored.
Ordered a curtain pole which was fine but not the right colour. Delivery in 2 days, perfect. The problem starts when you want to return the item. Arranged with the guy on the phone a collection, knew before hand I have to pay for it, fine. 2.5 weeks later, still no courier.
Guy on the phone can't give you a time when and by who the curtain pole will be collected! I probably lost my money choosing this company. Avoid at all cost. Company should not exist online with customer service like this!
A bit of update: curtain pole has been collected 10th of March, original request for collection 2nd of Feb..say it all really.
Let see how long I am going to wait for a refund now...week gone and counting....
Finally received my refund on 1st of April.
Honestly don't bother with this company..not worth your time. 2 months for collection and refund process!

I ordered two indentical poles from the curtain pole emporium for my lounge. One was snapped in two when I opened the box. I emailed the company to inform them to which I got no reply , I resent the email ...again no reply. On phoning them the man who I spoke to sounded mistrustful of my claim that I had received a faulty pole and was quite offstandish. He finally said he would get one sent straight from the supplier but would not be able to tell me when I would get it. 3 months later and still no curtains up in my lounge.....no reply to any of my emails, me calling at least twice a week...I asked if I could have a refund and was told I would have to send the faulty one back...at my cost!!!!
I have finally received my pole but literally this was the worst customer service I have ever had. No replies to emails, no response to my questions of when I would receive it..no apologies . Disgusting
