They're a predatory group trying to get you to sign up for the worst credit cards on earth.

they recommend cards for you to apply for and say you have excellent odds and then your refused and hit with hard inquiries. i tried to file a compalaint with them and filled out form and it would not let me file complaint . i videoed it and showed it . these hard inquiries lowered my score significantly . they are supposed to be helpling me. stay away scam company

I bought Plane tickets from Spirit Airline and never received my tickets nor confirmation of my purchase. I immediately tried contacting both companies and had difficulty contacting anyone and was forced to purchase another set of airline tickets. I immediately filed a dispute once I had to purchase the other tickets because Credit Karma processed the purchase though I informed them I never received the goods. It has now nearly been a month and they have yet to even begin reviewing the case(s) and they are indicating I might not even get my money back because I was "given credit" Though I clearly stated I wanted a refund because I was never going to be utilizing their services nor the third party (Dohop) ever again- which can all be confirmed via recorded line and email. Upon further research it appears that companies are legally obligated to begin to review/investigate/acknowledge a case within 30 days (which are are approaching). I asked for this to be expedited and they told me I did not qualify and when I asked why they provided no reason/follow-up/ nor explanation though they can clearly see in my account that I did have to purchase tickets from another airline company days after. I have subsequently called them numerous times getting different answers/explanations from their staff which raises questions to me, personally, about the honesty and integrity in which this company operates. All of this can be confirmed with their own recorded line as well. They told me there is absolutely no way to file a dispute and have it closed faster than those 90 days. However, I filed a different dispute and the investigated and closed it in less than 8 hours and when I asked why they broke their own quoted policy of closing that one particular dispute in less than 90 days, but my other 2 disputes that were pressing had not been looked at yet- they hung up on me. Which also make me feel as though there is some dishonesty occuring in the actions of this company. I also asked for all communication to be via email as I distrust them and their integrity and I have since gotten no email/follow-up from them. Upon getting my bank statements for July I also saw some usual activity regarding a constant withdrawal/deposit that was taken in and out of my account numerous times- again they did not have adequate answers and again I never had any follow-up. This is going on about to be a month now and the company has made every interaction increasingly difficult. I made it expressly clear I wanted my funds expedited back to my account so I can close my accounts with them. I am Looking into filing a complaint with the FDCI /tomorrow (07/14/2025) regarding their lack of answers regarding my money while banking with them. Still, I have had no follow through/up from them since I last requested all contact be moved to email so I may be able to track our conversations. This lack of willingness to put their words in writing ALSO HIGHLY INDICATES DISHONESTY. In my objective, personal opinion, as I have no problem doing it because I have no trouble clearing up any miscommunications on my end.-I would attach pictures but I don't see an option for that.

I've been trying to gain access to my Credit Score on the Credit Karma Mobile App and I can't. After Credit Karma cancelled my account 3 times and each time they assured me that once I create a new account I'll be able to see my Credit Scores I re signed up 3 times and I still can't see my Credit Score they sent me to the Experian website white after providing my name address date of birth and social security number and answering all the verification questions they said I'll have it send a copy of my ID and copy of a utility bill which I have a ID Card but no utility bill because this is a Care Home I don't pay utilities, and they said I'll also have to send them money to get my Credit Scores!!!! Credit Karma and Experian are both scammers trying to get money and personal information from people probably for Identity Theft please don't use Credit Karma or Experian!!!!

Marketing control is when you get a card and have had a card than when you go to review that card on the actual website it directs you to the app where it doesn't allow you to review it! This is not a small deal that people should let go it's unethical and controlling the narrative. Clearly a paid company in capital one's, Citi's, and Visas back pocket!

I applied for a loan via SoFi from CK website and was declined. They asked for a review on the call tag and I gavef them a 1 there as well and told them to keep their money. I will no longer used this service.

I liked Credit Karma. It was an easy way to review my open credit items and my credit score. But then when I actually tried to follow their advice when they suggested a loan to me with the “karma guarantee” things backfired. I was not approved for the loan which meant they would give me $50, right? Nope. They did not honor their guarantee. I am very disappointed in the company and no longer trust them.

I applied for First Latitude after Credit Karma recommended it. Worst decision ever. Even after getting “approved,” they’ve dragged out the process for over 40 days — asking for repeated identity verifications and no clear updates. Their support is useless, and I had to file a CFPB complaint to get my money back.

Yes, Credit Karma says the offers are “advertisements,” but that doesn’t make it okay to promote predatory or incompetent financial products that put users at risk. If you’re going to push these cards, you have some responsibility to vet who you’re endorsing.

