CK offers the ability to check what loan offers may be available while clearly claiming "no impact to credit score" and that there will only be a hard inquiry after you pick one to apply to. I found... Mehr ansehen

SCAM
First, they said no "hard credit pull". It was the first thing they did. We have very good credit, make excellent income, told by Credit Karma that we have an excellent chance of getting this card. Nope, Declined.
This looks like a SCAM to me.
Beware!!
constantly try to log on
constantly try to log on, now I dont get a code texted. Contact customer via email multiple times because a new address was added. They email back that I havent tried to contact them recently. It's nothing but a bot that has no intelligence. At least they have some offers for cards, but the logon and customer service is totally flaky. I have no choice but to ignore their warning emails, because there is nothing to be done.
Endless Marketing Calls After Giving My Info!!
About a year or so ago I clicked on the advertised options on the Credit Karma app for personal loans to pay off debt. I eventually decided on a loan. The loan itself is fine, but since then I have received anywhere from 5 to 18 calls per day, in addition to texts and emails. I keep getting offers in the same price range as those I was researching. I have blocked over 300 numbers, yet they keep calling with a new number. They call during my runs and while working out, every day, which stops my podcasts, music or audio books. They call while I’m driving, every day, which stops my podcasts, music and audio books. I’ve called them both to remove me from any and all lists. I’ve contacted the FCC and had all marketing blocked and removed with my info. Nothing has changed. I seem to be on a permanent list now, and the calls won’t stop.
I’m writing to report the issue so others will understand what you’re getting, even if you simply just do a search to see your options you may be put on these call lists. I’ve had the same cell phone number for over 20 years, since the military, and I’m considering changing my number. Getting on average 12-15 calls a day for almost a year is super frustrating. I can’t be on a call with family without receiving a marketing call for a loan. I can’t listen to music in my house without it being interrupted with a marketing call. If I reject it, they call right back. Try going for a run and having to restart a podcast 4 times while running because someone is calling trying to sell you a loan.
I told both Credit Karma and Upstart that if they do not stop, I will start matching each call with a review online stating my experience. So here I am. This is my experience with these two companies. I’m not sure which one sold my info or is using my info for marketing (likely both), but I’m putting it on both until it’s resolved. You’ll see this review in other places as well, as I’m making it a daily effort to put it out there.
The emails are clickbait--FAKE FRAUD ALERTS & DARK PATTERNS
The emails are clickbait for CK to make fees for credit card ads--I received a "fraud alert" email and clicked on the CTA to see what it was, but there was no "alert". The blue CTA at bottom of the credit report review page (the button is the same component pattern as the other buttons on the page), below a credit card ad, states "Continue", which led me to think there was more to the report (like perhaps something about the alleged "fraud alert" that compelled me to come to this page in the first place). However, it kicked me over to the credit card's application page, for which Intuit/CK undoubtedly gets a clickthrough fee from the credit card co. So it's what's known as a DARK PATTERN in UX design and is deceitful. What a waste of time!
What type of scam credit karma running…
What type of scam credit karma running on people they give you credit cards to be approved for and their of the chain get a $300 card get in a bind and they close your account and within 3 months your payment is $700 you go to pay it with a debit card and they want $7.50 for using debit card Credit One Will not be getting paid They can do what they do every month Hit My credit for 25 points it's all a scam glad I don't really on my credit score!!!!
Never had an issue
I have been using them for almost 10 years now and have never had an issue with the website, app, services, or anything.
The customer service is horrible
The customer service is horrible. They trick you into thinking you can apply for loans at certain rates and then come back with a higher rate after they hard pulled your credit. Never click apply on Credit Karma cause you’re only hurting yourself.
Outstanding odds means nothing
Outstanding odds means nothing. Don't trust Credit Karma. With a exalent score I was declined by Wells Fargo. I have waited for a month for Credit Karma for a reason I'll have to live with a decline with almost an 800 score. Credit karma is known for this. Don't use or allow any contact with this losser company.

