Don't waste your time

Started buying from Blair/New Process in the early '80's; it was a good, honest American company then. Customer service was U.S. based and helpful and much of their product was sourced right here in the USA. Today, they're nothing like they used to be; customer service is outsourced to God knows where, quality is worse than big box brands and sizing runs all over the place. Last order for medium shirts I had to give away because the fit was more like a small. Fleece and velour shirts which used to be thick and luxurious are now threadbare and transparent.

gambled and lost

for me, buying clothing online is a gamble. color may be off, might not fit, etc. bought a $30 jacket at blair. came wrinkled. asked customer support for suggestions to remove wrinkles or i would have to return it. response was only about returning it. they ignored my question for help on wrinkles. i'm not gonna wear a wrinkled jacket. i can return it with their label for $10.00 shipping or pay my own shipping. i have to pay shipping to return a defective product. not happy with their product. not happy with their customer service. not happy with their return policy.

SIZING!!!

SIZING!!!! Let me start at square one..I placed an order for demin capris, size 16P. When I got the order I had a “10P”, I haven’t worn 10P’s, seen elementary! So I had to return them and pay the return shipping $9.99 for their mistake! And reordered the “16P”. Well, I did get the 16P, but they are small for a 16P. I do have a 16P that I ordered 2 years ago, which fit. So what do I do? Return them and pay the shipping fee $9.99 and say take my name off of your mailing list? I’m done with them. I might just give them to the resale store in our area! I’m sure I won’t hear from Blair! I just looked at my order form and I couldn’t return them if I wanted to, their mailing address is half cut off and I didn’t do it!!!

Not crediting correctly for items (unopened) returned in a timely mannerr

I placed an order on May 17th, 2023. Cost was $84.32 for two items, a top and a pair of capri's.
I received order on the 23rd or 24th. Upon looking at the material I decided the cost out weighed the quality.
Now, I never opened the clear bags that the article(s) are placed in at the factory. I returned all on May 31st, via 2 day shipping. Plus, another top in the package.
I received an email from Blair on the 8th of June stating that since I returned the items 60 - 180 days from when the item was shipped to me, they were only going to allow me ten bucks.
Yes, you read that right.
So I will call Customer Service in the AM and confront them. Considering who you speak with now, when you call customer service, hopefully they will understand English. If not, I will call Visa and speak with the fraud department.
Consumers wonder why their business goes down and the first place they should look is, Customer Service.

Wake up Blair

Customer service is the absolutely the worst. Shipping is the worst Ordered pjs from them that was supposed to be delivered over a week ago. Now they said that I must wait another week. They never told me about the delay. Just did it without telling me!

Blair styles Ignore Longtime Older Customers

I am 67 and a Blair customer for probably 20 years. I am also a 2x or 3x and have done very well with their button front dresses. Currently I have 3 or 4 of the denim dress. A few years ago they offered a nice plaid madras type cotton fabric dress in button front dress, and I bought all 4 colors, 3 of each. It was comfortable in the southern IL heat, looked nice, and didn't wrinkle. I have emailed them and asked to bring back the dress and don't even get an answer. In the past I bought skirts, an occasional shirt or other item. When they had the senior helpful equipment, I bought some of that. I used to buy bath rugs and lots of other stuff and was glad to help an American company even if stuff was imported. At least people in PA had a job. It was my go-to catalog. Since Bluestem bought it, who also owns Haband, they have ruined Blair. Half the dresses are mid thigh even in heavy sizes. Most of the rest of the adult dresses are knit, shapeless and sleeveless., not very good for someone of my age and size. The money is with the baby boomers but they are chasing the crowd who shop at the mall for freaky clothing like hi-low hems and tight fitting stuff. Hey Blair, you are cutting your throat with your most reliable customers. I have tried other brands (Catherines, Woman Within, and some retails stores) but everything is short waisted or the cotton is cheezy and shrinks up so your waist is under the bust. To the executive suite, why don't you send an email out to your former customer lists and ask what we are looking for. They just might come back to you, and help you pull out of the bankruptcy.

No more Blair. Ever.