Credit Karma has its uses in keeping track of spending, assets, income and credit as well as helping to determine not only your credit worthiness but your net worth as well, however they do miss the mark far to often when it comes to updating overall credit limits and backing their guarantee to award $50 if they guarantee a credit approval and you’re declined. You must also be on the side of caution if you use their banking as a hub for all of your finances because they have very poor customer support skills! I had used their bank MVB to receive all of my income sources via direct deposit and then from there I would transfer funds to various other institutions for banking, checking and investment accounts but when I got very sick and was in the hospital for almost 3 weeks and upon discharge I went to open up the CK app to dispense payments they somehow failed to recognize my log in information and for the next 2 weeks I went through hell to restore everything because it was as though my accounts never existed! Their support is outsourced to foreign countries and between the language barriers and all the tech involved it made for an absolute nightmare. I even had to contact the VA & Social Security to verify my deposits all the way back to my initial accounts opening and they gave me social workers to assist with this mess. So beware and be very careful to maintain daily or weekly vigilance of all of your assets so as not to have my experiences.

I submitted a support ticket and promptly got a response from the UK support team, telling me I needed to contact the US team. Submitted a new support ticket and 4 days later, it's crickets. You have a bogus entry on my CK report, indicating Experian reported a large balance on a retail card, which is not showing on my Experian report in order to dispute it, so the mistake is on your end. I need this fixed immediately.

I received a pre-approval for an auto refinance with Tresl via Credit Karma, applied for the Refinance and received an approval.

They said all they needed to do was contact my lienholder to get a payoff amount then sent me an email the following day saying they are sorry but they can not approve. This is after they sent me an "Approval and Congratulations" email.

Stay away from these people! They are obviously not honest. I logged onto Credit Karma today and the pre-appproval is no longer there and they have somehow blocked me from leaving a review and feedback about my experience.

Credit Karma discriminates against people who do not need so don't own a cell phone. I have an account but cannot log in because the only way they verify is via a text message and they refuse to verify via email. I chatted with an agent and the agent said if you don't own a cell phone you will never be able to log into Credit Karma. What a horrible way to run a business. DO NOT USE CREDIT KARMA FOR ANYTHING, THEY ARE PATHETIC.

Credit Karma performance has diminished significantly over the years. And Intuit needs to dump it as it reflects on them. Algorithms incorrectly affect scoring. Information is incorrect in account. Customer Service is non-existent or incompetent on the chat and the effort to attempt contact is disgusting. I deactivated my account and sent a reply to the email requesting confirmation that I want ALL my information deleted along with a confirmation. There has been no response to my request. Consumers should deactivate their accounts as the credit cards we have typically offer free scoring and they do not harvest your information for profit. Those who use Intuit should evaluate safer options.

I had been working hard to get my credit score where it was. Credit Karma suggested a credit card. I applied and instantly received a hard inquiry, instantly lowering my score 60 points. They sell your info off without a care what actually happens to your score. I'd recommend using anybody but credit karma.

Classic bate and switch, show me a 5.04% rate on an auto loan refinance. I fill out all the information, get a sales rep to call me to find out it's actually a 5.9% rate...

They are supposed to be well equipped given all they know about you so you don't need to deal with that non-sense.

The screw they give you, isn't your real score. They get your hopes up and pushes you to apply for things though them. It's all a lie. They get paid and you hurt your credit from the hard inquires.

I am so disappointed in myself for applying for one of their consistent offers for Capital One, saying my chances were good. The advertisements come daily. I do not use credit often, so I don't worry about a high score. I had a 655, which is fair. I have been using Affirm to finance things I need that are big ticket items. I have NEVER missed a payment with them and always paid off my loans early. Now, since I've succumbed to Credit Karmas constant advertisements, a hard credit check was done on my credit and it is now trashed for up to 2 years. Affirm no longer offers me credit due to this. I had a high credit limit with them because I've been perfect with repayment, even paying off my loans early. Now I have nothing. I am going to file a complaint with the FTC and anyone else that I can, unless Credit Karma removes the inquiry from my credit reports. I fully understand that it was my choice, but I was deceptively advertised repeatedly, and all that does is hurt people. So, I deleted my Credit Karma account and all of the sudden, my transunion credit report is no longer scorable. WTH??? Everyone needs to file complaints when this happens to them and maybe they will be held accountable for deceptive advertising. I had to rejoin Credit Karma so I can dispute these things.