Avoid the Frustration, Go Elsewhere
Could not log in, tried all solutions suggested by HELP, but nothing worked. I unfortunately spent a couple of hours looking for help, but there is no way to talk to a real person to get help. If the help page doesn't have your problem listed, it goes into an endless loop that no matter what you try, it sends you back to the same worthless help page. There are no people servicing the products, only prerecorded AI on the phone and AI links on the site. Other companies offer similar products with real people available when you need help. I recommend skipping the frustration of Intuit products and choosing a better solution.
They are very dishonest
They are very dishonest. They have no problem blowing up your adds in advertising but these advertisements make no sense. These are terrible adds . They are trying to sell what they cannot bring about. Sincerely me.
Tried to change my phone number and…
Tried to change my phone number and they want a dollar from my bank account. Credit karma sucks
Never again
Recently, I've had some fairly dire financial issues. Even though I was told via Credit Karma that I had 'excellent approval odds' for a low-interest personal loan, there wasn't a single offer below 30 percent and for less than $5,000. You must be joking...
I then received numerous calls to my mobile phone with these so-called offers; most of these calls came through as 'scam likely.' I am now thoroughly disgusted with Credit Karma, as their site has been no help to me whatsoever. Ditto for their featured lenders that told me to 'go pound salt' when I truly needed their assistance.
Bogus Emails from Credit Karma! Beware and don't waste your time!
I keep getting these emails from CK that there has been a change to one of my reports (Note added to closed account or balance increase on open account) and to click on a link to take me to a place where I can review those changes and file a report if I need to. I click the link and I'm taken to my home page with a message of: There have been NO changes to your report. CK chat tries to explain that CK does not automatically update as soon as a credit report does. If not, then how does CK know that there has been a change to my report? And if they can be detailed enough to state which account it was why does that info suddenly disappear when I follow their link? This company has become more hassle that it is worth. What a freaking joke.
Intuit came in and ruined "Credit Karma"
Intuit came in and ruined credit Karma.
It used to be my credit score reviewer app and site.
After the intuit, it is one of the most problematic credit score viewer and builder app.
The amount of hard inquiries u got hit with is bad.
They keep suggesting cards , insurance and loans.
Mostly, u git hit with hard inquiries.
The suggestions they mark as intuit approval guranteed have the worst APRs.
So. My advice. Pick the credit bureaus them selves and avoid the hassle.
I’ve suseless customer service messed up system NOTHING will be fixed.pent hours and hours trying to…
I’ve spent hours and hours trying to get them to fix a glitch in THEIR system but just wasted 3 days as they dont care and will DO ABSSOLUTELY NOTHING to9fix their own system. sent 30 emails back and forth they state they do not have a tech dept and the idiots just send the same worthless
CK IS A JOKE… CHECK YOUR FICO SCORES
CK will have you thinking your credit score is good, but CK vantage score is actually lower than my fico score! The score lenders actually use. CK IS A JOKE. They just want you get credit cards. They offer no assistance at all. Lenders rarely use vantage scores so what’s the point!
It makes it apply to cards
It makes it apply to cards, they run credit and my low score. Very bad experience with Credit Karma. The worst.
Repeatedly Disappointed – Poor Support and No Accountability
I’ve used Credit Karma for years, but my recent experiences have been nothing short of frustrating. On multiple occasions, their “Karma Guarantee” was not honored, even when I followed the process exactly. Instead of taking responsibility or working toward a fair resolution, their responses were canned, dismissive, and simply pointed me back to the fine print.
When I expressed my concerns respectfully, they didn’t engage meaningfully — just sent generic policy explanations. This has happened more than once in a matter of months, which shows me that the issue isn’t an isolated incident but a pattern.
To make matters worse, when I tried to address the problem during an application, their platform would glitch, forcing me to start over or complete the process outside of Credit Karma — effectively voiding the guarantee.
I’ve now closed my account and will find my credit score and offers elsewhere. It’s clear to me that Credit Karma takes loyal users for granted, and I can’t recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, customer-focused service.
Not a legit banking institution
Credit Karma refused to settle my dispute after providing all necessary information stating the item was returned to sender via usps due to invalid address.. causing me to close account all together. I will also say having this banking institution caused me to get sued twice by lvnv funding.. do not dispute anything on their site as it shows the creditor you are active and have knowledge of debt
