Great with a few caveats
I just received my latest order from Blair, and everything was fine. I have a few comments and suggestions for customers who have had problems with them. First, use your bank credit card, not theirs. Another company I've dealt with charged me late fees and interest when the bill for their credit card was paid on the exact day it was received. I complained to the state Attorney General about this some years ago, and the problem was remedied. It seems to be a common practice if customers tolerate this. I don't. Second, Blair's return policy is admittedly poor, so order carefully. Their clothes are inexpensive, so in the very rare instance that I receive something I don't like, I just give it to Goodwill. Returning things is expensive, so don't do it. Third, Blair isn't the House of Dior. Most of their fashions are cut for comfort and practicality, and that's what I'm looking for. Their clothes have the waistline where I want it and the neckline modestly cut. If I'm looking for designer clothes, which I am occasionally, I shop elsewhere. Finally, order only when a discount is offered or the shipping is free. There is nearly always some sort of promotion.
I grew up ordering everything from the Sears or Montgomery Ward catalog. I learned early that their clothes did not always look the same on me as they did on the model. You simply have to learn how to order by mail or on line.
I have been a customer of Blair/Haband…
I have been a customer of Blair/Haband for over 10 years. Stupid me - I finally realized that 100% of their products are made in China (home of the Wuhan Virus regardless of what Tedros of the WHO and the mouthpiece for Xi and the Chinese Communist Government claim). I'll gladly pay a couple of dollars extra for pants, shirts, etc. as opposed to "attending" my friend's funeral or suffering through an extended and unnecessary lock-down. Therefore, please inform me when your companies begin with MADE IN USA products (you have my e-mail address).

Price gouging
My mom and I have been customers with Blair and the other stores affiliated with Blair for 20 years. My closet is full of Blair and Old Pubelo Trader Clothes and shoes. I placed an order for 3 pairs of shoes that came to $63.78. That was subtracted from my account as it should have been. Then I see a pending second charge for $62.47. I call customer service and say "hey, I have been charged twice." I was told by their representative that this is how they do business to ensure their customers have sufficient funds and that this 2nd charge is going to fall off as pending and go away....really? Now, you cannot use your money if it is pending in your account to go somewhere else. If they received their money, why do they hit you with a pending charge on top of it? So I am stuck, waiting for the pending charge to drop. Do not order from this company, their business practices have proven to be suspect as to how they handle the collections of the products they sell. Beware! Sadly, I will be looking elsewhere and no longer a customer of Blair. Who can afford to pay double or not have access to their own money after Blair has received their money? You cannot trust them.
They engage in predatory lending…
They engage in predatory lending against the elderly.
Everything is okay
Everything is okay, until you have to call them about a payment. Constant calls and letters for payments. Had to change my phone number and not going to update my account information
Like the items, but Blair needs to update their system to get a lot more business
The items I have received in the last month from Blair are good quality, great prices and deals. HOWEVER, their shipping is very slow. Honestly, I spend hundreds a month on Amazon and get 2 day shipping. I rarely go in regular stores anymore. WalMart.com has many items with 2 day shipping. Sites like Blair are going to have to get with current market practices and upgrade their order fulfillment efficiency and shipping methods and costs. To offset that I either find a free shipping coupon online for Blair, or I only order items so marked down that the shipping cost is not a factor. AND ONLY ORDER WHEN I CAN WAIT 2 WEEKS plus FOR AN ITEM.
I would order so much more often if they had reduced or free shipping. Some of their non-sale prices are ridiculously high anyway. Can't believe anyone would pay that for everyday clothes that are in any big store or site for cheaper.
I have never returned anything, but I believe the customers who say it is a rip-off. Most stores have free returns now. Blair is still in the dark ages of online shopping and marketing to consumers.
But I gave them 4 stars because I like the 10 items or so that I got from them in the last month.
Love the warmth of Sherpa, also bought Sherpa throws too!
Love this full zip (blue) Sherpa jacket, was eyeing this baby for over a year, until it went for $20 this Christmas!
Bought it for myself, it's still a bargain at the current $24 price bought it as a treat after losing a spouse this year - it perked me up to wear this well made jacket.
terrible experience
the online order is easy. however it does NOT mention that receive your order next day means receive the order next business day. terrible. I called Customer service and was lied too. the rep said that's standard shipping. i told him no i know better. it's free shipping. 17.99 for 3 days and next day was 39.99. what a wash. i paid for next day and still wait for 3 days! I have been a customer for a long time. this irser was huge. never will I order again. terrible customer service
Worst Experience
I placed an order on 11/19. The package sat in their warehouse for 4 days pending shipment as confirmed by UPS. I emailed to see if I could upgrade shipping or otherwise cancel the order as the items hadn’t left the warehouse yet and I needed them before thanksgiving. I was told no because the package had already shipped, which was false. I called in to see if I could upgrade shipping, which I was willing to pay for. Once again, I was told no. They said they could not alter shipping after the label had been created. I explained that UPS is capable of altering shipping even if the item is in transit as I make this call on behalf of customers in my business all the time. UPS simply needs the shipper to call in and alter the shipping method. They were unwilling to make the call. Instead, they told me to call UPS. I said I would, but that’s not how it works. Despite my patience and politeness (I promise), one customer service agent even hung up on me. I will never shop with Blair again. I suggest shopping with a company who cares about their customers.
Outrageous return fee not disclosed prior to purchase
Ordered a $16 vest that did not fit when it arrived. I had checked the return policy on the web site and no mention was made of a $9.99 return shipping charge. I called customer service to get return instructions when this return charge came to my attention. I could throw the vest away and only loose $6. Guess you can imagine that's what I'll choose to do! Never ever ever buy from this outfit!!!
BLAIR Grade is a D.
All clothing prices are inflated. You're not getting anything on sale. I bought two tee shirts which are very low quality. Plaid shirt also purchased is very thin material. Done.

