I was so pleased with my original watch and the service from Neil that I decided to buy a second watch. Neil kept me updated from the start with updates of delivery so the process was effortless from start to finish. and of course, the watch arrived perfectly packaged and secure. Knowing you're dealing with a genuine enthusiast who takes real pride in customer satisfaction makes a real difference.

It’s always daunting spending so much on an online store but Neil set my mind at rest in all his helpful emails. Also if you go to Sinns website he is listed as a UK dealer so buy with confidence.
Also living close to Bolton I arranged to go see the watches in person, again Neil was so helpful, a real pleasure to buy from. I will be shopping with him again once my bank balance recovers!
During the order process Neil kept me up to date as he awaited stock from Sinn, when the watch arrived with him I received it next day.

Nothing too much trouble for Neil the main man.
Great prices and swift no nonsense returns with money back in account sharp.
Delivery was next day with both watches.
Will definitely use again.

Bought my first Sinn through Chronomaster. After dealing with an AD locally I had found the experience frustrating to order a watch. Neil was the exact opposite, clear communication, stuck to the delivery date he quoted, and provided multiple updates while waiting for the watch to which was appreciated. Will be coming back for next my next watch.

I have been waiting for the Sinn U50 (with the new micro adjust clasp) to be released, and as soon as it was, Neil let me know so I could order. Ordered an IWC watch from Neil at Chronometer and although I was on holiday, agreed to post it upon my return.
Unfortunately, the watch was larger than I had hoped and returned it for a full refund which was honoured as quickly as was possible.
Cannot fault the communication and experience with Chronometer and would not hesitate to use and recommend to others!

I had my Hanhart 417 es repaired here after I dropped it. It came back clean serviced, and tested all with all proper documentation. Excellent customer service on email from Neil and the team, highly recommended.

I have just purchased a Sinn 857 Flieger tegimented from Neil. Ordered yesterday, delivered today. This is my 6th purchase from Neil and over all my purchases either new or pre-owned I have found that his description of watch and condition to be unerringly accurate and the service and delivery extremely efficient. Steinhart Ocean one vintage Red ! Neil was very helpful and the watch was delivered very quickly! First impressions are wow! Super value and very impressive on the wrist! Obviously time will tell on how it functions but being very well made and with a tried and tested ETA movement it has everything going for it ! The price from Neil is better than that being asked for used ones so buying from him was a no brainier ! Being picky the box is not the best and the protection on the watch takes some removing ( must be a good thing ) It is what you get inside the box that matters! It is what appears to be a very well made product at a very affordable price! Well worth the money! Dave C

I have bought several watches from Neil at Chronomaster and he has provided a perfect service each time. Just bought a Damasko which was not in stock anywhere in the UK, Neil chased down the company and got them to send out a model within 2 weeks, as well as giving me a massive discount. Shipping and packaging is lightning quick. I had an awful experience with a very well known UK brand when trying to buy a Sinn 556, and after 3 months of terrible customer service I got a refund and went to Neil, who had one in my hands within 48 hours.

Absolutely first class service from Neil at Chronomaster from start to finish. Ordered the watch online, which was extremely easy and efficient, and in.less than a week it was on my wrist, delivered by Special Delivery and extremely well packaged.

I have no issues in recommending Chronomaster to anyone looking at buying or selling a watch, Neil is a great person to do business with and I'll definitely be buying again.

Approach with caution. Very good at selling you watches, less good at a straighforward interaction when buying one back.

Had a clear agreement with Neil on buying a watch back from me based on email exchange and a series of pictures. Once the watch was in his possession he came back to me with a range of reasons to try and further discount the price. Will avoid in future for this reason. Very disappointing.

I contacted Chronomaster regarding a particular watch, and in fairness Neil responded quickly.

However, because the specification of the model he advertised as being held in stock by him are different than the specification shown on the watch manufacturer's own website I asked Neil if in fact his stock was 'old' stock. The clear implication was that I wanted to know if in fact his stock models have been superceded by improved models.

The difference in specification related to the movement and saphire crystal of the watch. As I have said, the manufacturer's own website, and every other Authorised Dealer for the brand showed watches of the improved specification.

It is obvious that any business owner would know the answers to my questions.

He did reply to my enquiry, but his response was, in my view, deliberately equivocal and did not answer my questions by his choice.

Neil told me he thought the stock arrived "five or six months ago" which isn't what I asked.

I cannot trust anyone who doesn't give a straight answer to a straight question.

Moreover, the Chronomaster website blurb refers to "we", suggesting the business is substantially more than Neil, but I don't think that's true.

The site currently states that the next dispatch date is 17th June 2024.

Neil also sells the same stock listed on his website on Ebay, albeit for more money. His Ebay status shows he is "away" until 17th June 2024, from which I conclude Neil is on holiday.

I think that notwithstanding the blurb on his website suggesting other wise Chronomaster is in effect a one man band, albeit operating as a limited entity.

When Neil is away the business is effectively closed.

I think the blurb is intended to make the business seem more substantial than it is. That is important because any customer is de facto reliant on the availability of one man to attend to their needs and attend to their problems etc.

I appreciate that Neil did reply to an email whilst on holiday or other wise absent from work, but would I spend any consequential amount of money with a business that might not meet my needs? That's a rhetorical question of course.

It's a shame, because there are several items on the website of interest to me, but I avoid two kinds of business if I can; family businesses and one man bands.

Have bought a few watches from this company and I can honestly say it’s the best watch on line company I know, Neil is easy to deal with and is honest in his approach to both condition of his watches and the price you pay, I can highly recommend this company.

I've dealt with Neil at Chronomaster a couple of times in the past, and this week I bought a Sinn UX from him, so I thought it was time to write a review.

Dealing with Neil is always easy, he's prompt to reply to contact and very helpful. In the case of this purchase, I had a watch to trade and a deal was quickly struck. The Sinn arrived today and I'm very happy with it.

I fully recommend dealing with Chronomaster.
