Having bought a brand new mauritius spa last summer and used for 3 months,packed away for winter and put out for 1 month this summer the heat shield inflatable lid has failed,they have serious manufacturing issus,the over engjneered lid with ribs splits at each end,their are videos on youtube to show you the defect in manufacturing and the problems that arise with the lid,would you really want to pay £800 for a product that fails after a few months

I ordered a 10ft pool and it came without one of the vertical poles. The pool in itself is otherwise great but I’ve had no joy in trying the various channels to organise the missing part to be delivered…..being held in phone queues, attempting to get a replacement through the website, finally speaking to someone on the phone and getting a case set up, being asked to submit photos then complete radio silence. Half the summer is gone and it would be really great if someone bestway could get in touch to organise the part to be delivered.

Good quality just a shame filter wasn't quicker as have to keep cleaning it as stops working but pool can't fault it's very good quality

It is robust, is a decent height. Copes Ok with slightly sloping gradient. Great for the weather

Pump filter broke after one use and had to jump through hoops to get a refund that am still waiting for

Stunningly poor products and back up service, bought a pool and pump just over a month ago, the pool arrived with a hole so had to patch it, and during the first pump filter clean the seal came out, and on replacing it the pump would not seal properly again, Bestway acknowledged my warranty claim by automated response email, don't bother calling as they will direct you back to the useless website warranty claim information. Won't waste my money or time on bestway products again:
Update: I responded to a request from Bestway after my initial review to supply additional detail, which was done on the day 14/07, unfortunately still no contact or further correspondence.

Had the pool for a few weeks, pump packed up, been trying to reach them for a week now, zero replies, awful service, pool is essentially now useless without the pump.

Fantastic pool, easy to assemble, hours of fun, filter is too small for this tub could do with next size up as having to change filters daily, other than that it's great so far 👌

Hopeless. I bought a Bestway filter pump for our paddling pool, about 10ft. The thing lasted a week. I’ve since emailed their customer service and the replacement process has been hideous. They take so long to reply and when they do, they ask for the most ridiculous proofs of it not working. The latest one was to cut the power cord. But apparently it’s not cut close enough. They told me this after another 10 days. I’ve now cut cut cut! Really don’t understand how where it’s cut affects the cutness! It’s not going to work depending on where that cord is cut. The fact it’s taken so incredibly long to either get a replacement or a refund is nuts. And still, no explanation as to why said pump can only work for one week.

I’ll continue with this extensive replacement back and forth cause I obviously have nothing better to do but I shall not be purchasing or recommending using this company ever again.

The pool is fantastic, kids have loved it as long as you look after the water with the proper products. The pool is a great size and has been a great purchase

Willing to change this if the situation changes however, ordered a pool on the 1st July following a stock alert. Specifically ordered from bestway due to the standard 6 day shipping. No updates at all to the order within 6 days. Yesterday on the 7th day received a notification that it had been shipped. So far no further updates AT ALL. I emailed yesterday for information on when to expect the delivery and got a "we'll respond within 5-10 days". Given that it was a large expense for us with the intent for our family to be able to use the pool during this latest hot spell it would appear that by the time the pool arrives we will not be able to use it as we won't be here!

Whatever you do dont purchase a Bestway filter pump or pool cover. First of all the pool cover shrinks in the heat from the sun until it barely covers the pool anymore. Secondly the filter pumps are not fit for purpose for such a big pool if the reviews are anything to go by. My pump is faulty and has been since it was delivered. However customer services continue to play ping pong email, send us videos or this and pictures of that. They dont want to accept liability or abide by the Consumer Act. If I had the choice again I would avoid this company.

Terrible customer service!
I bought a steel pro max pool 12 months ago and the pump has failed after 1 summer (approximately 2months). I have submitted five warranty claims and have also contacted your customer service team by email. It has now been several weeks, and I have yet to receive any response. I would appreciate a prompt update on the status of my claim and a resolution as soon as possible. The pumps they provide are not fit for purpose, cheap pumps that are designed for much smaller pools.

This company doesn’t communicate

We purchase an inflatable unicorn for our daughter to use in our in ground swimming pool. It ripped along a seam within a week. It had not been abused or miss treated and the rip was about 200mm long and beyond repair.

Bestway emailed me to say the pool I’d been waiting for was back in stock. I ordered immediately, paid, and received confirmation. Twenty-four hours later they cancelled my order because they had reallocated my pool to somebody else.

Why send customers stock alerts, take their money and confirm orders for stock you will happily reallocate to other orders? Absolutely dreadful stock control and nonexistent customer service. Avoid buying direct.

Re: Bestways response on the 7th of July. Provided all of my details to them and they never followed up. Their reply is disingenuous at best, don’t bother.

I asked for a VAT receipt and never got one

As i have stated, the pool was brand new when recently set up. It remained unopened and boxed until recently. You state the pool is a year old….I have a two year warranty on the pool so your comment is pointless. It seems bestway will make any excuse not to honour the warranty!!

I bought a Bestway pool last June, but due to the poor British summer weather, I left it 100% factory-sealed inside its original box and stored it safely indoors. I unboxed it for the very first time this week, only to discover a pinhole leak on the sidewall during the initial fill.The pool has never been used, yet Bestway support completely closed my case. They claim a pinhole is a "puncture" and therefore customer fault, completely ignoring the fact that it is physically impossible to puncture a liner that was sealed inside a factory box. This is a clear manufacturing defect (an extrusion pit/thin spot in the PVC) that popped the moment water pressure was applied.Bestway is refusing to honor their own 24-month UK manufacturer warranty Warranty Cover - Bestway UK. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose Consumer rights - GOV.UK. A brand-new pool that leaks on its very first fill completely fails this standard.They are hiding behind vague guidelines and scripted rejections to avoid replacing a clearly defective product. I have been forced to escalate this matter to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards Reporting to Trading Standards - Citizens Advice. Absolutely shocking customer care—avoid this brand if you expect any post-purchase support.Case Reference: 122-066-6.

It’s still under warranty so your comment is pointless

I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the level of customer service from Bestway.

In August last year, I purchased an H2OGO inflatable Hurricane Water Park bouncy castle from Deuba. It was quite an expensive purchase, but my two children used their Christmas money to buy it and were really excited.

When it arrived, the separate landing section at the bottom of the slide already had a puncture. I contacted Deuba straight away with photos, and they advised me to contact Bestway as the manufacturer, as it should be covered under warranty.

However, when I contacted Bestway, they refused to help and told me to go back to the retailer. This back-and-forth went on for several weeks, with neither company taking responsibility.

All I wanted was help getting a replacement part, as the slide is completely unusable without it – children effectively hit the ground and the garden becomes waterlogged and muddy.

Eventually, Deuba confirmed they do not have any spare parts and cannot source one. I then went back to Bestway again, but they still refused to help in any way. I even made it clear I was willing to pay for a replacement part, but they showed no interest at all in helping me get a replacement.

This is extremely poor service from a well-known brand. The product has never been usable, and the lack of aftercare support has been unacceptable.

My children are understandably very disappointed after spending their money on something they can’t use.

I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a Bestway product to think carefully – if anything goes wrong, don’t expect any support or help resolving the issue.

Don’t be fooled by Bestway reply’s we want more information, as they still don’t come back and offer support despite being given the information!