I rarely ever post a negative review
I rarely ever post a negative review. I believe as long as Customer Support is of excellent quality if needed, that shows a Company cares about their Customers. A must to post a comment here. Was very happy with my account and ordered quite often. Great prices and never unhappy with product. Got a notice from them about my Credit line was being decreased. Had account for 3 years with payments on time every month. Line of credit paid in full multiple times during as well. Did fall behind, where score did lower, but no late payments to my Blair Credit. On time, with a notice lowering by $100 due to checking my Credit Report, that was not authorized. Still making on time payments for months, letter again received, lowering again. Score increasing, still lower my credit available. Needless to say, advised them to close my account. With one more payment, its again Paid in Full. And it doesn't matter to them, that they lost a Customer, that's poor business. They should look more into the account history than credit scores. Customers don't matter and will never recommend to anyone.
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. I ORDERED PRODUCT ON JUNE 16 AND NEEDED IT FOR A BIRTHDAY ON JUNE 25. ON JUNE 20TH I GET A NOTE THAT IT HAS BEEN SHIPPED VIA UPS. I CHECK THE UPS TRACKING INFO AND BASICALLY THEY PUT A SHIPPING LABEL ON IT AND NEVER EVEN DROPPED IT OFF AT THE SHIPPING FACILITY. ITS FRAUDULENT TO SAY IT HAS BEEN SHIPPED AND SEND YOU AN EMAIL WITH THIS INFO WHEN IT HAS NOT EVEN BEEN DROPPED OFF. UPS SHOULD STOP SAYING SOMETHING IS SHIPPED UNTIL IT IS AT THEIR FACILITY. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY ARE CLOSED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. WHAT ONLINE COMPANY CLOSES DURING THE WEEKEND? NEVER AGAIN...........
Are you effing kidding me?
$9.99 to return a pair of poorly made pants? That's outrageous. And don't tell me I didn't have to use the prepaid label. That's not the point.
I will NEVER order from this company again.
All clothing
I have bought a lot of clothing from Blair Co. and never been disappointed.Their clothes are true to size and are very good quality..never been disappointed-with anything from Blair.
Degenerated to New Customer-Service Lows. Simply Awful.
Fills order but doesn't send email confirmation of sale. Result, the customer has absolutely no record of the transaction. Their excuse is "We no longer send email confirmation of any sale).
When a red knitted men's polo shirt arrived with a white thread mixed in with the solid weave of the front pocket area of this shirt, resembling a bleach splash, I was referred by an off-continent poorly English speaking "representative" to go read the returns policy.
I did. Is stated that I must pay $9.99 to have the damaged goods returned. There was no way to contact any representative regarding the extreme-close-up images I took to show the bad weave showing white threads in a solid red knit so that I could show the clear damage.
I spend about 5 office hours over three days trying to reach the company to explain that I have proof of damaged goods.
Apparently the customer service has been relocated to the Planet Zotlar where communication between galaxies don't actually exist
This seems all designed to disregard customers who have experienced bad goods, damaged good, misdirected orders or any other flaw in the Company's operations.
Apparently Blair's new customer service interface is built on the "shoot-the-messenger" philosophy. Trouble with a customer order. Kill the customer and there will be no more trouble.
Blair is a “Mickey Mouse” operation doing web business with all the wrong solutions.
This whole bad system has arrived within the last year killing any sense of loyalty this ten-year customer had developed,
They’re now simply as bad a any consumer business can be and still serve it’s base.
I, like so many other customers are leaving this company I am finished with Blair.

Blair charges too much for postage
Blair charges too much for postage. They tell you postage is free but if you have to return an item you will be paying at the very least $9.99 or more. Plus, if you are ordering a cotton knit dress and also order a shrug/jacket to match it, IT WILL NOT MATCH IN COLOR! and the two items are OVERPRICED! BLAIR is not a consumer friendly company......
Once again I am having problems with…
Once again I am having problems with this site. After losing my order (birthday present) and having to re-order- this place has billed me twice. Once for $26.96 and then for $19.97. I was assured that the first order (the lost one) was canceled. Oh no. They charged me almost $7.00 for shipping the throw to the twilight zone then charged me $19.97 again 15 days later. Unbelievable! I will tell everyone who doesn't run away from me how horrible this company is.
Not going to buy more from them
Everything is okay, until you have to call them about a payment. Being recently unemployed they don't cut you a break. Constant calls and letters for payments. Had to change my phone number and not going to update my account information