I have ordered here for years with no problems. This week I started an order at work and completed the cart and waited to get home to finish it. I brought up the cart at home 4 hours later and the prices had risen. I emailed the company and I got some odd email that didn't pertain to my problem at all. I re-emailed and got another weird response. I finally called and got a call center in India and they were awful. No more Blair and I have bought a LOT from them.

Returns

Order a coat that was too large and returned it. Total was $51.99 and got a refund of $30.00. Charged me for shipping again. Even being charge for $9.99 to send it back plus the tax I lost money. Goodbye Blair, never again!!

Worst Company Ever!

I ordered Christmas gifts for my 92 year old father on December 11. I received an email "YOUR PURCHASE is confirmed." The order was cancelled because their system thought it was a duplicate order and I was NOT notified.

I would not have known, however, my sister let me know the shirts never arrived. How embarrassing for me! Shame on Blair!!!!!

I left 4 voicemails for Vee Vadale in Customer Service and she never bothered to call me back.

I spent 39 minutes on the phone today with a lovely rep and her supervisor who finally made an acceptable fix by giving me the sale price I was to originally pay and free shipping I was also offered in my original order. Not what I requested, but acceptable. Of course they started with the offer of 15% off one item. Pitiful!!

Blair does NOT empower their hard working, kind and helpful customer service people in the Phillipines.

I just got this email from Blair about a customer service message I emailed to them:
"Your message to customerserviceatblair couldn't be delivered.

A custom mail flow rule created by an admin at bluestem.onmicrosoft.com has blocked your message.
ATTENTION – The email you have submitted was identified as SPAM and was not received by the recipient. You will need to either submit your email via the website’s Contact Us Page or call us. If you are responding to a letter or previously received email, please follow the instructions and resubmit your email. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Yes indeed Blair is SORRY!

Will not buy from again.

What a joke. I ordered 3 of the same polo shirts in 3 different colors. I received 2 and the third was a completely different shirt and size. So, I requested an exchange, they said they would email me a return label, but they never did. They did send me a replacement shirt, but AGAIN it was completely wrong! So, I called customer service and I get a call center in India with so much background noise I could barely hear the person on the other line, who was a very nice lady, but she could not do much to rectify the situation all she could do is tell me that I should receive a return label by email in 24 hrs. Not holding my breath.

Blair is a ripoff place it says under thier website that they give u a full refund if the clothing is returned in 60 days but they don't do that they only give u a little amount of money back. They hold peoples money. So do not shop under this website they are ripoffs dont believe thier website

I have shopped at Blair for 6yrs and…

I have shopped at Blair for 6yrs and like every purchase I made. The clothes I bought fit right, were made well and had good fabric, not cheap. Received in less than 10 days, also can track order. Paying an account online is also nice and easy.

Now an awful company

My mother used Blair for decades and I continued for 20 years. Don't know what happened to them. I recently ordered two print tankinis. After a long delay I received the bottoms but they notified me the tops are out of stock. Their website shows solid top availbility but if you try to purchase you find not available until November 2022. Really? What am I supposed to do with the bottoms? Why did they even send them. They have not yet refunded the tops. In addition they stopped website access and purchase for international even with US delivery address.
It seems to me they are on their way out business.

I have recently cut loose from Blair…

I have recently cut loose from Blair after years as a customer. My issue could be slow fulfillment but it's not. I understand pandemic issues with shipping and warehouse employees. That's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. My issues are sizing and quality. Sizing has become even more inconsistent than usual over the past year. Along with that quality has plummeted. In my last order several items were from China and were poor quality fabrics and small sizes. Some shirts will be as described, some will be smaller and some will be huge. They have now cheapened their jeans to include rayon while upping the price. No more of my $$ to Blair. Tried to email customer service. Not a working link and should be taken down. Phone tree is ridiculous.

Too bad there isn't an option to give negative stars. I ordered some lawnmower parts in August 2021 and finally received.... AN OVEN MITT!!! Total scam. I reported the transaction as fraud to my bank and at least got my money back. I've tried working with their customer service via email (phone number doesn't work) and was told twice item was re-shipped only to have the tracking show it reached my city but was either lost or couldn't be delivered. They promised to send me a refund but of course that hasn't happened either.
